The condo was nice but hadn’t been cleaned upon arrival. They were able to get a cleaning crew out there but after a long flight it was definitely an inconvenience. Other than that our stay was great. The view was amazing for watching the turtles and the Monk seal that lays out during the day.

First time to Maui and this was a great central location as we ventured out each day, plus it was walking distance to the harbor where we did a couple of tours. View from the balcony was exactly what I wanted for our stay on the island and having 3 separate sleeping spaces worked well for our family.

This was our family’s first trip to Maui, and we were very happy overall with our stay here. The condo is very centrally located to whatever direction we wanted to go on the island making our activities easy to access. The condo itself is very comfortable and has a terrific view ( we loved sitting on the lanai watching the sea turtles!). The host was very communicative ahead of our trip and when we checked in. The only minor things that could have been improved was that one of the provided beach chairs was broken. Additionally, there was no cooler provided for beach trips. Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

Our family of 4 had an outstanding stay at this condo. The three bedrooms allowed my husband and I as well as each of our sons (19 and 22) to have our own space but also provided areas to hang out together. The kitchen is small but very well equipped -- and the outdoor grill on the property was a nice bonus. The road behind the building dead ends at a park with a nice beach for morning walks. The location was perfect for exploring the island as it's centrally located on the west side near lots of resorts and beaches and also an easy drive to Paia and the road to Hana for a completely different experience. Point Break Pizza in the shopping area at Maalaea Harbor is exceptionally good if you don't feel like cooking and do not sleep on Hula Cookies & Ice Cream in the same area. We were able to watch sea turtles, tons of surfers and a harbor seal from our balcony. We also really appreciated the beach and snorkel equipment provided. Melanie and Neil were communicative and responsive. Highly recommend!

Great stay. The property was as advertised with a very communicative owner. Great A/C kept us cool each night except the attic room. The attic room bed was a little too solid as well. But overall a great stay, great location, great amenities.

The condo was a great home base for our multi generational group of 6. Melanie was very responsive to our questions and gave very clear and simple checkin/checkout directions.
The view was amazing, listening to the waves at night was pleasant and exploring the little beach was fun for the kids.
Location wise it was very easy to get most places in the island. Everything was 15-25 minutes away. There was however limited restaurants and shops nearby. We did find a great local pizza place at the harbor shopping center.

It was a real treat to stay at this property. It is well appointed, I was excited to see they even had an Instant Pot for my morning oatmeal! Everything was as it was stated in the description. We loved seeing the turtles on the beach, and watching the whales from the lenai. Everything worked and we never had to use the A/C once. It was not only a breathtaking view it was a relaxing place to stay! We hope to stay there in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo. Maelaea is a perfect location for being close to the beach, marina and some restaurants/shops without the busyness of Kihei. Condo was clean and perfect for our needs. We traveled with our two kids (14 & 9) and they each had a room. Once we figured out how to get the tradewinds flowing through the condo, it was always the perfect temperature with no need for AC. Loved having the beach chairs and towels for our daily visits to beaches. The highlight was the patio overlooking the ocean. We watched whales and turtles every morning and night right from the patio. Overall a great experience and would book again.

Lovely, well appointed apartment in a great location, on the water with beach access (so many turtles!) We watched dozens of whales every morning with our morning coffee from the balcony. Beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear, cooler, etc were great to have for beach days. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed this condo very much. Our first night there we saw whales, sea turtles and even a shark. The constant sighting of whales thrilled us the most. A couple of the bedrooms were a little interesting as one is a loft bedroom which overlooks the living room and there’s zero privacy, and another bedroom has an angled ceiling, perfect for bonking heads on. Also it has no window. Where I come from it’s not up to fire code for qualifying for a bedroom, but perhaps codes are different here in Maui. But thought it was worth mentioning if you plan to have kids or children staying in that room. But you can tell a lot of care has been taken in decorating and making it feel like a home. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked, the location is amazing and the view is incredible. The owners were lovely to work with. We would most definitely stay here again.

There are many places to stay along this stretch of beach, but this is the best. Great view, pool, jacuzzi,location and even turtles! We had a group of turtles that visited us almost everyday, it was great to see them bobbing in the surf or just sunning on the beach.

Loved our stay! Excellent communication with the host (a big plus). Home as described with outstanding views (and good wifi). Loved watching the sun rise and set, and seeing the whales in the distance and the turtles that rested on shore each night. The home was a great space for my family of 4 adults. Easy walking distance to the harbor and the beach. The best thing was the location. Quiet, low traffic area with easy access to the entire island. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends traveling to Maui. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our family had a wonderful time at Melanie's property. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The view was our favorite part! We saw see turtles from the balcony and up close almost everyday. The location was incredible as well. The condo is in close proximity to a lot of amazing beaches and restaurants on the island. We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wishes to stay in Maui. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Really enjoyed our stay at the condo property. While the condo complex itself is older, inside the unit is completely redone and is very nice. Great bathroom and kitchen that have been redone.
Two king beds was great especially for my teen and pre-teen that after we stayed in a cramped hotel the two nights prior.
The location is really nice to the harbor where you can take rides to see Molokini Crater (we did this it was fantastic) or go to other activities.
Communication was great, check in was super easy.

