This is an incredible VRBO - from the moment we stepped inside, it was obvious how beautiful the view is. The lanai was a great feature and you can catch the best sunsets there. The property was clean and very comfortable. There was everything you need, from comfortable beds to spices/kitchenware to toiletries to extra blankets. It’s also only a 5-10 min walk to the shops where you can buy whatever you need from Long’s Drugs or some of the stores and restaurants.

Beautiful 180-degree ocean view - we saw whales off the coast and nearby turtles almost every day during our stay.
There is no direct beach access from the condo property.
Elena was responsive to questions and we had a great time. We would definitely stay here again.

The Unit at Whaler’s Cove is a beautiful, well appointed property located in great neighborhood. The view is spectacular and we loved watching the sea life and listening to the sound of the waves. The owner/property manager are professional, responsive, and service oriented that were easy to communicate with on any subject.
We look forward to staying at this wonderful property again!

This condo complex is one of the nicest places to stay in the Poipu area. It is off the beaten path, a very peaceful place to stay. A beautiful pool and jacuzzi literally right on the ocean. This unit is nicely appointed with all the amenities to make your stay very comfortable. It is up to date and very nicely decorated. Elena was very easy to communicate with. Overall a wonderful experience. We will be back. Highly recommended.

This is my second time staying at this amazing condo. I had such a great time I brought my sisters with me this time.🌺 We spent a week of fun in the sun and touring the island.The condo is beautiful and so comfortable. We spent time lounging inside the condo, out on the lanai overlooking the beautiful ocean and time in the gorgeous pool. The condo has everything that you need for inside comfort, beach time and pool time. The only thing you need to bring is food to fill up the refrigerator. The location is perfect. It has many great restaurants and shopping centers centrally located. I can’t wait to come back.🌈🏝️

This was our second time here; We love staying in Elena’s condo. It is very comfortable and a true home way from home. The kitchen is well outfitted with Keurig pods, olive oil, spices, Ziploc‘s, etc. I don’t believe that there is a better located condo anywhere in Poipu/Koloa. Whalers Cove is very quiet and relaxed. Just a great place to stay.

We highly recommend this vacation rental. The condo is spacious and well-cared for. It was a luxurious and peaceful stay for our family. The ocean view could not be better and we loved the short walking and driving distances to beaches and restaurants.

The location was perfect to walk to beaches and shops. View from lanai and master bedroom was spectacular. The condo was stocked with everything you need. The beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrella was a plus!
Our friends stayed in other condos in the complex and ours was so much nicer on every level.

This is a first class beautiful place to stay. Well equipped, super clean and luxurious. Can’t beat the location. Quiet, secluded and right on the water. Smaller size property with no crowding at the pool at all. Fantastic views from the unit. Top notch place!

We were extremely comfortable here for our 25 night stay. Had all of the conveniences of home. Kitchen is well stocked with all that you need; we were pleased to find plenty of garbage bags and dishwasher pods and laundry soap. No starter kit here, there was plenty for our whole stay. The view is of course spectacular. We thought it was probably the best unit in the whole complex. Our favorite part was seeing that turtles at the big window while we were showering. That is a unique experience. Communication with Elenawas seamless. We highly recommend this property, just not when we want to rent it!

Location, location, location! When you can watch turtle swim in the ocean from the shower you know you've got it good. Space was well furnished and comfortable, views were off the chart. Great pool as well.

The unit was clean and attractive. The ceiling fans were silent and really helped keeping it cool. They had a Kreurig coffee machine with a large selection of coffees to select from. However, we purchased a coffee maker for the unit since the manager could not get us one until the following day.
My husband and I visited the island alone, but if you are traveling with a family this unit is set up for you. There are beach accessories like you wouldn't believe, and indoor games when you are ready to slow down before bedtime.
Owner is quick to respond to any questions you have.

This unit is wonderfully appointed and perfectly located in Poipu and within the Whalers Cove complex. The furnishings are high quality and comfortable and the unit was very clean. Located in the center of the building, the unit has great views of both sunrise and sunset. Being within walking distance of shops and restaurants is a bonus. The owner is very responsive and helpful.

We come to Hawaii to visit family and friends once a year. We are picky and know what we like. We now have enjoyed and will add to our list as a favorite in Kauai, unit 135 Whaler’s Cove. We look forward to a return stay.
The location is great. Ocean front— listening to and gazining on the beautiful Pacific. We saw Whales, Dolphins, Turtles, and great sunsets!
The layout and furnishings were top notch.
Easy walk to the shopping center with plenty of restaurants and food and shopping choices. Poipu area offers much to see and do.
Mahalo... We look forward to our next visit.

This was our first time to Kauai and staying in Whalers Cover unit 135 was great. Located in quiet neighbourhood area within either walking or short driving distance of everything you would need. Well-appointed decorated and spacious 2 bedroom condo in a well maintained facility. Comfortable bedding. The ocean view from the living room and master bedroom was outstanding. We spent every morning and evening on the patio watching turtles swim by between braking waves. Well-appointed kitchen – with good supply of barbeque tools. Stair and elevator access to unit on third floor. Plenty of parking at the condo. Beach umbrella and two folding beach chairs available – but we hardly used them based on time spent at great pool facility.
Great access from condo parking lot into Koala Landing water provided amazing snorkeling to see fish and turtles. After snorkeling head to pool for quick salt water shower and a hot tub. Better experience then any boat trip in our opinion.
Walking opportunities into resort beach area of Poipu proper to get that morning walk in. Baby beach just a 5 min walk north of the condo for a quiet beach location to dip your toes. Great location to head west and explore Waimea Canyon or make that big day trip north to Hanalei and the north beaches. Thank you for the Kauai guide and hiking guide books in the library.
Communication with owner, Elena, was easy all by email. Prompt response time.
Most of the other condo guests were also repeat visitors to Whalers Cove. Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely book again and recommend Whalers Cover unit 135.
