To start the information provided prior to check in was thorough and highly informational. Every detail was accurate about the unit compared to the pictures. It had everything needed for a day at the beach or a night in for games with the family. I would highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting to be close to the best beaches and pay an affordable amount for the stay. I will come back to this unit next time I travel out!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay Maui. The townhouse provided all we needed for a top notch stay. It was immaculate, had all the beach equipment we needed, fully stocked kitchen to prep many meals, and central to all points interests we visted including all the South Maui beaches. Our family had been going to Hawaii Islands for the past 15 yrs for summer vacation. We've been renting properties through vrbo and also from other vacation rentals websites and this is the 1st property we'd give a 5 stars on all categories. And I'm very picky as far as ratings go. This place is immaculate and has tons of supplies which I love. It's also the 1st that I never had issues with when it comes to cleanliness. I especially love the supplies of all white towels & extra linen in every room. The kitchen has all the basic cooking ingredients you'd need...etc....
Besides the great & beautiful condo, the owner, David, is so kind, honest, and generous. He had been guiding me through the process of rental with vrbo. I would give this stay higher than 5 stars if I could.

Exceeded expectations!! The well stocked kitchen was appreciated as we like to prepare our favorite family meals while on vacation. The upstairs lanai was the place for all breakfast and dinners. Plenty of toys, chairs, and an umbrella for the beach were provided. We thought the close location to the swimming pool might mean we could hear swimmers, but the dense trees and shrubs meant we never heard pool chatter. A suggestion to future guests: the BBQ grill nearest the townhouse is super convenient, but go a little further down the path to the BBQ on the golf course for the best view and most memorable grilling experience you may ever have! I hope this Vrbo stays available for future stays, because we would certainly stay here again.

Our one week stay was nearly perfect! David has everything you could possibly need in the condo. We had home cooked meals every day and weren’t missing any utensil or item needed to prepare a dish. The air conditioning units and ceiling fans located in each bedroom and the main living space kept us completely cool. We used Akamai Mothers and Mobility as recommended by David for items for our toddlers which worked out perfectly. Our family felt safe and comfortable for the duration of our stay. The condo is within minutes of restaurants, the strip of Kihei and grocery stores. We couldn’t have asked for a better first trip to Maui! We hope to visit again soon!

Great property for a large group of family and friends. Within walking distance to Monkey Pod and a short drive to Wailea Golf Courses.
The condo had great parking for 2 cars and an entrance on each floor which proved to be convenient. We especially loved the living room area and outdoor lounging area for hanging out as a group.
Would definitely recommend staying here if looking for a place in Wailea area.

It is evident David and his family have put a great deal of thought and energy into creating a vacation home that not only they can enjoy when possible, but can also share with others. This is key to me. Personal touches abound with some of my favorite being the delightful original art work - the decor is well thought out and island perfect. They have thought of everything you need to enjoy a comfortable and uplifting stay while taking in the amazing sights and activities in Maui. Very spacious accommodations with quality furnishings from towels and utensils to bedding and furniture. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well appointed, and the location was perfect for getting around the island. There are awesome views from the upper lanai and quick pool access from the lower lanais. The property grounds, including pools, are very beautiful and well kept. Combine all this with very responsive and helpful communication with David and you can not go wrong. And last, but certainly not least, the home was spotless - clean, clean, clean. Thank you for sharing your Maui home, my family and I had an awesome visit.

This is a well maintained and organized property. It’s up the hill from the shops in Wailea and adjacent to the golf course. It’s very quiet but still a short drive to beaches and activities. It was perfect for our family needs.

Owners were great to work with. Fast replies to our inquiries. We would have loved having a meat thermometer in the condo as well as a broom and dust pan. Little items not a huge investment. The 1 issue with this condo is the coffee maker!! Not everyone wants coffee at the same time. Pod coffee maker is a must.

