This was a very nice condo. It was extremely clean, great location, quiet, and it had everything in it that we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The condo was perfect for our stay! It was a great location, friendly neighbors, convenient assigned parking, fantastic pool and grilling/social area. The resident manager on site was also very friendly. As others have mentioned, the furniture is well-loved and could use updating for comfort. A coat of fresh paint would do wonders, also. Neither of those thing would detour us from staying again, though! The condo was cozy and felt like home away from home, a perfect launchpad for all our adventures. We are on a strict diet and appreciated being able to cook our own food, too. All in all, we loved our stay at the Kona Isle!

Lovely, well-appointed condo with all the amenities. We loved eating out on the balcony. Strolled to the shoreline to watch the sun set each evening. Lazed at the pool -- or swam laps -- in the afternoon, after morning outings. An excellent place to call home during our week on the Big Island.

This unit is located in a cute older complex that is well maintained. We loved the ocean views and the laid back vibe. The washer dryer was super helpful to have and the AC worked great! The only downside was that the unit itself needs a deep clean -- the wall and pictures in the bathroom had greasy dust and the bedroom had dust rolling around too. The bedroom could really use a coat of paint -- the north wall is super scratched up adding to the dirty appearance. It would also be helpful if the unit had a blender.

Loved the area it was located. It was a little dirty especially in bedroom. Portable oscillating fan they had was filthy and unusable. Price was good and communication from company was top notch.

We had 5 lovely days in Kona Isle. The property had a nice vacation vibe to it with the decor and colours. Property was very clean and had several things to make the stay enjoyable like beach chairs and beach umbrella and everything in the kitchen you could possibly need. The only downside of this property was the bed. It's terrible! We had to take the mattress off of the pull out sofa in order to make it tolerable to sleep on for us. If you're a person that needs a good bed then I wouldn't recommend this property until it gets replaced. Other than the bed, I would highly recommend this property. You can catch the trolley to go "downtown " and check out the restaurants and shops. Very convenient! I was also very pleased with Kona Coast Vacations! Very responsive and helpful when needed.

Check in was good with the email they sent. The bed needs a topper because it is very hard. The closet has beach chairs, Matt’s, umbrellas and boggle board which is a nice touch. They say it’s a 20 minute walk to town, no it’s a 15 minute drive. There is a pool on the property and a nice lounge area to watch the waves crash into the lava rock wall. There is no beach on the property, but there is near by. There is a side view of the water from the balcony and after sunset the views up the mountain is quite nice, with the lights from the houses. Washer dryer in the unit with supplied soap pucks (nice touch).

Everything was great. But was just Hot. There was no way to sleep on the bedroom without the reach of the AC unit in the living room. The fans just did not cut it.

The property grounds were great with bbqs, a pool, and being right on the water. It was lovely to go to sleep to the sound of crashing waves. Not so great was that most things were older and falling apart.

My fiancé and I stayed here for 5 nights and it was amazing! The property is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for! The walk to the ocean was clean and very well kept. The pool area was small but there wasn’t too many people so that was not an issue. The bbq/sand pits were perfect for home cook meals. We went a little earlier before sunset because they do get crowded. Also, town is only 1.5 miles from the condo. Some mornings we ran and one morning we walked. It was nice. Also, there is a liquor store right next to the property incase you need anything! The condo was a little older but very very clean. I was super impressed. They had everything you would need to cook, make coffee, drinks, anything you want. They have your basic cooking needs such as salt n pepper and olive oil. (Might have been left from previous renters.) The check in process was so easy and had no issues whatsoever. The only reason I am giving this condo 4 stars is because of the bed and furniture in the living area. The bed was probably thee worst bed we have ever slept on. Basically just springs and felt like a pull out bed. We even considered going to target and buying a pad or something. I think if they updated the furniture this place would be absolutely perfect! We will come back but would stay at a different condo just because of the bed. Overall, this place was a great home away from home!

The AC doesn’t reach the bedroom at all, so my family had to sleep on the pull out couch to avoid the summer heat (we aren’t used to it). The AC also has a 4 hour timer, so we would wake up in the middle of the night hot and have to turn the AC on again. The pull out couch was uncomfortable and thin so if you don’t want to be sweating all night or mess up your back I wouldn’t stay here. The nice thing about this condo was they fully stocked it with sunscreen, beach gear, and stuff you’ll need while out and about. The cleanliness was not ideal for a family, there was dirt and gunk on every wall and surface and cockroaches inside of the condo. Staying here would probably be ideal for younger people who don’t care about comfort or cleanliness.

The ocean front is gorgeous. Lovely BBQ area with tables, chairs and some trees for shade. Parking on site, washer dryer in unit, AC, full size kitchen lots of counter space. What a deal!