This condo was perfect for me, my husband and our two teens. I spent every morning watching the surfers (we got to experience "Freight Train" while in town), turtles and the beautiful view while I had my coffee, and every evening with a glass of wine. We appreciated having beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear and sand toys available. I enjoyed the lending library in the lobby and the condo was centrally located for all that we did the week we were in Maui. We also appreciated not having to bring soap, shampoo, conditioner, laundry pods and coffee "stuff" (although I did buy extra "just in case"). The attic bedroom is warm without A/C but there is a fan that we ran at night. The kitchen could use new glasses and more than just salt and pepper in terms of cooking ingredients. We had to find a beach that we could swim in, the one adjacent to the property is very rocky...but overall, we had a great time! Mahalo!

My wife and I rented the property for 9 days for our "family moon." We got married and we all enjoyed all that Maui has to offer. The property was perfect for us. It is beachfront with gorgeous views and the Feliciano's are excellent hosts. We can't wait to come back.

Our stay here was excellent. We got to see green sea turtles every day we were there. There's not a whole lot of beach but it was fine to swim/snorkel in the area when the water is more calm. The condo is central to all the places we wanted to visit.
Condo was very clean and consists of basic kitchen supplies, toiletries, bedding, beach chairs & umbrellas. My only complaint is the living room area doesn't exactly fit 6 people comfortably but it did the job. The attic bedroom doesn't have AC but they do supply fans to keep the room cool with the door open. The décor was very nice. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

This property is very centrally located on Maui and had great ocean view. We saw sea turtles and humpback whales daily from the condo. This condo was great for a family as it was a very quiet neighborhood. Overall we very much enjoyed our stay.

The home was in a perfect location, end of the building with an ideal view of the ocean, and nice privacy). There were just a few mishaps that were handled pretty efficiently (the couch leg broke and was fixed, the screen ripped and was fixed, and the washer started leaking and was also fixed). Overall great place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay! The views from the balcony were mesmerizing from sun up to sundown. The place was well suited to our group, and we loved the location and amenities: snorkeling with sea turtles right out front, hanging out at sugar beach, and also at the pool and hot tub, listening to one of the staff, Buzz (who also had all sorts of great tips about activities) play and sing Hawaiian, rock and Fijiian music by the water, cooking on the barbecue. We loved having this place as our home base as we explored the entire island - the central location was perfect - coming home to cook, play cards, watch movies, and get ready for the next adventure! Walking 10 minutes to get on our snorkeling cruise to Molokini crater was also handy! Melanie was highly responsive and easy to communicate with and the place had everything we needed to head to the beach - towels, boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas. The only thing we missed out on was the whales!

We stayed a week and could not have been happier with the location. We were in the middle of everything and yet away from it all. We were close to the access to the Volcano, the road to Hana, snorkeling, and hiking. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping needs.

Excellent condo with an amazing view! It is centrally located and a short drive to several other places on the island. The accommodations are very nice and comfortable. The owner contacted us before our stay, during and after to check on us. Also being from out of town it was nice to have extras like boogie boards, snorkeling masks, beach chairs and beach towels. It is a short walk to a very nice beach or a short drive to many other beaches. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Maui!

There were some problems with the property due to a water leak. Melanie worked hard to rectify the problems. Although she wasn’t able to rectify all the problems she did make a generous accommodation. Overall, a very pleasurable vacation.

This condo is right on the ocean and with its top floor location offers a fantastic view of the bay and beyond. The location was, in my opinion perfect. While the property is really only near the marina and aquarium (which is awesome by the way) it is within 20 or so minutes of just about everything. The central location worked out fantastic.
We had the windows and slider open the entire time we were there and the breeze kept the condo very comfortable both day and night. The three bedrooms worked out great. Our teen had the loft and our little one had the upstairs bedroom. Each of which had plenty of space for them and their belongings. Everyone had their space to chill after a day of exploring the island.
We used the pool and beach supplies more than once and appreciated that the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner.
The unit could use a fresh coat of paint and maybe a couch upgrade but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

We arrived after dark so the dimly lit exterior was a little unsettling. Everything looked great in the daylight. We liked the laid back location. The lack of people was an added bonus with the onset of social distancing. The condo was our safe haven and had everything we needed. We hope to return some day after the world returns to the new normal.

