Our unit is located across from the pool so easy access for kids. Our home is your home away from home with all the basics in the pantry. We personally respond quickly to your requests and have a on island contact and cleaner if you need anything locally.

The Palms is a stunning mediterranean - like property that is incredibly maintained and the landscaping makes you feel like you are in a five star resort that the Lanais overlook. We love being able to run out our front door and along the beaches only 7 mins away! The Sunsets are the best on the Island as the picture is framed with Palms trees and the sun sets longer over Lanai and throws the clouds with all shades of colors. We take our lawn chairs and sundowners and sit every night on the lawn to catch these.

The Palms at Wailea is located close to popular beaches, three championship golf courses, and a world-class tennis center. On hillside, this resort has Mediterranean-style buildings with canopies. Just down from the lobby is a sun deck containing a whale shaped pool and hot tub. The lushly landscaped grounds feature a sparkling stream, winding walkways and a refreshing swimming pool and spa. Close by is a renowned tennis club and three championship golf courses plus first class shopping.

Wailea is known for its five beautiful, crescent-shaped beaches and stellar golf courses, Wailea is a luxurious resort community in South Maui that spans 1,500 acres of land with staggering ocean views. The area exudes a sense of privacy, serenity and freedom spread across an area three times the size of Waikiki.

The area’s signature beaches include Wailea Beach, named “America’s Best Beach” in 1999, Polo Beach, with excellent swimming and snorkeling, and Ulua Beach Park, where early morning and sunset walkers and joggers abound. The Wailea Blue, Wailea Gold and Wailea Emerald courses make up the 54 holes of championship golf that have made Wailea so famous.

Drive south about 6 miles down the coast and you’ll reach Ahihi-Kinau Natural Area Reserve, which boasts a renowned snorkeling area and coastal lava field. Or continue for a couple more miles and you’ll come to La Perouse Bay, where lava from Maui's last eruption flowed into the sea. The site has some nice hiking trails, including the Hoapili Trail, which winds its way along the coast through some shade and then strikes inland over the lava fields to Kanaio Beach 2 to 2.5 miles away.

Back in town, The Shops at Wailea is a destination in itself, featuring world-class restaurants and shops, along with regular entertainment programs. Wailea is also home to events such as the Maui Film Festival, February’s Whale Week, as well as award-winning restaurants serving the best of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. The apartments are wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. There is everything you need including a barbecue grill. The living room with two sofas and a view of the garden was unforgettable. But the most important thing for us is the beach. Incredible sunsets. Snorkeling with turtles every day. We saw Whales jumping out of the water wow wow wow. There is no doubt that the Dowell family apartments are the right choice.

Truly a spectacular property! Located on the best part of the island (IMHO) considering weather and amenities. Just close enough to everything to be convenient, but far enough away to be calm and serene. The condo complex is wonderful, with a great recreation area that is more than just a pool and hot tub. My wife and I spent our anniversary sunset in a tower that elevates you above the pool area enough to clearly see the entire sunset. You can see the sunset from the pool area but the tower was a great touch. The condo itself is very, very, very nice! I’ve been to Hawaii 7 times and this is by far the nicest condo I have stayed in anywhere close to this price point. A great deal on a great property. Thank you!!

Beautifully decorated and furnished condo. We really appreciated the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. Bedding was extremely comfortable. Plenty of utensils and cookware. We ate all our meals on the lanai. Only criticism is that the lounge chairs did not have cushions. Would definitely go back!

Our family had a lovely and relaxing stay. The home is updated, fresh and well laid out. The bed was very comfortable and our 2 teenage sons slept well on the 2 pull out couches. We really enjoyed the The indoor / outdoor living and had everything we needed to cook, grill, do laundry, and chill. The home is a quick walk to and all but calm and beautifully landscaped pool. We walked and drove to the beach and both were quick and convenient. Sunsets are gorgeous. We really liked being on that stretch of Keawakapu as less people but with easy access to shops and resorts at Wailea. Despite the quiet hours there were a couple nights that neighbors were very loud late but that can happen at any similarly constructed community and we didn’t want to close windows and doors or request keeping the noise down so that’s on us. We had a thoroughly wonderful vacation and would absolutely return!

This property is well worth it. Lovely remodel, super efficient. Very private, quiet and the location is great. The only thing that might be a challenge is having guests sleep on the sofa sleepers because the main living space does not have AC, and is difficult to get cooled down..nice with the doors open, but screens do not lock.

We loved staying here. We had 4 teenagers sleeping on the sofa beds and they were very comfortable. The condo had everything we needed and a great location. We drove to the beach closest to the condo with our beach gear. The condo was comfortable even without air conditioning. My children are older and were fine leaving the screen doors open at night. We can’t wait to come back!
