Absolutely beautiful views from the lanai. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the building. Building is a bit outdated but worked for our stay. We enjoyed the facilities and our stay!

We loved the location and the local staff quickly worked on the broken running toilet. They also brought a new hair dryer since the old one did not work. Smooth access and insturctions for parking and door access. Great to text for more information and to ask questions.

Great location, wonderful lanai with ocean view. Condo is older. Dishwasher hardly works, you basically have to wash the dishes before you put them in or they won’t be clean. Some dishes were dirty when we arrived. Oven and microwave have issues. Fridge, washer and dryer all work fine. Second bedroom is quite small. Would definitely stay here again just for the lanai, the view and the sound of the ocean!!

This condo has the best view. It is comfortable and has everything you need. As many places on an island it is slightly dated but this should not matter. I would stay there again for sure!

As my beloved partner and our two young prodigies embarked upon the premises, an amusing realization washed over me—I couldn't help but feel like we had unwittingly stepped into a whimsical Cheech and Chong movie! The air was pervaded with a distinct scent, an homage to the herbaceous inspirations of the duo themselves. Oh, and the sight that beheld us! It was as if we had stumbled upon an apocalyptic wonderland, a surreal setting that begged to be part of some offbeat artistic exhibition. The dishes, oh, the dishes! They displayed an impressive culinary archaeological record, showcasing the journey of various meals left forgotten, and the steak knives had seemingly developed a personality of their own, adorned with a generous amount of food buildup. And the carpets, my dear friends, were indeed a testament to the passage of time and the multitude of sojourners that had traversed them. We couldn't help but imagine the potential growth of a foot fungus collection, a souvenir we had no intention of bringing home. Yet, amidst this eccentricity, the view outside was nothing short of awe-inspiring, an ironic contrast that tickled our intellect. We marveled at the irony of our situation—standing amidst such eccentricity and witnessing a view of beauty that rendered us momentarily conflicted.

physical condition and cleanliness was ok. Bath tub in guest bath had mold in corners. Kitchen pots, pans, cooking utensils, flatware, dishes and glasses were generally very dirty most with food crusted on them. All had to be washed before using. When initially reported the response was "sorry things were not clear". No other follow up. we have stayed in this unit 3 times over the past 5 years and we have historically liked everything about it. this stay has made us rethink things and especially the response from vacasa

Loved the view and the deck. Property as described. 2nd bedroom very small. Minimal dishes and glasses. Really all about location, view and washer and dryer

Location was great, waves and ocean in the back and da poke shack out front. But condo overall very dated. A lot of wall switches did nothing. Some plugs didn’t work. It wasn’t very clean either. Location and overall building nice but…

La vue de la terrasse était juste magique, l’appartement est bien équipé bien qu’un peu vétustes, la seconde chambre donnant sur Ali Drive était assez sombre et un peu bruyante, le mobilier de serait à renouveler pour que tout soit parfait.

It was right by the water, great experience to sit by the water, lot of chairs are available (seems to be maintained by property). You can spend hours sitting there. Great sunsets everyday from the balcony or the by the ocean just below the property. House itself seems bit dated, even though they have upgraded the kitchen, bathrooms and common area tiles It still feels bit dark and stuffy. Small room really needs some facelift, it feels dingy. Master bedroom is pretty good. Overall it is a great location, there are two small convenience stores at walking distance, bigger groceries and walmart within 3-4 miles. (KTA superstore is better than walmart). Things were clean, utensils and all was adequete, can keep some more supplies (extra soap, coffee bag etc (minor)), small guide book or something that gives things to do for people visiting for first time and on short stay.

Loved it! Everything was great! Morning coffee out on balcony, sunset dinners on balcony. Beds were comfortable. Easy check in. I watch the tide pool from the balcony and see fish and turtles!

The grounds were well maintained. There is a natural rock out cropping in front that creates some amazing tide pools. The view is stunning.

Everything was wonderful and the view was outstanding, however there are a few things that could be addressed. 1. Sliding doors were hard to open/close. Just needs some waxing on tails. 2. Fans, light fixtures and ceiling near them needs cleaned

The view from the lanai is to die for, you are right on the ocean. Kitchen and bathrooms are recently updated and are very nice. Other reviewers were spot on about the uncomfortable bed. After the the first night we went out and purchased a new 3" queen memory foam mattress topper for the bed from Costco which solved the problem. Hopefully the owners management leave it there. We enjoyed sleeping with the sound of waves crashing on the rocks, if that is not for you do not rent this unit as there is no AC and you need to leave the windows open to be comfortable. Also agreed with other reviewers that it is ridiculous there is not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. The owners management should consider leaving non perishable spices in the kitchen. Their policy seems to be cleaning everything out of the kitchen cabinets between tenants. Also lacking are basic beach supplies: there is no ice chest, although there is blue ice in the freezer, and only one beach chair. We also purchased an additional beach chair and left it there. The swimming pool is in a courtyard surrounded by units and only receives sun in the middle of the day. The onsite management for the complex seems to have a somewhat adversarial attitude in our opinion. Still overall a good value for the price point.

As always, the view from an ocean front apartment in Kona Bali Kai is unbeatable! The unit 319 definitely needs some overdue TLC. But I do have to say that all the immediate issues (dirty towels, moldy shower curtain, screen door) were rectified/fixed immediate after we notified Vacasa. Would definitely come back and stay in the unit 319 after additional renovations and updates completed.

The condo was very run down. Overall, expected more based on the listing. The really good point was seeing a turtle sunni g himself on the rocks.

Can’t beat the ocean and sunset views. Saw turtles every day in the tide pools below. Beautiful condo, had everything we needed. Love the counter tops and cabinets! So convenient to have a washer and dryer in the condo.
