Absolutely gorgeous view and property grounds. Very convenient to lots of great food and easy drive to other parts of the island. Unit could be upgraded a bit. Specifically cushions on both living room and on lanai furniture sink in the middle and need cleaning. Most decorations lovely tropical but probably need replacing due to age. Nice and clean.

The grounds are beautiful, as is the condo we stayed in. We had a stunning view of the ocean, which we enjoyed from our deck overlooking the pool and grounds. Everything was absolutely lovely! The bed is comfortable, both air conditioning units worked wonderfully in both the living room and the bedroom. They were so appreciated when the offshore hurricane made it too windy to leave the windows open.
Our only complaint, which is very small, is that there are only four plates and four dinner forks in the kitchen. There are plenty of cups, glasses, spoons and knives, but having only a limited number of plates and forks became a daily annoyance. We hand washed the forks and bought paper plates so we didn't have to run an almost empty dishwasher every day. This is a luxury condo, and we felt having an adequate supply of dishes should be expected.

We absolutely loved our stay in Kauai!! The condo was PERFECT for us! We appreciated having A/C in the main living room and a separate A/C for the bedroom. The weather was beautiful but it is humid. Being on the East Shore is super convenient. We ate several times next door at Lava Lava! Food, drinks and service were top-notch with live entertainment daily (though ends at 9:00). Kauai is unbelievably gorgeous, with an abundance of beautiful landscape and birds. If nightlife is important to you-Kauai may not be the place for you. Things close up @9/10. We didn't care because our days were so full! One recommendation to anyone: Get the "Revealed Kauai" app!! I truly can not recommend enough. It is GPS guided and it was like we had our own personal tour guide in our car!! FULL of interesting information as well as restaurant and shopping recommendations. We used in addition to the book. We cancelled several tours I had booked once we realized how comprehensive the app was! We could go at our own pace-seeing what was important to us. The condo was a perfect place to come home and wake up to every day!!! We WILL be back!

We loved the property outside. It was well maintained and our condominium has a great view of the pool and ocean. All amenities were great in the condo. The only negative thing I have to say is the cleanliness of the condo. It appeared only the bed was changed and dishes done. There was a ton of dust and the floor was not swept. I’m not sure what cleaning company is being used but I would re evaluate using them for sure. All in all I would book it again.

This condo was exactly what we needed for a week in Kauai. It is a great location. We did not need to drive far to get to Poipu in the south or Princeville in the north. The lanai gives you a great view of the ocean, allowing you to listen to the waves crashing as you enjoy your morning coffee or a cocktail in the evening. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool is very nice. And the community is very quiet. The Property manager of the condo was very responsive with my questions better our trip. We couldnt have asked for a better experience.

My stay was even better than imagined. You really are very close to the ocean and it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. It was so nice that my mom and I chose to spend most of our time on the patio listening to the birds and waves. We even saw a few cardinals!
At night, we really enjoyed seeing the stars and the pool, which was softly lit in a beautiful blue tone. The pool light shuts off around 10pm, and that's when you can really see the stars.
Kauai is known for its beauty, so choosing to spend quite a bit of time here says a lot. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
We plan to stay here again very soon!

We had issues accessing the property due to an incorrect code, which took a while to resolve with the property owner. The accommodation was lovely with an outstanding view, walking distance to shops and restaurants - a huge bonus. Some areas of the property were dusty and the lanai hadn't been cleaned. Overall, the quality of the furnishings, etc was outstanding. Although this was low season there was an extremely high number of families on resort with noisy, badly behaved children particularly in the pool. Owners we spoke to were shocked at the number of children and their behaviour. In spite of this we thoroughly enjoyed our week on Kaua'i.

We have been vacationing at Lae Nani for over 30 years. Amber’s condo is one of the best units. It is nicely styled, well stocked kitchen, plenty of beach toys, clean and A/C.
The lanai view is outstanding! We were given a local contact number, if needed.
Only recommendations I have is the replacement of the of the beach chairs and bedroom pillows. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Located on the third floor of the Lae Nani condo complex, this unit is very nicely furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen. This area of the Kauai Island is our favorite, and we would totally recommend this condo unit.