We had a fantastic time staying in this townhouse! It is beautifully decorated and so comfortable - from the beds, couches, and recliners to the barstools and hanging chairs on the lanai. The unit was spotless when we arrived and stocked with everything we could have needed - detergents, soaps, cleaners, paper towels/tissue/toilet paper, extra sheets, pillows, blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed for family meals - plenty of dishes, utensils, pots/pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, and even spices and sauces! The A/C units in the bedrooms and living area kept the townhouse cool and comfortable. There were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and a cooler that made our beach days so relaxing. And, the labels! We LOVED the organization the labels provided - they helped us find things and put them back in the correct place, they helped us turn on the right lights and fans, and they gave helpful information! Parking our car right outside the unit was so convenient - it was just a few steps away from the lanai to unload beach gear and rinse off. This unit was truly amazing and so was our trip. We would love to stay in this townhouse again when we come back to Maui!

David’s property was so, so wonderful. Nicely remodeled with beautiful beach decor. It was equipped with everything we needed- full kitchen (even a rice cooker!), nicely working washing machine and dryer, and everything was labeled!!! Every light and fam switch as well as kitchen cabinets were labeled. It was so convenient! We didn’t have to spend time flipping every switch to see what turned on what. There were power strips placed throughout the house which was also very convenient. The house also had nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and even masks and snorkel. The beds were very comfortable too!

After a week in a hotel in Oahu we were ready for some extra space and a week to chill in Maui. David & family's place was the perfect spot for us. The condo itself was perfect. We joked daily about how they might need to drag us out at the end of the week kicking and screaming. Every amenity you could think of, plus clean, comfortable and stylish. I knew from the posting the condo was going to be my "style" - that's why I picked it - but it exceeded my expectations in every way. As did our family vacation in Hawaii. Communication with David starting from booking until we checked in was as smooth as can be. David was quick to respond to any questions, and flexible with our check out time. The property was amazing. Free parking right outside our door, everything was basically brand new. I was so grateful for the large washer and dryer. The AC units were great. Kitchen was clean, and spacious. The location of the unit is steps away from the pool. The neighborhood was great. Easy to get to the beach, to Kihei, and to the airport. We will definitely be staying here again.

This is a great place to accommodate 2 families. The owners have gone out of their way to provide guests with comfortable and harmonious surroundings. They’ve provided beach toys, towels, furniture and indoor games. The spacious layout of the condo with two lanais ensured plenty of living and eating space. The location, very close to the pool, provided a great alternative for our girls. The well equipped and organized kitchen provided us with a great alternative to eating out. The location, close to shopping, was extremely convenient.

Highly recommend this Ekolu two story townhome unit. Beautiful newly remodeled island beach decor with great ocean and garden view from living areas and lanai. Very clean with great light and close proximity to community pools, golf, beaches, shopping, restaurants and walking paths. We snorkeled, surfed, boogie boarded, swam, enjoyed grilling on our own bbq and our tall young adult children each had their own queen bed ( which is hard to find in a 2 bedroom unit. We would love to return to David and Joanne’s place again. They are excellent hosts…Mahalo!

Only downside was the pool nearest us was closed for the week but the beaches are so good it didn’t even matter. They have it fully stocked with dishes and everything you need on your stay. Our family of four (which includes 2 teenage boys, ages 17.and 15) loved staying at this property on our recent trip to Maui. It was so clean and was the perfect set-up for our family. The boys loved having their own queen size beds and their own bathroom separate from us. In addition to that, all of the beds, linens, and pillows were very comfortable.
The beach chairs and cooler were great to have for beach days!
The kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed. The smaller fridge downstairs was great for storing our drinks. There isn’t anything more that we could have needed that the condo didn’t already have.
Communication with David was great! He is always prompt in his responses and gave us all of the information we needed.
We loved staying in this condo so much that we have already reserved it again for our visit next summer! It really is that great!

I'm in love with this property! Everything is exactly the way I envision my perfect stay to be. It is squeaky clean, has a mountain of fluffy white towels available, has an amazing BBQ Grill on the deck, is close to the beach & shopping, has super comfortable livable indoor and outdoor space, has amazing art work and decor, and did I say squeaky clean? Just so you know, the beds are superiorly comfortable, and the air conditioning splits in each room keep the space deliciously cool. Looking for the perfect get-away on Maui?? Look no further - you have found it with this condo.

