BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Host is not liable for any loss or damage to Tenants’ personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control. Tenants accept that the cable and internet service at the Rental can be sporadic and unreliable at times, and Tenant shall not be entitled to any refund of the rental fee in the event either of these services are unavailable or not operating properly during Tenants’ stay.

The view from the 4th floor was AMAZING! If you enjoy the sound of crashing waves, this location is for you! So many turtles, some whales and even dolphins made their way past the condo. The condo was well equipped with necessities. The condo location was well within walking distance to food, shopping, coffee and grocery supplies. Great BBQs and community lounge chairs along the sea wall. Community laundry room however, this condo has a washer and dryer, just don’t overload. Beach chairs and cooler provided!
Having said that, there was one deal breaker for me, the bed was very uncomfortable. I would recommend a new mattress or at the very least, a 3 to 4 inch mattress topper. The table chairs are quite broken in and made the table unusable for us. The frig water and ice are out of commission but we were okay with supplying those ourselves. I would argue that the condo doesn’t have air conditioning as the low window unit did little to cool the condo. However, the double screen doors allowed excellent air movement. A screen door on the front would improve the air movement. A reclining lounge chair on the lanai would have been amazing!!!!
Overall, for the price, still well worth it for us!

No A/C in the bedroom, no smoke alarms, fridge broken, chipped dishes and all mugs. Bits of floor moulding fallen.
Sleep in the bedroom a constant ordeal: the heat, the weed smoke, the nasty ceiling fan and the infestation of bugs
15 nights – no cleaning offered mid-stay – despite the steep cleaning fee; we bought all cleaning products. Not even salt, or pepper left in the cupboards, or garbage bags – we needed extra large ones because of the bin provided.
We stayed past the expiry of the heavy-duty insecticide spray we found hidden up high, because during the last few nights the place became infested with bugs: in the sheets and around the bedside lamp, on the ceiling, pretty much everywhere around light. And no, we didn’t keep the nets open or did anything different. I couldn’t use the spray because you had to leave the place to use it and we had spent our day away already.
We spent our time on the balcony, looking at the waves through metal bars, because the chairs are not high enough.
There is no beach anywhere near, you need a car. Also, the chairs and tables dwnstrs were taken from early morning and the noise gets louder than the waves, which is impressive.
Property management is a joke. They never set foot in that place and had no clue. They either denied any help or promised everything and did nothing. I did get a text back telling me about how they handled the smoking issue. Of course, the smoking continued after the text, and we choked on it until the end.

Condo #409 is directly behind the elevator so you get noise when it's in use (11pm-12am were a couple of experiences we had which woke us up). The bedroom wall is the wall against the elevator shaft.
The bed in the bedroom is a queen size at most.
