Hale Kamaole is a South Maui condominium complex located across the street from Kamaole Beach Park III, one of the most popular, family-friendly, and lifeguarded beaches on Maui. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from your private lanai or head to the beach for a romantic evening stroll along the shoreline under a canopy of starlight. These spacious rentals, set in beautifully landscaped grounds, are an ideal setting for a relaxing sun-soaked vacation. Catch some rays next to one of two pools on the property, choose to play some tennis at the on-site tennis court, or toss a Frisbee around on the sprawling grass lawns. All condos also have free WiFi access. The outdoor barbeque areas are a must for grilling the perfect dinner, and you'll love indulging in a night out at a large selection of nearby restaurants in Kihei or Wailea. Also choose to shop at a variety of stores located along South Kihei Rd or at the boutiques showcased at the Shops at Wailea. Hale Kamaole is close to great shopping, popular Maui golf courses, and fantastic snorkel beaches. Here, warm aloha awaits families and couples alike.

We spent 10 days at this unit and it was very comfortable for six adults. It is clean, quiet and spacious enough we didn't feel cramped at all. The only complaint I heard was some of the power outlets did not seem to be functioning well enough to charge up some of the electronic devices. A very minor issue during an otherwise great stay!

This complex is the best!! Right across from kam III where fantastic sunsets are guaranteed. The new 3 paneled sliding glass doors that open wide were a plus. Lawns/grounds and pool at the complex are fun and well maintained. Nice chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Appreciated the welcome bag with coffee and cookies.

It would be a 5* rating if a few things were updated. Floors are cracked. Walls are dirty in doors and need painting. Upstairs foldout legs are broken. Upstairs master bathroom doorknob is broken. I had to screw it back in. But other than that. We love the location and safety. No view of the ocean but very convenient location and fair price.

Hale Kamaole is a fantastic location right across from a beautiful beach and walking distance to shops and boardwalks etc. The place 335 is very 'aged' unfortunately and the pull out couch we had to use both couches mattesses on the floor and even then the couple who had their 4 nights on them did not sleep, they need to be replaced. The upstairs master bed mattress needs to be replaced as it's so so soft and indented our backs went out. Downstairs bed seemed good and comfy though. The owners need to go through and update this place replace the filthy carpets and broken tiles and ripped carpet on deck, as well, go through and get some more basics like wash towels and drying towels for kitchen, and put in some cleaning clothes and cleaning stuff under sinks so unit can be kept clean during a 2 week stay, and help with upkeep that way. On the upside, vacasa was wonderful at getting everything we needed like face clothes, and we really needed beach towels and umbrellas as 60+ we can't sit on beach without chairs... they also got a box of forks and knives and spoons as there were very few not enough for even 6 people, and big cups. This unit REALLY needs some good knives and throw out the chiped dull knife set here. Vacasa did everything to make our stay great. The pool was fantastic and clean, we played pickleball on the tennis court just below us, and watched beautiful sunsets from just across the road at the beach. Nice to have 6 chairs at kitchen table, would be nice to have 6 on deck as well. Location was fantastic... just do some upgrading of unit and re-stock and we'd come back here.

This location is perfect! Everything about this house was amazing. Easy to access and has an elevator right near by making it accessible as well. The property managers were great and super responsive. They helped explain everything and were quick to help. The air conditioners were amazing. The bathrooms were perfect. Beach toys and boogie board made for fun beach outings. The beach that was walking distance felt like a private beach. Tons of great food choices near by. I would 100 percent stay here again.

Location and property were amazing. Even had a view of the sunset when we went in February, it was a bit obstructed but visible. Some basics we usually find like salt, pepper and basic spices were missing and some of the pans could use an upgrade due to being scorched or non-stick coming off but wasn't a huge hinderance. Overall I'd stay again for sure and loved its proximity to the beach and good food!

The air conditioners in both rooms worked well and they had a great supply of towels, beach chairs, dishes, books and bedding. 4 total beds, 2 pull out and 2 queens (the upstairs queen bed needs to be repaired, the box spring falls off the frame) The property has a small warm pool but the real appeal is that you're an minute walk from a small private-feeling beach (it's public, but it's secluded so we had it to ourselves). At this beach we saw a big sea turtle from about 3 feet away and a group of Manta Rays. There were also fish, so you can snorkel right from the very close beach. The TVs had good cable, but the remote for the upstairs TV didn't work. I had to hook up my laptop. The wifi was very strong and consistent The area had multiple food options in waking distance and plenty in a short drive. It's not in the busy resort area, so it has a more laid back cool vibe. I want to visit again next year and I'll definitely be looking to see if this unit is available

Clean, well kept place. Nice park and beach across the road. Walking distance to restaurants, water sports rentals and markets. Sofa beds need upgrades, but everything else is well maintained.
