The studio condo suited us very well. The view is just as advertised. We spent many morning hours watching the ocean. Saw dolphins one morning. Joe is an excellent host. His instructions were spot on. Quick response to questions we had. Will return.

We love Honua Kai and have stayed at the resort several times. The owner of this condo was very nice and detailed with instructions. We appreciate this.
The reason for 4 stars is that the bed pillows were old and smelly. The owner may not even be aware but the management should be checking for this. Another concern is that there are no mirrors other than one in the bathroom and poor lighting. It’s a lovely place but when you are paying a lot of money for a rental you have higher expectations.

This studio has excellent views from inside and from the balcony. It overlooks the pool and the ocean. The place was very clean and well furnished. Check-in was easy. The owner was prompt in answering any questions. We would definitely stay there again. It’s very close to Dukes restaurant. Sunsets are amazing.

I have stayed in the same resort community prior, which was also good, but this codo was even better. The view was beautiful and location was perfect for what we needed. We will stay here again! My one suggestion would be to hand more mirrors. Being in a 1 bathroom condo with 3 women was a doozy, but we made it work. Thanks so much Joe!

The view makes this a prime studio unit and it is clean and well equipped, as described. There are a few drawers for clothing so don’t plan on having hanging items. The only inconvenience was people above drag unusually loud chairs on their patio between 4:30-8am. If the development has quiet hours or if they were willing to put a rug down, that could be addressed.

Absolutely perfect honeymoon stay for my wife and I! A room/view like this would cost thousands more at any of the big hotel chains, but renting through VRBO saved tons. The kitchen was perfect for breakfasts on the patio and stocked with everything you would need. Communication with the owner was great. Would come back here again

Loved our stay here. Our favorite was the amazing view from the balcony. It has a great beach right off the property and a fun pool. The unit was very clean, loved the full kitchen and washer and dryer. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I. Thank you for sharing this great place with us! We will be back.

Great property for the price. Can’t beat the view, proximity to Kaanapali and Duke’s (there are plenty of other outstanding snorkeling and shopping options within a few minutes too), and multiple pools. Elevators are a bit slow, but the underground parking is worth the wait. Our tween loved it here.

My husband and myself had a wonderful 8 night stay. This condo had everything we needed with a great view. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The Tommy Bahama chairs, umbrella and boogie boards came in really handy and we used them several times. This was our first time visiting Maui and the location of this property turned out to be perfect. We enjoyed Duke‘s restaurant several times as well as the walking path every morning. Joe was wonderful with communication and was able to give us an early check in which we greatly appreciate it. The only downside would be how crowded the pools were (lots of kids) and not being able to get a pool lounge chair after 10am. It seems to be an issue at most of the other resorts as well. Probably due to Covid and limiting the number of chairs. Overall we had a fantastic time and I would definitely come back again!
