BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to weather, heavy surf, strong currents, and tides. Due to Maui’s rural setting, you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Maui is in a tropical climate. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Host is not liable for any loss or damage to Tenants’ personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control. This area has many fantastic restaurants, parks, beaches that are close by and walkable. It also provides easy access, without a lot of back ups, to those areas to which you need to drive. Over all fantastic stay!

We have stayed at the location before at another condo and loved how close we were to everything. The location is amazing and we love waking up to a view of the ocean. This condo unit was okay, we loved the last one we stayed in a lot more. We noticed that the bathroom mirror was really dirty and the manager did drop off Windex the next day for us. I ended up having to clean it daily because it is old and gets a film over it after every shower. The shower smelled like mildew and you can see the build up on the shower doors. The last VRBO we have stayed at always have a kitchen with spices and basics this one only had salt and pepper. They also only inlucded two beach towels so I had to do laundry a lot. You get what you pay for though and are traveling on a budget this one is not bad.

The pictures provided were a pretty close representation of this unit. It could have been cleaner though. My stay was for 2 weeks unfortunately there was a water main repair in the front parking lot. Two days of my stay the water was turned off during business hours. The construction project was very loud during the day and lasted at least 5 of the days I was there.
The night time street noise in this location is extremely loud. The only reason I would recommend this unit is because of its location. There are many wonderful places near by within walking distance.

There’s so many things that were wrong with this place. It looks nothing like the VRBO pictures. Check-in was supposed to be at four the cleaning lady was still there at 5 PM saying that the other cleaning lady did a horrible job. The place is falling apart, it’s outdated. bedroom fan is full of black dust. AC held together on a piece of plywood, remodel is a joke. We had to get new towels because many towels and sheets were stained. The paint in the bathroom is bubbling. The building itself is dirty and old. Sometimes hard to get through to staff although Jeff, from customer relations was accommodating and understanding about our views. And we did receive some refund but very small. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. It’s more for spring break kids in their late teens early 20s. Many more issues but too many to write down. I’ve never written a negative review before and for me to do this, that means it was not good. Just be aware that you’re not gonna get this remodeled place that it looks like on VRBO. The owners take no pride in it. Extremely disappointing.

This is our second time staying in this unit in Kihei. You can’t beat the location, the bed is comfy (if you like soft beds) and the unit is spacious with plenty of storage. Easy check in and communication with property management. Unit is a bit run down since our last stay and could benefit from a few “touch ups”. But still a great place to relax and enjoy Maui!

Spent the first 5 days of our trip in Lahaina for a conference and were all ready for a break from the bustle of the resorts. Coming down to Kihei and staying at this condo was such a welcome break from the more touristy areas of the island. Great walking across the street to surf a bit in the mornings -- seems to be a good spot for beginners though we were told the surf was uncharacteristically low while we were there and we had the water mostly to ourselves. Surf culture dictates that locals get the first and best waves, so we were careful to honor that wherever we surfed. A short walk to a sand beach for the kiddos who wanted to boogie board.
The management was great about communicating a few minor issues (a broken lamp and missing key from the previous renter -- both of which were replaced within 24 hours of our arrival -- and one of the sliding glass doors was a bit sticky. Nothing we couldn't deal with). The condo itself was tidy and well maintained, despite the exterior of the building looking a bit weathered. The pullout sofa mattress was SO COMFY! What a surprise! Our only complaint was that the traffic noise was significant -- sounded like some street racing in the wee hours -- so if you're a light sleeper, bring some earplugs. All in all, we absolutely loved this little spot and my whole family felt comfortably at "home".

Beautiful unit with amazing ocean views! Kamala Park is directly across the street and we watched the sunset from the park or from the balcony. We walked to local shops and restaurants. Shaved ice was a favorite.
The unit is clean and the management team was responsive to our questions. There is street noise which didn’t bother us. We would stay again!
