The apartment is as described. There is nothing to complain about. The possibility of using the public grills as well as the pool and hot tub is excellent. We would book this accommodation again and again.

We were very satisfied with our room, it was a couple of steps from the beach and to shops and restaurants. The grounds were beautiful and quiet. I was surprised that there were plates, cups, mugs and a toaster, we did have to purchase silverware but not a big deal. The beach chairs came in handy as well as the cooler. Great price for what we got, I would highly recommend this room we had a wonderful stay.

Great roo and property. Clean and great landscaping. Great location. We traveled with teenagers and wish there were some yard games for them.

This is an adequate place to stay. The room is small and there is no ability to cook other than the microwave. There is a refrigerator but no freezer. The bathtub took a long time to drain after use. But....it is close to the beach and a nice ABC store and it is ideally located to explore the island.

Service was good and the maintenance man was wonderful as he showed me how to run the air conditioner and remote. The new chairs were also a plug-in the lanai. The ocean was in walking vicinity along with all the unique shops nearby for food and gifts!

The place itswas very clean and nice. My only issue was it wasn't communicated clearly that the room is supplied with a limited amount of toiletries. We ran out of toilet paper and they would not replenish anything. We were told to go buy our own. That is not something you want hear when you are on vacation. Also the room was missing a DVD player. We had the remote but no player. I let vacasa know it was missing so I wouldn't be charged for it. They responded quickly but for the 7 nights we were there the DVD player was never replaced. Other than those two issues our stay was very nice.

This was really a great find. Perfect location to see the whole island and very clean and quiet. Sweet welcoming gift, beach chairs, and cooler were all added perks. Plenty of towels and beach towels. Walking distance (2 minutes) to lots of shops and food at the Coconut Market Place. We had a small glitch with the door code one day. I called the management company, and the problem was fixed in about one minute. I would highly recommend this property.

Location was great (Kapa’a/Wailua). The place was clean; had a cooler and beach towels which was a nice surprise. Had a lovely welcome gift, too. 500 steps from the beach. Beautiful sunrise every morning.

Everything we needed at a great central location. Appreciated the beach gear. Steps away the beach to watch sunrise and some great restaurants for dinner. Of course there are newer and fancier properties but this has everything we need and the unit was clean and appears to be well managed.

Our stay at the Islander was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable and the owners provided many extras such as a treats, beach towels, cooler, beach chairs, toaster and hair dryer. The walk to the beach was short and we watched the sunrise from there several mornings. We were next to Lava Lava Beach house which was super convenient for a meal or drink. We would stay here again.

Well maintained community. It is conveniently located right next to coconut marketplace, has pool access and right next to the beach. Towel replenishment 3x a week which is convenient for pool and beach use. Be aware it only has one electric socket for laptop or cell phone charging. Place is a bit outdated but decent. Four stars for two things: front door is facing lava lava beach club and property next door. Didn’t see this disclosed in the listing. There is Sysco food delivery almost everyday before 7 and not convenient for any light sleepers. Front door also have a very small opening which makes it easy for bugs or cockroach to get in (one made it inside the room). Wood dresser, under bed storage and closet needs some updating. It has old wood smell that sticks to clothes.

Everything was clean and nice. Centrally located to both sides of island. More reasonably priced than North Shore. It was convenient that the service had 2 chair, cooler and beach towels in the unit and laundry exchange. It also had a frig, microwave, coffee pot and toaster and pool side grills. We limited ourselves eating out once a day if u go early u can take advantage of happy hour lunch menus and drink specials. Waimea Canyon drive and NaPali Coast boat tour is a must!

Place very clean, right next to coconut market place (plaza with restaurants and a grocery store.) Small pool(pool bar was cool) but right next to the beach. We didn't stay that much in the hotel we didn't really explore much and 10mins away from the Lihue airport.

I understand when things have to be done, but for 2 days at the end of our stay there was a small track hoe that was removing the hedge that was right outside our front door. Annoying to say the least. Otherwise beautiful place. I hope they install a fence for privacy.Thank you!

Great location next to a beach and a plaza where you can get groceries and coffee. Site management does not provide extra toiletries which was a surprise. You'll have to contact the owners directly. Other than that the place is a nice small temporary home base.

Truthfully, I would of given this place five stars, but there is NO daily cleaning of the room and they even want you to wash the dishes and put them away. I’m on vacation!

The condo is a studio and, therefore, small. That said, it has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. Everything works. It is convenient to the airport, but the planes don’t fly over. The unit does not have a sea view or pool view, but the grounds are pleasant to see and the pool and beach are in the resort and a 1 minute walk from the unit. It is equidistant from either end of the island (important because traffic can be very slow). There are restaurants and shopping within a short walk.

It's a great location, easy to access, clean and quiet. Description is accurate . The coffeemaker is a keurig. The pool and hot tub were pretty crowded when we were there. Beds are very comfortable. Had a good time!

Kind of strange topic maybe, but when you’re have 4 grown humans in a room, you need bath towels, and more than just 4. There are no washer/dryer in this unit, and no access to the grounds laundry room. And no room service, ie cleaning, towel replenishing, etc. we needed towels.

Room was smaller than photo showed. Full sized beds, expected Queens. Room was not cleaned upon check-in; however, management company stepped up and provided a nice replacement for 2 days to solve the problem. Life happens and they turned it around with. Credit, food gift certificates and welcome produce gifts. Very appreciated!

Great location - basic room, basic pool, hot tub, and pool bar. If you're not planning to be in the room a lot and on a budget, this is a great option. The room was clean, had a nice welcome package, and really had everything that we wanted or needed other than extra space. It more along the lines of a hotel room with a small kitchen area that includes a sink, mini frig, microwave, coffee pot, etc. The location is really perfect. We never felt unsafe walking to and from, the parking was easy, and the grounds were very well taken care maintained. It's super easy to access the island from this location. There are also several restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We loved it and would definitely stay again.

Place was clean, right next to the beach and all the markets you need. Conveniently located in the middle of the island to visit the south and north end, fairly same distance. I would book again in a heart beat!! (AC worked great!)
