We had a great time on Kauai staying here and we would certainly stay here again. Our only word of advice, and not a knock against the host, is that the bedroom can sometimes get stuffy so if you’re a light sleeper that can’t do warm temperatures, the pull out queen bed they have in the living room would suit you better. The hosts are fantastic and have a lovely place.

This place is amazing! Centrally located and clean!
Our stay here was most enjoyable. The condo is well thought out with many amenities. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.
My favorite part of the day is sunrise on the beach with a cup of coffee. The rest of the day we went exploring. Be aware that to access the beaches on the north shore you need a reservation that can be made 30 days in advance and sell out quickly. GoHaena.com you need this for Tunnels beach and Ke`e beach and Blue room cave.
Smith's tropical Paradise has the best luau, IMO. This too sells out quickly so make your reservations in advance.

Enjoyed our stay, but location has some concerns that can’t really be described in Description.
Vey comfortable primary bed. Fold out bed wasn’t really comfortable for two small young adults adult. Kitchen is beautiful and fully functional with everything you need. Don’t leave cookies/treats out. The ants will get them, but it’s a lush island. Just put in fridge.
Whole house A/C is actually a single Minisplit with a portable fan to direct air towards primary bedroom.
It is Kauai. Research nice calm beaches and you will find at least four. The rest are big wave beautiful beaches.
Here is the primary Beef. Parking is quite a fiasco. If the spots on the left side of the complex are full( all dirt park as can)-then there are five stalls that you can assume next door and walk through the complex wall to get.

The stay in the unit and the unit itsself was fine. We had only problems with the door lock which didn’t work sometimes. The last day I had to use a ledder and take the way across the balcony. But perhaps it was our fault because we have complete other systems in Germany to enter an apartment.

I couldn’t have had a better place to stay. It had that extra touch to make you feel right at home. When they say 100 steps to beach they were correct. I got up early and saw beautiful sunrises and also saw a monk seal on the beach.
Location was perfect to see many excursions.
Another plus was the bike path along the beach. I just got up n walked for miles on it . Also great stores to shop in.
People were all so friendly.
The cleaning person Sheila was excellent n there for anything you needed.
I would recommend this beautiful condo to anyone.

Overall the apartment was in great condition and we had no issues parking our vehicle. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only issue was that the sofa bed mattress was too soft and possibly needs to be replaced. The folder listing attractions and restaurants needs to be updated since some of the listings are no longer in business.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was spacious enough for our family of 4. The furnishings were fine and the kitchen well stocked for basic cooking purposes. It’s located in a quiet community. No crowds at the pool or beach. The beach is only a couple of steps away and the unit is walking distance to Downtown Kappa. We would stay here again.

This property was perfect for our stay on the island. Just enough space to share for 2 couples. Turns out Kapaa is a really good location since it's about 1h30 more or less to reach every bits and corner of the island.
We apprecitated the nice touch of having some beach chairs & sun umbrella to use, as well as snorkeling equipement and soft cooler to bring for our day adventures.
Thanks to our hosts and we definitely recommend this place.

Overall this place was great! The extras in the property were really nice and the location was great, allowing us to stay in one place for our visit and still visit all areas of the island with reasonable drive times. The only thing that was a little tricky to navigate was the parking, but the owners were great at communicating the options and once we got there and saw the layout we were able to figure it out. We had a lovely time!

Wonderful, cute & clean condo near the beach with all that you need to make meals & relax when not swimming/hiking/kayaking/surfing/snorkeling/sailing on this incredible island! Walk down to the beach to catch the most incredible sunrise with a cup of coffee and plan your day exploring--the condo location puts you right between north and south shore areas, very convenient if you want to take it all in. Great beach equipment for our family of 3, just what we needed to have fun experiencing the incredible beaches. Easy and quick communication with host. Big mahalo for use of your great place, exceeded expectations!

We enjoyed our time at this property. The condo is very clean and has lots of little extras to make your stay very comfortable. The location is close to beaches and Safeway is across the street for any groceries. We enjoyed taking our morning walk/run just blocks away on the path that runs all along the ocean. Beautiful watching the sun rise.
You certainly won't be disappointed with condo and the location.

Renting this property was absolutely seamless. It was the perfect place for our family of four including one teenager and one child. We had so much fun exploring the island and we had easy access to everything from this condo. There are also two great pools here, that the kids really enjoyed. The condo was a perfect space with everything that we needed. Hope to stay here again in the future !!!

