We were VERY PLEASED with our stay! This condo had EVERYTHING we could want or need to feel at home in Hawaii. The views are unmatched! My husband, who is VERY hard to please, commented multiple times at how well stocked the kitchen was and how the owners have thought of EVERYTHING (to include USB chargers in the bedroom!). We wanted for nothing. I wish I had asked before traveling, because I packed snorkeling gear and beach towels, which we didn't need to do (you should list these amenities because they're wonderful features!). The kids loved the sand toys and pools, and I loved the shower (and was pleasantly surprised to find even some shampoo and conditioner stocked in the bathroom). CONS: As other reviewers stated, the noise from upstairs neighbors can be heard and the twin beds are hard, but the kids didn't seem to mind. We would DEFINITELY return here. Really enjoyed our stay! Great for a family of 4 with young kids.

The pictures don’t show the views as good as they are in person. Beautiful! The access to get to the bay was easy once we figured it out. Some minor issues with sinks not being clean but an easy oversight and not a big deal. Overall the place is amazing and we enjoyed our time there.

The best equipped place we’ve ever stayed. It lacked for nothing.

This condo is beautiful and in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is pretty and you will have anything you need. The showers are wonderful with nice towels and the resort is heavenly with 3 pools and hot tubs. This is what I didn’t like: The second bedroom beds are very uncomfortable. If you aren’t a child, you will wake up with achy pains. The unit requires you to launder the towels. The washing machine and dryer are small. So washing and drying is a all day feat. It takes two hour sessions to dry the towels. And that is two loads. It is super noisy, so you can’t wash and dry at night. So that is six hours of laundry which seems ridiculous to do on a vacation. It would be nice to have some mini shampoo and conditioners as well has better quality toilet paper. The unit was cleaned well, but the main couch arm was filthy and water stained. The cushions were somewhat dirty too. The The amazing porch and beautiful art pictures made up for the dirty couches. The condo It is very homey and cottage like. I might come again if new mattresses were bought or just memory foam mattress toppers would go along way for comfort.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here at the condo #3701. I did read the reviews prior and I understand where they were upset about the condition of the furniture and master bed. It's a VRBO so people are staying there every week. You have to expect a few stains and some rough looking furniture. The couch was a bit stained and the counter chair cushions were too. But not to the extent that we'd leave. What I think people care about the most is the kitchen and bathrooms, which were both in really good shape, condition and were clean! What was most important to me was the cleanliness, which it was. The bathrooms were good sizes. Great showers. 2 sinks in both. Nice kitchen. Had all the pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups, etc. that you need. The refrigerator freezer wasn't making ice cubes and there was a note it fridge was getting replaced. They had ice cube trays and you could also buy ice. I asked for extra pillow cases and got them the next day. The location is nice as it's the end unit. There is some utility equipment you can see to the left, but it's not a big deal. There's also a tiny beach people go to, that is also close to the condo. The bay you are on is lovely. It's a nice view. You can see the boats at night over by the Outrigger hotel, doing the manta-ray snorkeling. It's not busy, loud or congested. Check all the closets and cabinets before you buy anything. We found spices, ziploc baggies, cooler, beach gear (we left a brand new umbrella). There are beach towels, a fan, games, DVD's, books, etc. It's not perfect but it's a nice place that had everything we needed.

We've stayed at this property previously (two years ago) and loved it. Not so this time. On the surface, the place looked the same, but once we were there for a couple of days, we noticed how truly dirty and worn it was. The couch was covered in stains, the furniture was grimy, the sheets were thin and the bedding worn. The doors, walls, carpet... all filthy. We took a few pictures and forwarded them to the management company. We were told that because we didn't notify them within the first 24 hours, they weren't sure what they could do (what???). We left four days early. Will not be returning.

I will first start off with the good. The space and location of this property is fantastic. The view is beautiful and the teak table on the lanai makes meals special! The bathrooms are great too. Where improvements can happen are updating the mattresses! They’re extra extra firm and dipping on the sides where people sleep. The master bedrooms bed makes a terrible noise when you turn your body from one side to another. The loud stomping from the above unit was jarring and honestly put a damper on things. The unit could use updated beach gear. The umbrella is broken, beach matts are falling apart and chairs broken. We had a ice maker problem and both bathroom toilets were problematic. We called and inquired and they tried to remedy the situation with a bag of ice and cookies and someone fixed the toilet (however the problem still persisted). For the amount of money you spend on this unit the toilet paper is poor quality and feels like airport quality paper, no tissue paper, no pens or a notepad to write anything down… please be aware of some of these things if you’re picky. The kitchen is well stocked for you to cook and prepare meals. Bring a sponge because they give you a tiny one. I gave this place four stars but really it’s like 3.5 with a outstanding view and the space is ample for a family of four. Our backs are sore from the mattresses. Mattresses in rentals should be replaced more often than average. Overall this unit could be excellent with a few upgrades and the noise is a tough one because some people are more sensitive than others.

Whenever we’re on the Big Island, we stay up on the Kohala Coast, so we were unfamiliar with this area. We were in Kona for a wedding so we landed at this beautiful condo. It was one of the most comfortable places we’ve been to, and we’ve been to a lot on the island. I can say without a doubt that the location is perfect and once you enter the condo, it’s all about Aloha! Get off the plane, get some groceries (and shampoo/conditioner, FYI), and take a deep breath as you relax on the lanai when you get to the condo. We plan to come back to Kona and stay here after years of driving north!

The condo is beautiful, very clean, and very well outfitted. Being an end unit provided a lot of privacy. We loved to sit on the lanai each morning and have coffee. I would definitely stay here again!

This was our home base for a great trip. The views from the lanai are stunning - the classic Hawaii oceanfront experience. The condo unit is awesome - modern, clean, spacious, and quiet. It was a short easy walk down to the beach on the small cove, where I did a bit of snorkeling each morning. Sunset views were easy to come by with just a short walk to one of the property pools. Best of all was the location - a short drive north to Kona-Kailua for restaurants, a great coffee shop just up the hill, and easy access to drives south to the Captain Cook area and beyond for other beach and sightseeing destinations. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo was ideal for our first stay on the Big Island. Since the complex sits in a more residential area, and in particular this unit is at the edge of the complex, it was so peaceful and quiet. And with all of the plants and vegetation and the amazing view of the bay, the surroundings were just spectacular! We also really liked the location of this condo. We debated staying up north on the Kohala coast, but really think this location is ideal. You are close to many great destinations including so many fantastic restaurants, coffee farms, Kealakekua Bay for great snorkeling and even walking distance from the take off point for Manta Ray snorkeling. The interior of the condo was spacious and clean, and specifically the kitchen and bathrooms were both beautiful and functional. The kitchen is well stocked. While we didn't end up cooking a lot, when we did need to use the kitchen, we had everything we needed. We also really appreciated all of the beach gear. We were able to use the beach chairs and umbrella, which made our beach visit perfect.
