Very clean.lots of room. Great ocean view. Even there is no beach, we saw a lot of turtles.
Kitchen is well stocked. 2 BBQs by the pool.
Easy check in. Would definitely stay here again.
Now here are a few things that I could suggest.
There really need to be an AC unit in the main room. The AC unit in the small bedroom needs to be replaced because it puts out very little cool air. The AC machine in master is good.

Fantastic view and location! We enjoyed the easy access to the ocean and snorkeling with turtles just steps (literally) from our lanai. Private island escape perfect for the three of us (me, my husband, and our adult son). Great location just north of the hustle and bustle of Kaanapli and only a short drive to Lahaina, and not too far from Honolua Bay and Kapalua for world-class snorkeling and golf. We would stay here again.

This place is fantastic and is just as shown in the listing. Sitting outside with the view gave so much entertainment - watching sea turtles, whales, crabs, fish, sunsets, clouds, rainbows, boats, surfers, and waves, waves, waves! Location was prime with a few things walking distance and beaches for walking/swimming/snorkeling and hiking both to the north and south just a few miles. Generally quiet and very private. Nice pool for cooling off. Kitchen had everything we needed. Host provided lots of ideas of places/things to do in the area.

My son had just earned his Ph.D. in engineering. We decided to take him to Maui for a week of fun in the sun. This condo was perfect for a fun and relaxing week in Maui. Kitchen is very nice and we used it a lot. Nice views of the Pacific Ocean right outside the patio.

We stayed at this property for 2 weeks, the best part is waking up and having a view of the ocean every day. Sea turtles hung out with in view, and a ocean breeze daily. Easy access to food, shopping and sites. Can’t wait to return.

Wonderful stay!! The location was great - close to town and other attractions. loved the nitro brew at the farmer's market and our kids love drinking fresh coconut water from the coconut from there as well. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and a few of your basic spices. Appreciated having a dishwasher, oven, full fridge, microwave, toaster and blender. Pool/grill/shuffleboard area was nice, but the lanai was by far our favorite place relax and watch the ocean. When the tide was low, we could walk down below the sea wall to snorkel and swim. As the tide came in, you could see all of the sea turtles feeding on the reefs! We had a perfect view of the west...Sunset was stunning every night! Overall, I recommend this condo to anyone from couples to families.

We stayed here December 27, 2021 - January 3, 2022. Upon arrival, everything was clean and in place. The views were amazing on our private grass area, waves crashing and sea turtles. The living room decor is dated and worn, however you spend all your time outside on the sizeable patio! The second bedroom air conditioner is noisy, so unfortunately we could not use it during the night. The afternoon of New Year's Eve we tried our television and it was not working. Within two hours we had a new one up and running and appreciated the timely service. Overall, this was a very good stay!

We were immediately captivated by the sound of the ocean the moment we walked in the front door. The description is accurate...10 feet front the patio doors you see spray from breaking waves. Stair access directly off the grassy area visible in photographs takes you to the ocean for snorkeling and amazing turtle watching.

This place was magical. We had our two kids with us and having the larger master bedroom along with a second was a game changer. The location of this condo was PERFECT especially if you love the west side. Parking was easy, pool was gorgeous, rooftop deck was amazing, the green landscape created a private oasis. Fantastic Amenities! This is a very special unit! Hale Ono Loa has traditional 4 story condos, and 4 beachfont cottages. #119 is one of those 4. A few steps lead down to the water, and a small sandy beach. Sea turtles nibble on algae on the rocks right in front of this unit. You have a private covered lanai with shades and outdoor furniture. Perfect for viewing the spectacular sunsets! Boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers, & beach towels are waiting on the lanai. Fully furnished HOME AWAY FROM HOME with fully stocked kitchen and 2 air conditioners add to the comfort. Stayed 12 days. 10 STARS! Thanks, Lonnie! Kathy Childs & Family

This property totally met our expectations. The unit is clean and the beds are comfortable. The view from the lanai is beautiful and we could hear the waves crashing. We even saw turtles playing in the surf nearly every day. Even though it’s in a condo complex, the unit itself is secluded and quiet. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our 5th stay in Maui and this was by far our favorite condo. The location is incredible. 119 is part of four small oceanfront condos. There is a great deal of privacy and the ocean is literally feet away. Daily visits by feeding turtles. When the tide is low you can walk downstairs and there is a small beach area. There is also a terrific reef right down the stairway for great snorkeling. Lots of fish, eels, and we even swam with a couple of turtles. The condo comfortably fit 6 of us though we didn’t spend much time in there. Finally - I can’t say enough about property manager Lonnie. She is so responsive and helpful. It’s not like that everywhere. Hale Ono Loa has a great communal feel to it. My family (including three young kids) felt so welcome. I would highly recommend!