We loved our stay at Kauai Kailani! The owners (Ken and Sandy) were super responsive and flexible when we had to delay our trip and change dates. The condo is clean, well stocked and centrally located on the island, allowing you to easily visit the north or south. The beach is just a few steps away and provides beautiful sunrise views. We would absolutely stay again and hope to someday return.

It was a wonderful central spot if you want to go to north shore or south shore. Thirty minutes or so away WITHOUT Kapa'a traffic. I only went to the beach in the north shore so can't tell you about the local beach. The cons are few which is lack of AC and the roosters crowing early in the morning outside but they are all over Kaua'i so what can you do. I recommend staying here if you plan to cook own meals and need to be central to the islands' tourist sites.

This place was exactly as we expected: great location, very comfortable, easy to access. It had all the amenities we wanted and then some. We used the pools and enjoyed our morning coffee on a lovely balcony. Unfortunately there’s no beach to speak of (as the other reviewers noted), but we chose to drive to other locations for the beach access. The proximity to grocery stores and restaurants was wonderful.

Beautifully kept property that is well maintained and cared for.
Well stocked with the basics (no plastic wrap or foil but lots of tupperware)
The pool was welcome by our 9 year old and well used! It was cleaned daily.
The owners were nice enough to allow a late checkout on our final day so we would have a landing spot while waiting for a late flight.
It is a little cozy, the pictures don't really tell you just how cozy. We had to quarantine for a day waiting for our Covid tests results to catch up to us (negative!) and it felt tight pretty quickly.
Don't expect a beach. There isn't one in front of the property. It washed away and there is now a wall of sandbags going down to a rock shelf. Not attractive or usable. Looked like it's been that way for quite awhile. We tried walking down the shoreline to other beaches but the water was so full of rocks they weren't that usable either. Not a big deal as we usually travel around the island a lot and don't usually spend much time at the properties we rent. Those seeking a beach should go elsewhere.
Very conveniently located across from shopping center for groceries and sundries. The Mexican restaurant down the street is fantastic! Chicken in a Barrel is some of the best BBQ around also!
Overall a great little place to use as a home base for exploring the island.

This was our third stay on the island of Kauai which we love! We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful stay at this condo in Kapaa. This condo is close to the airport and centrally located on the island of Kauai which makes it convenient to get to various places such as shopping, beaches and many sites or activities and cuts down the drive times. The condo was very clean, it had everything that we needed from full kitchen, washer/dryer, comfy bed, pool and necessities to bring along to the beach plus more. We would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a memorable 25th!

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. It's a beautiful location; we enjoyed watching the sunset every evening from the deck. The location is ideal - right in the middle of Kaua'i's east coast, which made it more enjoyable to travel to the Waimea Canyon, Kee Beach, and everything in between. We also appreciate the laundry appliances, which made us willing to get all sweaty on the trails but still have some comfort. Thank you for helping us experience the joys of Kaua'i!

This unit was locates in a quaint area in Kapa’a. It is near the beach but I probably wouldn’t swim in the waters because the waves are a bit rough for me but if you get up early in the morning, you can find a lovely sunrise. The location is walking distance to restaurants, Safeway and Starbucks. Also the location is convenient when we either wanted to travel to the north or south part of the island. The unit itself was comfortable. There are 2 rooms but the second room has a couch with a pull out bed just fyi. We used the kitchen quite a bit to save on dining out. There is no air conditioning but if you open up the front door and back sliding glass doors there is a fantastic cross breeze plus there are plenty of fans. Washer and dryer was extremely convenient. and the pool on the property was great. My daughter swam in the pool everyday after we went to the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our first time to Kauai and the location of the property was ideal for exploring all sides of the island. There are lots of good places to eat close by and it's relatively close to Costco and Walmart to stock up on food and other necessities. The condo was really clean and exactly what we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future if we are lucky enough to make our way back to Kauai!

The complex is in a great central location for getting to places around the island. Also, the location is right across from a shopping center--Safeway, Starbucks and our favorite--Papaya Natural Foods and Café. It's a well-stocked natural foods (co-op style) grocery and the rice bowls from the café are amazing. Get one to go and enjoy it on the lanai at the condo for an easy meal. There is traffic noise but the convenient location was worth it. The condo doesn't have a view of the beach, but the beach is just steps away. The condo has been recently renovated and the owners have added welcoming touches and everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and the owners have supplied a picnic cooler, beach towels, umbrella, and chairs. We really appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit! There are two barbeques on the premises and the grounds and pools are well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.