We checked in after sundown, and I was initially a little disappointed in the condo. It was small and felt a little sticky, due to the humidity. However, listening to the ocean waves all night and waking up to the view in the morning overcame all questions. The person who stayed in the small bedroom in back said it was comfortable and cozy, The condo went directly to a 5-star rating! We stayed at the end of February, and were able to have coffee and watch the whales every morning from the balcony. There were also turtles at the beach in front of the property. The owners provide chairs, boogey boards, beach towels. A quick walk to the shopping, restaurants, and excursions at the marina. The owners provided all information we needed ahead of time ~ we didn't need to contact them during our stay, but I'm sure they would have been responsive if we had. This is a wonderful property!

As first time users of VRBO, we couldn't be more pleased with the property owners and this condo, which is located in a great Maui location.
We just followed the message directions for check-in, which couldn't have been easier. Melanie made sure to send several messages prior to our arrival, which made everything simple with finding it and checking in. The condo allowed for us and each of our two teenage children to have our own space.
As soon as we walked on the small sandy beach on the condo property, we were thrilled to see turtles, whales and a rainbow! We were able to read a guest book provided by the property owner, where we followed several recommendations from past guests that made our adventures even better.
This condo is perfectly located not too far from the airport. We were able to swing into Costco, which is between the airport and the property, to buy groceries for a couple of meals each day. This decreased costs significantly over going out every meal. We stayed an entire week here and felt that the owner was available consistently throughout the week for little things that came up.
The pillows are amazing. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The shampoo and conditioner were even great! There are little touches like black small towels for makeup removal, and even chocolate treats. The balcony has beautiful water views and pretty sunrises. The condo property was well manicured with a nice pool and hot tub too. We we also thankful for the recently installed air conditioner. Coming from a cold, dry winter climate to a humid, hot island oasis was a bit of an adjustment for my hubby! Lol
I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope that one day we can return to Maui.

Really enjoyed watching the very active whales from the deck. Turtles along the rocky beach also kept us entertained. We appreciated having private spaces for all our travelers and found the small bedroom just fine for a grown up.

Okay, so we have a track record of being good VRBO renters. When we check out of a unit we are always sure to make sure we clean up, start a load in the dishwasher, and start a load of towels in the washing machine. My husband will go so far as to vacuum wherever we are staying at least every other day (he’s a clean freak). That being said, our experience at this condo from check in to check out was NOT what we expected. The description of this unit described the unit as air conditioned.... that’s like saying rolling down your window in your car on a hot day is air conditioning. The upstairs hallway has an air conditioning unit sitting on the floor. Strangely, one of the upstairs bedrooms will stay cool and the other one will be OVEN HOT! There is an air conditioning unit in the window in the living room which will make an area on the couch freezing cold and the rest of the living area a “humidy” cool. The master bedroom will be HOT..... like convection oven hot. It was not as described. Also there were ants everywhere which was interesting given we were on the fourth floor but they were there. Finally we checked out and a day later got an email from the owner saying she was charging us an additional fee for cleaning because we left sand everywhere and blood everywhere?!! To say we were shocked was an understatement as this was flat out not true. She even said we left blood in the dishwasher.... which is especially hard to imagine that we started the dishwasher .... we can describe multiple items of proof that what she said was not true. We learned our lesson. On check out from condos my husband now takes pictures of the units as proof of the way we are checking out. If you stay here you may want to consider taking pictures upon checking out and you should be aware that air conditioning is somewhat frustrating.

We like the condo and location and view and it had everything we needed-
what we didn't know is that they were tearing the roof off while we were there.
The condo is on the fourth floor right under the roof. Dirt fell from the ceiling on our beds, bathroom floor, kitchen, and stairs while we were there. The banging and nailing was very loud and woke us up when we wanted to sleep.
This went on for about half the time we were there. This was very disappointing. The owner apparently did not know this was transpiring.

Loved the condo for our party of 5. Walking distance to the aquarium and a short drive to Kihei and Lahaina. The condo is beautifully accommodated; the entire unit looks like it was completely redone recently. The best part was realizing that, as we sat in the lanai overlooking the ocean below, what we thought were boulders were actually big green turtles diving for food!

We love the location, near the Maui Ocean Center & harbor. It’s less crowded & not as touristy, and it’s about 20 minutes to most places in Kihei or Lahaina. Condo was clean & well kept. Owner Melanie was super responsive & helpful. The smallest room is really small, but worked out for my two kids to share. Would definitely stay again!

Four friends stayed in this lovely condo and it fit our needs perfectly. The complex has a pool, shared bbqs, and beautiful views of the ocean. The full kitchen was well used as we ate most dinners in. We were perfectly situated to get to Kihei or Lahaina under 30 minutes and visited both multiple times. Melanie was so easy to contact and get responses from. We’d definitely recommend this space.
