The bedroom offers a spacious king-size bed, a TV, and a ceiling fan. It can be completely closed off from the living area for added privacy. The living room features a comfy pull-out sleeper sofa, a flat-screen TV with cable, and a convenient desk for your use. The full bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and shower.

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it's about a 20-minute ride – Prices are around $45 depending on traffic. Follow the signs to the taxi area upon arrival.
CHECKOUT CLEANING:
The cleaning fee includes professional cleaning with sanitization of the unit; professional laundry of linens and towels with high temperature (180F) and restocking of amenities after each departure.
There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap.
Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.
LINENS & TOWELS:
We provide one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. The bed is equipped with a fitted sheet, a flat sheet, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and a blanket are inside the dresser.
LAUNDRY ROOMS: There is a laundry room on the 3rd floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses as well. Upcoming Projects:
The Pacific Monarch will replace windows in the recreation and sauna rooms (September–October 2024, 2-3 weeks), modernize elevator equipment (September 2024–March 2026, one elevator out of service for 6 months), and install new lobby tile flooring (September–December 2024, 3-4 weeks). All work will occur M-F from 8 AM to 4 PM. Future projects may include fire alarm upgrades, generator re-wiring, and door lock replacements starting in 2025.
Pool Closure:
The Pacific Monarch will be resurfacing the pool starting November 25, with an expected completion date of February 14, 2025. Please note, that the start date is tentative and depends on the progress of the spalling project. The closure period may also be extended if additional time is required for the work. During this time, the pool will be closed to guests, and alternative arrangements may need to be considered. We encourage residents and guests to plan accordingly and stay updated on any announcements regarding the reopening date. We appreciate your patience during these improvements.

The property is located two blocks from the beach, such an easy walk with our beach chairs. Every other corner has an ABC store for anything that you may need for your trip. Three different local food trucks located within a block.
We had a car. It was so easy to get in and out of the property to explore the island.

The room and the location are amazing. The pool area would be great, except the pool was extremely filthy. On our 4th day, I finally complained, and someone came and poured some salt into it. The pool didn't look anything like the pictures of it that we saw.. Everyone that we talked to was highly dissapointed in the pool . Most of us a little afraid to swim in it. If we didn't stay here again, it would only be because of the lack of cleanliness of the pool. It really felt like false advertising.

This unit was about what we expected. We loved the large lanai. We expected the spa to be closed for construction because we were notified but we did not expect construction next door and throughout the hall while we were there. The master bed frame is too large for the space and I walked into the sharp corner bumping my shin several times. It was very painful. The location is great. It is close to stores, restaurants and the beach.

Location could not be better literally 1 block from the beach with all the shops you could want footsteps away
The one bedroom condo is small but very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed
A short list of suggestions for the owners which would make this even better would include cleaning the windows to enhance the view, replacing the batteries in the remote control ( they were dead) and having a A/C unit that is a little quieter

Perfect location, loved that we could see the mountains and the beach from our balcony. I would stay here again. Even though … The condo is a little run down, the owners could definitely spend a little money updating. We stayed for 10 days and only got 1 set of towels per person. I feel like for 10 days we should have been able to get another set of towels. No matter if you only stay 2 days or 10 you get the same amount of towels?? And the. They want you to wash the dishes but don’t give you any dish towels or sponges.

Property looks like pictures online. Everything worked as expected. We had the best of both worlds with the view from the large balcony. Enjoyed seeing Waikiki Beach along with the city view, and the sunsets were awesome. Great walking distance from dining and shopping, and we even visited the Honolulu Zoo. Great value for your dollar!

We had a lovely stay but a couple of things would make it great - the unit was advertised "The bedroom has a king size bed, TV and a ceiling fan" no tv in bedroom, not that it mattered but we thought as parents and kids we could have some separate time, but in the end we didn't miss it. Also no sugar in the unit for that first morning coffee. I asked at reception but "we don't manage that unit" was the reply. Not very friendly! The sofa bed springs were a little hard so the kids pulled the mattress on the floor and slept better. Just tweaks but overall a lovely clean unit, great view and location and just about everything we needed was there. Thank you.

Adequate, but not as good as it could be. The small window AC unit cooled the Living area well enough, but was not too effective in the bedroom. I would guess 78 degrees is about the best we could get in the bedroom (but it was August!). The LR sofa is a sleeper and therefore not a comfortable couch. The plumbing fixtures are old and need replacing, especially the tub. We had to pull it so hard I thought it would pull out of the wall!
The location is great and it was clean! The bed was firm but comfortable.

We rented this unit for our 20th anniversary trip to Hawaii. The unit was exactly as described including the great view from the lanai. No car rental needed, everything was withing walking distance! There are day rentals available at numerous locations nearby too if you want to rent a jeep and head up to the north shore (we did!) Great week spent and looking forward to coming back some day! There was miscommunication in the beginning regarding parking. I asked about parking, and I was informed that it was free. After I booked, I was told that there was $30 per night parking fee. I was upset, but everyone makes mistakes. I am leaving review as if I was informed about parking fees in advance. I give 5 stars as the whole process was easy. Check in and check out was easy since the condo had keyless entry. There is paid parking for $30 per day. Roof top pool and hot tub. View was fantastic and has wow factor. The king size bed was comfortable. I didn't use couch bed but those can't be that comfortable... I took an air mattress. Location was convenient and very close to the beach and many good restaurants. The place was clean and family was happy with the place. (Most important) So I would recommend to others and wouldn't mind staying here again. Didn't want to penalize for an honest mistake. 5 stars.

There were no surprises as the description on vrbo was accurate and pre-stay communication with the manager was very good. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space, where we spent a lot of time. Rooftop pool/hot tub/patio area was very nice with excellent views in all directions. There were a few very minor flaws but they had no impact on the quality of our stay. The location was great, with easy walking distance to many beaches, restaurants, and shopping areas. except for it being a bit noisy, but that's Waikiki, not this particular unit.