Location, location, location... is what make this rental special. It is a beachfront cottage located right on the ocean. There is only one shared wall with the cottage next door and no unit above or below, so extremely quiet. The beaches and restaurants in the area are also very good and convenient. The unit was very clean on arrival, the kitchen well stocked with pans, utensils, etc., and there are lots of linens and towels. Pool is also nice and grills are available on the pool deck. The only drawbacks are 1) the lack of a washer/dryer in the unit (you have to go to laundry room in main building- clean, but less convenient and $1.50 per load) and 2) the limited/poor A/C (master bedroom runs o.k. with door closed, but 2nd bedroom only has louvered panels as door/wall and that window unit struggles to get room cool for sleeping).

We had such a good time at HOL 119. The location was perfect right on the seawall and watching and listening to the waves was our favorite pastime. There were a TON of turtles to watch as well as crabs in the morning. Super quiet complex and private setting back against the ocean with no one above. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was clean and updated. The AC in the bedrooms was nice for sleeping as the main living areas got warmed up in the afternoon from the sun. Sunsets were spectacular. Location was good for walking to the farmers market and a quick drive to Whalers Village or up to Maui Brewing, where we spent a couple of evenings enjoying the local beer, great selection and a must go to for beer lovers.

Loved the location of this condo. Minutes away from Lahaina for shopping and restaurants. Paia Fish Market had great fish and great pricing. We also walked to get an ovenfired pizza by the 808 moped rentals. Times grocery store right down the road. Great snorkeling locations nearby. Great hiking trails going toward the Nakalele Blowhole. The condo itself was fantastic. Very accomodating and we ate our meals on the lanai. The shower attached to the master bedroom was amazing. We watched whales and the turtles are swimming and rest on the sand area in front of the condos. Lonnie was very helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend this property to our family and friends.

Loved the location of this unit. Very private and peaceful. The condo complex is older but it is clean, quiet & within walking distance (1/2-1 mile) to shopping/groceries/dining. The unit could use some TLC (slow drains, doors that don't open)& the laundry on premises is coin-operated (no change machine) but other than that we were very happy with our stay at HOL119. Lonnie was very helpful when we first arrived. Would definitely recommend this unit.

We had a wonderful relaxing 10 days in Maui over the Christmas and New Year holidays. The property is very nice. It's quiet and well maintained. The location of this unit on the property was perfect. The Lanai opens right to the ocean and turtles and humpback whales (this time of year) were outside our door on a regular basis. The unit is very well equipped and had a generous supply of pool and beach towels etc. The only reason I can't give it five stars is the overall condition of this unit was a little disappointing. The furniture is dated and the Lanai sliding doors are probably the originals. They were difficult to open and close and in fact don't close completely at the top of the doors, leaving about a gap at the top of the doors which prevents them from sealing. At the rates charged for this unit, the owner at least needs to replace those doors. That said, the unit was clean and comfortable and fit our needs nicely.

This was by far the best location in the complex. Right on the water. We enjoyed hearing the waves crash, especially at night to fall asleep to. Nice pool. Easy parking.not over crowded. Convenient on-site grill for barbeques. This may be on the ground floor, but nobody is above you. Upstairs is an open-air uncovered lounge area. The stars at night are crystal clear. The 4-head shower in the master bath was awesome!Good location to walk for dining/groceries, and a short drive to Lahaina for the touristy stuff.

Actually received a refund from the rental car company because I put so few miles on it. Had no need to drive anywhere as everything we needed was within walking distance and snorkeling was right off the backyard. You did try several other spots to snorkel but none were as good as right off the condo.

We loved staying here! The house was perfect for two couples! There was ample a/c, kitchen had everything we needed (we just bought some seasoning), pool was great, and you can hear the waves crashing outside all day long. The beach right outside is a bit rocky if you wanted to go down there and it is not an actual “beach”, but it is still great! Lonnie was fantastic and answered our questions right away and was very accommodating and friendly. We would definitely come back and stay in this condo again.

This was the perfect spot for our trip. It's centrally located, easy to access, and the view was unreal. Note that one of the bedroom has an accordion door off the living room, so it's not super quiet if the rest of the guests are up and moving about. It wasn't an issue for us but thought it'd be worth noting. The outdoor patio area is shared on the sides, but it feels completely private. We ate every meal out there. I do wish there was a bright light out there for nighttime meals, though! There are stairs to access the rocks below during low tide and you can see for miles both directions. So awesome! The cottage amenities were perfect -- we never found ourselves wishing for anything. The property manager was very responsive and made our stay very comfortable. We would definitely rent here again!
