Condo comfortable. Lots of amenities packed into small space. Beachfront, could watch whales from lanai. Really appreciated the good binoculars!! Fans great, didn't get hot. Big doors opening to lanai felt like inside-out living space. Easy check-in and out. Boogie board, beach umbrella, cooler bags, beach chairs provided and great to have. Comfortable bed in bedroom. Small kitchen if you want to cook but had everything we needed, including good ice maker. Corner unit so was nice onky having neighbor on one side.
Only slightly negatives. With windows and doors open there is transiet noise, i.e., people walking by in halls, trash pick-up, lanai next door.... But short lived and to be expected for number of units packed in. View from couch is next door building because unit is on end. But if you face the ocean on lanai, you can ignore that view. First floor unit off ground so have to walk out backside, downstairs to parking lot and then take sidewalk around to front of unit. Again, not a problem but good to know ahead of time, esp if you have kids.
Easy communication with manager. Location great for walking around Honowokua. Farmer market across street several days/week. Sand beach next door at park. Ocean in front of unit has tiny sand beach at low tide with a reef out front so there is a little protected swimming area. Pool, hot tub, bbq available at other end of condos.
Good value for beachfront 1 bedroom spot that is a part of a larger pack-them -in condo spread.

Getting into the unit was easy but no one available to provide parking pass after 5 pm. The view was as advertised but a little disappointed that there was no beach at the property. However, plenty of great beaches within an easy drive and one you could walk to in about ten minutes. Host had no one checking in after our stay so was very accommodating with a late checkout so that we could enjoy Maui for a little while longer.

We had an amazing stay! It’s the perfect location. There are shops near by and a cute fruit market. The pool and bbq area are fantastic! You can hear the waves in the living room in the evening. You can fall asleep to the rolling waves if you sleep in the living room.

For a family of four (two kids), this was perfect place.
Location is awesome as we got to see many whales during our stay in March.
Amazing sunset views in the evening. You can see Molokai island.
Kids were able to enjoy there time in water.
Unit does not have AC, but there are ceiling fans and extra fans available.

Able to park the huge truck the rental company gave us due to no others available! Nice place and location. Would be nice to have a metal front screen door for the wind, and for the stairs to the beach to be fixed. But we loved it, thank you!

We enjoyed the condo. It had just about every amenity we could ask for. The view from the lanai was outstanding. Noise was minimal. Please replace key box as it is rusted and difficult to replace. Overall a great little place to stay.

Hearing the waves all night long was heavenly! Perfect one bedroom place on the beach! Coffee on the patio was beautiful with the birds singing. The shaded patio was a bonus. Such a great location on the island! We watched whales spout from the front yard on beach! The views of Molokai were gorgeous! We moved to the Westin and did not have as good of views or the sound of the waves. Fantastic stay!

We had a lovely time. If you require brand new, may not be for you. Unit was cute, nicely maintained, clean (most important) and comfortable. Could tell there has probably been periodic updates. Great feeling of private ocean view from lanai. Bedroom has shuttered window by outer hall walkway, so could get noise of people walking or talking as going by, but all rooms are of same design. That being said, we found it fairly quiet during our time. We did close at bedtime and were comfortable with the ceiling fan going. Lovely little sheltered beach to play and snorkel though had to work way down rocks over wall to get to. We could walk across street to pick up food which was great. This is definitely a place we would return to. Thank you!!

THIS condo is in the perfect location!! At Paki Maui, where it's immensely lush is Christine’s wonderful, private, quiet condo with easy access to waterfront AND activities. The property is beautiful and well maintained with a waterfall, tropical gardens to walk through and a koi pond. Unlike most other condos, the lanai IS super private! It’s been updated since I was there last year and has charming new flooring and a remodeled, gorgeous walk-in shower. She provides Tommy Bahama beach chairs, boogie boards, noodles and an umbrella so that you don’t have to rent/buy them. Christine is so easy to work with and the wi-fi is top-notch so you can take and post videos and/or tiktoks or facetime family and friends all while your toes are in the sand!!! I’ve been vacationing on Maui (mostly at Paki Maui) for over a decade and if your party is 2 to 3 people – THIS is the condo for you!!

This was a great place ro stay. We enjoyed the view with the sunsets and rainbows. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking and playing which was really helpful. It is minutes from great beaches and LaHaina shopping areas.

My boyfriend, best friend and I stayed here and it was perfect for us. Christine was a great host with friendly communication and accommodated an early check in. As some of the reviews note, it is on the smaller side but who really hangs out inside a condo when they are in Hawaii anyway! The rental came equipped with beach supplies (towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler) which was awesome to have on hand and made our beach experience 10x better. It should be noted that there is not AC but there are plenty on fans to utilize. The location was great and felt very safe. Personally, I didn't want to stay right in the middle of the downtown area but this was a convenient 10-15 minute drive to the hustle and bustle of downtown Lahaina. There was plenty to choose from within walking distance including a beach park right next to the rental property, coffee shops, Farmers Market (get the smoothie bowl- amazing!), convenience stores, food options, spa, grocery store, etc. There were quite a few beaches within a 5 minute drive of the rental too.