Overall the property was a wonderful stay in Wailea. All the check-in/check-out processes were very simple and straight forward. Loved the amenities of the property and the size. The place was very clean and the perfect spot for us with two kids.
It was an added plus having the boogie boards, sand toys, umbrella, etc. as well. I would note that the location albeit central to Wailea, technically is walking distance to shopping, coffee and beaches, would have been a challenge with kids and equipment to go to the beach hauling stuff uphill in the heat. I guess that depends on the family and the amount of stuff your taking.
We even faced an issue where the a portion of the complex was all cut off from water for a time period (a couple hours). I was unaware if this was just our property or across the board at the time. I reached out to David and he was quick to look into it, respond with the situation (not his fault - it was some water line), and following up when he was notified it was resolved. We really appreciated his responsiveness.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It really did feel like a home away from home, being able to grille some fish and kick our feet back. And for those that have to work remote or take conference calls and the like, the internet was fantastic. Great speed and zero issues.

I am writing this review back to our real home, but not a day goes by that I don’t remember your home David. It was the icing to the vacation. The comfortable place you landed after a long day at the beach or adventuring throughout the island. We cooked every night b/c the kitchen was so beautiful, roomy and well stocked. We had morning coffee while doing school work (homeschooler) on the lanai over looking Molokini. Islands, birds, flowers, trees.... all of it was such a site but also made for real life learning! The house was SO CLEAN, organized, well decorated and well stocked. We miss it so much and can’t wait to return. Grateful we chose to rent this condo instead of staying at a beach front resort. There was so much space, freedom and quietness. With the kids, it made it easy to roam out and explore the grass from the downstairs patio. We grilled. We used the beach gear which was fully stocked and in great shape. We easily drove to the best beaches. And we LOVED that a fun workout studio- Lagree Maui was just a short walk away. You couldn’t get better with the location.
Look no further friends- this is what “home” in Maui feels like.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay at this property. Excellent property! Very quiet and plenty of room for a family of 5. Very well stocked kitchen and easy parking. Walking distance to morning coffee, shops and the Wailea Blue course. Everything you need is on hand. Excellent host and love the guide book about the property, it answered all of our questions. Only drawback is the BBQ is down on ground level so, it’s not close to the kitchen. You have to walk though the master bedroom to get to the BBQ.

It is hard to know where to start with all the wonderful things to say about this condo. First off, David was such a joy to work with. He always answered my questions within 12 hours and even checked in to make sure we had arrived safely and that everything was ok with the condo. The unit itself is just so fantastic. Super clean, very tastefully decorated, and so well stocked with cooking utensils (with everything so nicely labelled!), cleaning supplies, extra towels, beach gear, or anything else you could possibly need. All of the furniture and beds are brand new and very comfortable. The large living space and two-story nature of the condo was convenient as well. The lanai off the kitchen was my favorite place to enjoy the peaceful mornings and again to watch the amazing sunsets in the evenings.
The location was perfect. Initially I was a little worried about not being right on the beach, but the main Wailea beaches were only a quick 5 minute drive away and there was never a problem with parking. There are a handful of restaurants within walking distance (Pita Paradise has a great happy hour) as are The Shops at Wailea.
I can honestly say that this was one of the best vacations I've ever taken. A large part of that sentiment was just the pure joy felt every time we walked into the unit. It really is that nice! As a side note, my super picky teenagers loved the unit as well, especially the two queen beds in the second bedroom. Mahalo David - we hope to be back someday:)

Our stay here was more than we imagined! The property was very spacious, clean, and fully equipped. The rooms were large, roomy and nicely decorated. As a frequent visitor to Maui, this two bedroom condominium was perfectly appointed, very clean and beautifully furnished. The location is excellent and close to Makena and shopping. I would highly recommend this beautiful gem.
