The condo is in a convenient location and looks exactly as described in the pictures. Check-in and check-out was easy, and there are restaurants and a food-truck lot in walking distance. I'd stay here again!

Stunning view! Wrap around windows makes it feel like your own boat - all you see is water and sunsets! Very comfortable and welcoming. It’s an end unit so very soundproof.

The condo is clean and easily accessed, comfy bed, good shower and kitchen water power, kitchen filled with all you could need to cook most anything. Bedroom w plenty of closet and drawer space (2 women...stuff!!!), and bed comfy, sound pleasant with the crashing sea at night.
We had 20 people staying at the nearby Outrigger, so we walked easily there each day to hang out with them, at their pools and beach swimming & snorkeling. Everyone that visited our condo envied our VIEW!
There's a great place to eat at the food trucks, prices not bad for such a variety of choices. We also liked the Jazz bar across the way from trucks for day food and evening fun. The Dole Whip store nearby has better prices for food and drinks, just not as entertaining.

Pictures do not do this unit justice. Corner unit with windows that open all the way up to listen to loud, roaring waves and to see numerous turtles swimming by was indescribable. Definitely will be staying here again!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. The pictures are exactly what it's like. Breathtaking view, a sea turtle swimming by was the first thing we saw. The building is showing it's age, but the property has been renovated and feels brand new. The blinds are due to be replaced, but everything else is in excellent condition. The pool in back is nice, but would be nicer if you could see the ocean from it. Plenty of free parking. Food trucks and grocery store right in front.
Over $600 in fees and taxes is getting out of control, but that's probably in control of VRBO and the state of Hawaii more than the owner.

Beautiful condo. We had 4 adults and 1 child stay. Plenty of room! The pull out was handy and the blow up bed. All beds were comfortable. Place was clean and affordable. The view was incredible. From our room we saw Sea turtles & whales. A rare monk seal beached for an entire day, they roped him off so no one would bother him. So many things to see and do in this area. We spent a lot of time in Lahaina. Privacy was important for us and we it was perfect. I never needed to contact the property owners for any issues. We ran out of towels on day 2 but there was a washer n dryer on the same floor, so that was convenient. The pictures of the kitchen look outdated-but the kitchen was nice and all the things we needed were available, including beach chairs, binoculars, cooler and much more.

Painter tape left on floor, vertical blinds are missing some panes and do not draw. They need replacing. Key cards were not in room, had to call for them. Shower could use a safety bar.

When I say this was the most enjoyable stay we’ve had together I am not exaggerating! The views are amazing, even on rainy mornings we got to see rainbows! The waves crashing below will put you to sleep! The bed was so comfy after long days of wandering around Maui. The fully equipped kitchen was a plus! The shower is AMAZING! We will definitely be back!

Our overall experience was very good. The condo itself was very comfortable and relaxing. The complex itself was a bit dated but I knew that going in. The washers didn’t always work nor the change machine but things happen. The pool was a bit small but considering we were in Hawaii, it didn’t matter. The grills and outside kitchen were spotless and very relaxing. Our family enjoyed it very well.

We love staying at the Maui Kai, right on the ocean and a brief stroll from a grocery store and Java Jazz, a relaxed restaurant with wonderful food. 308 had awesome views, and we sat in the comfortable leather chairs “supervising” the waves for many happy hours. The unit was clean, airy, and everything we needed for our vacation.

The condo is very nice. It is nicely furnished, and the glass doors and windows afford great views of the water. The doors can be opened, but there is no air flow because the side door and window are locked.(?) Comfortable bed. The property, however, is another story. It is nicely kept, but is tired and dated. There is no beach, no grounds in which to relax, no fitness room, and an old pool surrounded by a wooden fence and a few plantings. One can walk to the beach next door, but the stairs are tricky--one must step down onto large boulders at the bottom. If you are just looking for a nice place to sleep, this place fills the bill. It certainly doesn't have the "resort feel".

Great spot to hit the local beach early or walk the ocean walkway for 4 miles and check out all the resorts and restaurants. Perfect for 2 adults. A beach umbrella would make it perfect.

We loved the beautiful large sliding windows literally right on the water. The sound of the waves was truly amazing inside the condo. Both beds were very comfortable. Right on the beach and close to really nice shops and restaurants.