Daniel out host was superb extremely responsive to any issues and very accommodating to any requests or issues that occurred. To improve on the space we would suggest improving the quality of the mattresses and bedding and to have some form of cupboard in the second bedroom or at least hooks in the hallway for coats. Other than these minor issues the space is amazing - huge area for kitchen and for hanging out and the view of course is exceptional with very easy access to the best parts of Tel Aviv. For those who have difficulty with stairs be forewarned that their is no elevator and heavy suitcases may be an issue up the many flights of stairs. Thanks or providing an excellent space .

Generally, our stay was great. A plumbing leak was taken care of promptly. I found that, as opposed to many stays years earlier, that the general public was allowed to use the grounds -- even the pool. I don't think management was aware of this since it occurred over the holidays when the office was closed. In any case, our stay was great and we would return.

We love the location and the facility because it is quiet and the people are overall very friendly.
The unit had a sliding door screen that was really hard to open and close. It was as if there was no wheels on it.
The portable air conditioner did cool the bedroom but it didn't cool the rest of the unit. The A/C exhaust fan was piped out the window and the hot air just came back in through the louvered glass window above it. We didn't use it because it didn't make sense to circulate the hot air.
Not all the window worked and the screens were a bit bent open and dirty.

The complex is really nice and quiet. The pool was incredible - great temperature and felt super clean. Don't miss the Tues/Thurs farmer's market in nearby Coconut Marketplace - the best!

This unit has everything you need for vacationing in Kauai. What I loved the best was the view from the lanai, living room and kitchen. It overlooks the beautiful pool and grounds, with the ocean and mountains in the background. A great beach is steps away as well as restaurants and shopping. The location is perfect for those planning to travel around the island. The condo is gated and #231 had incredible views of the ocean. The complex was quiet and had all the amenities you could need. The room also came with beach/snorkeling gear so we didn't have to rent it. Overall, it was a great homebase for our honeymoon.

Our trip got off to a rocky start due to a miscommunication between the care taker of the property and the property manager (the property manager does not live on the island), we received the wrong information which caused us to not be able to get into the room. However, once we got that sorted out it was quickly forgotten due the property being such an amazing find. The view from the room is unreal and the property grounds are absolutely amazing from the lush landscaping to the well kept amenities. The condo itself could use a little love but it is in great shape and any negatives I could tell you about are easily overshadowed by the excellence of the property. I do however need to mention that the internet bandwidth provided is not sufficient for any sort of remote working (I tested it multiple times during our week stay and was only getting 3MB/s down and less than 1MB/s up) so think twice if you know you will need a solid internet connection for work.
I wouldn't say I am well traveled but one thing that I always hate about travelling is 9/10 of the showers I use just suck. They get the job done but it is usually a terrible experience from low water pressure to it being just big enough to turn around in and in some cases just disgusting. The shower in this condo is 10/10! It is huge (more than enough room for 2), has great water pressure, has a little bench for sitting and has one of those awesome double shower heads with all the different setting on the detachable part. Not sure why this is not pictured in the ad but it really should be, it was an absolute pleasure taking a shower.
The beach is really cool, if you're not much of a swimmer the beach has a really neat "pool" that was created in the ocean with lava rocks so you can feel completely safe taking a dip in the ocean without having to deal with the waves. The condo also had a little closet on the lanai with pretty much every piece of beach equipment you could possibly want.
There are many food places and a market within walking distance, the hotel next door also has an oceanfront restaurant/bar with nightly entertainment. I would have been perfectly happy just staying near the property the whole trip but the other excellent part of choosing this property is it is centrally located between both the south and the north making it a perfect "home base" from which to explore.
If you are lucky enough to find availability for this little gem do not hesitate to book it.

The property is as good if not better than the pictures indicate. End unit gives a feeling of open space and with Building 1 only two stories this third floor condo has more of a feeling of privacy that is somewhat unique. Very clean and well appointed and the communication with Bernadette and Amber was exceptional. The proximity to the pool and beach was exactly what we had in mind. Easy walk to Coconut Marketplace and a short drive to Safeway and onto Kapaa (have to try Kountry Kitchen) makes this a perfect location.