Great spot for a family stay. Kids can play in the shallow water right in front of the building (when tide is low), there’s a playground & park next door, etc. Be sure to try the fish market and the arepa place across the street!
Communication was seamless and Christine was always super helpful.
The one downside is that bedrooms in this building tend to have a door-sized window facing the hallway. While it can help with air circulation, be prepared with a white noise playlist (or just loop a single track!) otherwise you’ll be woken up multiple times in the evening/morning.

My husband and I loved our stay here. Beautiful views from the balcony and the property has a nice lawn with chairs to relax. Loved that we were able to access the ocean and float! It was a great cozy place to use as a home base after a day full in the sun! We only wished there were more pots/pans to use in the kitchen. Otherwise, everything was perfect! Will definitely book here again for our next vacations!

This little condo sits at the end of the hall on a curve. The lanai is surrounded on one side by trees and plants which block the view to the adjacent condo building, the other end has a lovely view of the ocean. There's no ait conditioning, but nice breezes and fans keep the place cool for sleeping. I was concerned it might be noisy from the hallway with people coming and going, but each night the place quited down.
My one negative was the couch. It's not very comfortable and could use an update. But I didn't spend much time sitting inside, there's so much to do on Maui.
People gathered on the lawn and beach every evening to say goodnight to the sun. The stars were incredible at night and before dawn. If you go out after dark, watch out for the snails and toads. During the day, you can see lots of geckos and anoles. February is great for watching the whales. As close as they seem from shore, I highly recommend going out on a whale watch or snorkel trip.
The laundry room requires you to have quarters which you can get at the ABC store or the Times grocery story, or to put an app on your phone. The app has some negative reviews so I opted for quarters. The washers and dryers were clean and easy to access.
Across the street is a place called The Fish Market, you can buy a meal or fresh fish to cook for yourself. Also just down the road is a food truck location. Fresh fish from Hooked was very good. Paniolo's BBQ pork was tasty, but a bit salty for my taste buds.
This is the kind of place you can hang out and swim, play in the sand, or read, or use as a base camp after full day adventures.

I love the Paki Maui condos for their laid back vibe, proximity to great beaches, and the awesome fish market across the street. This unit had everything we needed. We enjoyed whale watching from the lanai, visiting local beaches for swimming and snorkeling, enjoying sunset dinners on the lanai or out on the communal lawn, soaking in the hot tub, and so much more!

This is a very nice and clean condo and offers everything needed for a short or extended stay. The view from the lanai was beautiful and proximity to the water and other beaches and sightseeing locations perfect. Also, property manager was very responsive.
Only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because the bedroom is next to the stairs, and the noise from other people or revving engines after 11pm or before 6am kept waking me up.

The location of Paki Maui was great! We enjoyed the jacuzzi & the grass area too lay out. We had no TV, however, and a call to the manager produced no results- not even a call back. That part was disappointing. The unit could stand some up grades as well- new dish washer for instance. We did have a great 5 days, though, and overlooked the issues. Sunsets & coffee on the lanai daily were wonderful.

Ny boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Paki Maui. The condo was very clean and had an amazing view. The place came with a lot of extras like towels and everything you need to cook. It’s right across from shops, a deli, and coffee place. Only a 5 minute drive from whaler village. Only downfall is that the other tenants in the building were very noisy.

My ohana and I had an enjoyable time. Communications with owner was in point. I had asked/requested items such as beach toys for my grand daughters, beach chairs, cooler, extra fans since no AC and Christine cane though with all, thanks!
Everything we needed was supplied in the condo. Wanted to clean up kitchen before we left but was not sure the dishwasher/disposal worked, but otherwise all was well.
Lanai view is awesome and actually saw some whales!

Positiv: Fully equiped kitchen, nice ocean view from the balcony
Negativ: Bedroom next to walkway of first floor, not possible to sleep before 11pm or after 7 am due to chatting people and opening/closing doors.
Also very loud due to close proximity to dumpster area(trash collected Avery second day between 6-7 am)
Sleeping on sofa bed in living room is not recommend.Sofa bed is very uncomfortable,even for kids.You will wake up with back pain.

Balcony itself and all belongings on it we're flooded by broken rainwater pipe on the first day, but fixed fast.
Second day no water in the whole resort for 12 hours due to broken main water supply pipe.
Not possible to access the ocean due to coral rocks in front.Public "Beach" next to resort is dirty,also no ocean access.
Resort pool is to small for amount of residents, also partly damaged and often not cleaned (full of leaves in the afternoon).
Barbecue area nice and clean.
For the price paid i think there are better spots in Kaanapali.

Enjoyed our stay very much at this location. Everything was clean and location couldn’t be better! Could even see whales occasionally off of our lanai! To top it off, I had forgotten and left a whole drawer full of clothes and the owner managed to track me down, met me in town for a “hand off” before our flight to the next island. Definitely above and beyond the call of duty, we would stay here again in heartbeat!

We enjoyed our stay at Paci Maui for ten days. It was convenient, clean, and close to the beach. We enjoyed the lenai for breakfast and the sunsets. We saw turtles in the water. The location served us well and made it convenient for all of our activities we planned. Maui is beautiful and traveling with two kids that not only soak in the sun but are involved with every activity possible. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen as it made it easy for us. Freezer was handy for cold treats to enjoy! Thanks for letting us stay! We will be back. The Cranes
