The view is absolutely amazing. We had beautiful sunsets. The bed is very comfortable. Sleeping with the sound of the waves all week and having coffee or eat on the balcony was wonderful. But the carpet really needs to be removed and the kitchen should be a little more equipped and contain basic condiments like salt and pepper. Still a wonderful week!!!

No frills with this price and it’s fine, a lot of regulars that come back every year though they always stay in the same units. We have been many times over the years and definitely can see the difference from unit to unit. Pool, BBQs, and property was very well maintained.

This is a sweet little place, very quiet except for the roaring waves. The balcony with the view is the best part. And the beds are very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by this darling place.

Vacasa allowed early check in which was very much appreciated. Very comfy bed. Pool floaties abd beach chairs/towels also included. Amazing view, especially during sunrise. Great pool, hot tub and beach access. Highly recommended.

This condo was clean and had a great view. Loved being able to open the sliders and see & hear the ocean. It had a nice kitchen and A/C. I appreciated that it had plenty hangers & drawers to unpack your clothes/toiletries. It is small, but was good for my husband and me. Not sure you'd want more than 2 people staying there. The complex was nice and pretty quiet. The grounds were pretty - loved lounging on the lawn watching the waves. I would stay there again.

A great location where you can walk the beach for hours without any buildings around. But if you want shaved ice (or an ABC store or ATM) it is only a 5-8 minute walk away. The co do is really well appointed with personal touches. Roomy enough for 3-4 without feeling squeezed. And it is definitely a bonus to have washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Had a long weekend before our family joined us and we moved further south. Condo is exactly as described, and the view is perfect. We saw plenty of whale action with our morning coffee, even at this early point in the season. Our only comment is that the provided cookware (skillet) was not appropriate for the glass-surface induction cooktop - it left a visible scratch when we used it. Thank goodness for the Vacasa insurance, but we felt absolutely awful! The property manager was so great, and the process of reporting and resolving the damage was very professionally and smoothly handled. We would love to stay here again!

Condo had a great view for sunsets, nice long walks on the beach, was fairly clean and comfy bed.
Cons: no extras (condiments, spices, chairs, beach stuff etc), check out time was 10am which is pretty early for people who have a late flight. They wouldn’t allow a later check out - and the cleaners were there before 10 for cleaning. Some items were dirty like vents etc, didn’t feel super clean. Chairs were all uncomfortable. Bed in the room was comfortable, but thin pillows. Pull out bed only ok for small child. Beach wasn’t great swimming but great walking.
Overall I would stay again, certainly not a 5 star stay but ok for average folk.

It was really nice. Property clean and spacious for a couple. Bed very comfortable. Shower was great. Living room was nice as well. Lanai - Amazing View !!!
Not a fancy place but it was still perfect for us and for the price on Maui. Only down side was very windy property area. Always too windy for my liking. Therefore can’t really lay at beach bc sand all over face and body. I found out it was an area of trade winds. Mahalo !!!!!!

Gorgeous view, close to everything. The hood over the range is low for someone tall. Watch that you don’t hit your head.

Although the property was beautifully located and had many kitchen needs it lacked the basics like salt & pepper. There were only 3 laundry and 3 dishwasher pods, 4 rolls of toilet paper and 1 small roll paper towel for two adults for 10 days. We travelled with 3 other groups who stayed at Sugar Beach Resort as well and their properties had far more amenities. Snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach umbrella, beach chairs plus large amounts of toilet paper laundry pods etc. The bed was very comfortable but the living room furniture was hard and had seen better days.
I had emailed the property manager to get an idea of what we needed but did not receive that information.
We loved Sugar Beach Resort. The grounds were immaculate as was the pool & hot tub. The staff at the office & rental shop were very helpful and we really enjoyed Dina's Sand Witch Shop!
The beach was beautiful as were the beautiful sunsets!
I would recommend the other properties before 423.
It had the location but not the amenities for a higher price than the 3 other properties.

Great location with easy access for us to check in late. Could not ask for a better location if you are seeking a beach front ocean front property with minimal traffic as you look out from the lanai. Kitchen amenities and laundry access was a huge bonus for us but wish the wifi signal was a bit stronger since we had trouble connecting from the bedroom.

Good location about 1.5 miles from the shops and restaurants of Kihei. Great amenities including: large pool and spa, lawn area with lounge chairs overlooking the beach, nice sandy beach good for walking and swimming, covered parking with two clean and quick elevators. There is a beautiful view from the living room, remodeled kitchen and balcony.

Other than the glass hood over the stove that we kept hitting our heads on (as others have commented) we had a wonderful stay here, and are already looking into dates for next year. You can’t beat the view. Unit has everything you need. Resort is wonderful - less crowded, great snorkeling, beautiful beach. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful view! Location is perfect for enjoying Maui. King bed is comfy. Sleeper sofa is ok for 1 person. Kitchen is equipped for quick meals while watching sea turtles feeding in kelp beds. We’d love to come back.