This VRBO is very beautiful, the photos don't do it justice!
It's in a great location, right next door to the Coconut Marketplace where there is an ABC store and multiple restaurants and shops.
The VRBO was well stocked with towels, beach towels and we were pleasantly surprised by all the items in the porch closet for us to use including a beach bag, cooler, boogie board, snorkel, fins and a beach umbrella.
We did reach out to the host, Amber, prior to reserving our stay to ask more details about what was at the VRBO so we could pack accordingly. Our understanding was that she manages the property but had not been there herself. We did get the check in instructions a month out from our trip and they were easy to follow. I did reach out to Amber twice during our stay with questions via the VRBO app but never got a response.
We never used the pool during our stay but it looked well maintained and there were always people swimming.
The beach is a little rocky but still swimmable. We saw lots of kite surfers there as well.
The grounds of the property are beautiful as well and staying on the east side of the island was very convenient for all our plans. Overall, we would definitely stay at this location again!

This is a lovely condo in a great location and is a good value. Its beautifully decorated, the bed is insanely comfortable, as is the furniture. The view from the lanai is gorgeous. It has easy access to the pool, beach and the lovely grounds. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and a great farmer's market. It was great to walk right over to Lava Lava Beach Club. It is fairly quiet. Our stay, however, was complicated by the last-minute sale of this condo days prior to our arrival. This caused me a little bit of extra stress during our trip prep. The new owners agreed to honor all the terms of our original rental agreement, which they did. Even though, the issues we did have were resolved, I feel they are worth noting.
First, when we arrived, after dark, the condo was completely dark. Upon entering, we quickly noticed that the condo had not been completely cleaned and prepared for our arrival. As it was late, and we were so tired from a long day of travel we let it go and went to bed. A quick message to the property manager, resulted in our cleaning fee being promptly refunded. Very appreciated. I guess there was a miscommunication on their part. Things do happen so we shrugged it off. I think for future trips I will verify everything a day or so before arrival.
The condo was generally well stocked. We even found some spices. Lots of pretty glassware and dishes, along with insulated mugs to take to the pool. We did find a few things lacking. There is no dish sponge provided, and I would have appreciated a good fry pan or griddle. Also, understand that you are only allowed 2 sets of towels per person. This was kind of a deal for us as we stayed 12 nights and had not planned on doing any laundry this trip, let alone the condo's towels in the coin op laundry, with no detergent supplied. After a lengthy e mail back and forth with the manager, we finally were able to get some clean towels mid stay. I appreciated the resolution, but it took a lot of effort to get there. Apparently, they are afraid if they allow too many towels, guests will leave them in a damp, mildewy pile. Hmm. Overall, it was a very nice stay, even with the hiccups that were resolved to our satisfaction. The only reason I would not stay again, is I have learned that being able to do laundry in my condo is a bigger deal than I realized, especially when towels are in short supply.

The property was just as advertised--comfortable and well-equipped with a fantastic view from the deck and dining room and easy access to the property's amenities (pool, beach, laundry room, etc.) and everything Kauai has to offer. Kapa'a is a perfect place to stay no matter what direction you want to drive for sightseeing and activities (and food and drink--you can't forget that). An added bonus was having the Lava Lava Beach Club just a few steps away (tasty food and wonderful Mai Tais, and you're allowed to have more than one--you're walking, remember). We had a great week on Kauai!

Great condo in central location only a few minutes from the Lihue airport allows easy commute to the North Shore, Poipu or Waimea.. Well equipped, with excellent ocean/pool views. Beware!! We were happy with the unit until we returned home and was told the wood floor was warped and they would be keeping our damage deposit.
We were very careful to take care of the unit and noticed no floor damage. There was never any standing water or spill on the floor. The weather was rainy and 90% humidity but we never saw any damage from water.

We booked this trip to celebrate our 10 year anniversary of being married here in Kauai and this place was perfect for us! Especially since adding a 18 month old to our family. Perfect beach for those with young families, view is amazing from the unit and the condo was supplied with all beach necessities like umbrellas, beach chairs, cooler and boogie boards. Stephen was even kind enough to make sure we had a pack n’ play for our daughter to sleep in. Super amazing time at this condo and would definitely book again!
