Great place. We loved the location. It was convenient for getting to the North or South shores! It was nice having our own little private beach area, along with the option to walk down to the lifeguard watched section.

I was surprised by the condition of the unit, the furnishing, the lack of cleanliness of the unit and the extremely pesky chickens on property.The unit itself was older, musty and not many things updated (only the microwave was new).Thing were rusty to an extreme degree-refrig door, every single kitchen knife, even the lamp in bedroom had large solid areas of rust. Unbelievable no updating. Dust and cobwebs in the unit upon arrival. Thick white dust on bedroom and living room lamps. Salt and sand on all living room surfaces. The chickens poop all over the porch and chairs outside the unit. Gross! I would not rent again. Security patrols consistent at night as lots of homeless right down the road. The pool and landscaping on property are both nice but don't make up for all the cons. And the unit is stifling hot when wind is not blowing-had 2 huge fans on the whole time we were there, bdrm is in the back with no tradewinds coming in.Cannot swim in the water outfront-too rough so you have to pack out to another beach. Urgh, didn't know all this or we would have cancelled staying here for sure.

Accommodations were as portrayed. Had all the things you need, no grocery shopping to fill gaps. Even had a pair of scissors. Had beach accessories and a cooler. Condo grounds were plush with tropical flora. View was outstanding.

The only thing going for this place is location. The unit has a nice view of the ocean But, it’s dated and it needs to be updated. It stated no AC but at least put in extra floor fans. When we arrived it was like a sauna with one small fan in the bedroom. There’s ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom but they do nothing. We requested a 2nd fan which was dropped off the next the day. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced at least the lounge chairs. They were torn and dirty. I’m not sure why this place received exceptional rating it’s no where near that. I almost injured myself twice from a sharp rusty metal portion of the bottom of the bed. I think another reviewer mentioned this. The appliances need to be replaced. The coffee maker is about 10 years old. A new coffee maker doesn’t cost much maybe $15 at Walmart. This was a Mr. Coffee maker. Also they only provided a 3 & 1 shampoo/conditioner/body soap . They only had 3 towels for 3 people for a 5 day stay. Unacceptable! The main thing folks need to know about this unit is the cell service is terrible. We requested a late check out since our flight was not until 10pm. They granted it for an additional hour to 11am. As we were in the process of loading our car we got locked out. We used the key code to enter at 11:02 am it would not work. This needs to be communicated to the guest. If we would have known we would have had a person stay behind to ensure we were not locked out. Terrible!!!

This unit is in a convenient location easy to get to hikes and water activities with a minimum of traffic. The only issue was noise from the people staying in the upstairs unit.

Perfect location for going north, south or just next door at Lydgate! Bath and bedroom could be larger, a bit cramped. A more comfortable chair (recliner?) would be nice. We've booked a slightly larger unit in the same resort for next year.

Loved waking up to the beautiful view of the water every morning and being greeted by the little chickens when we went outside. Enjoyed walking on the path in front between the property and the ocean every evening. Unit had everything we needed and was very well cleaned.

This spot has the most incredible views, convenient location to beach, beautiful walking paths, and nearby shops and restaurants. It’s quiet, clean, and has every amenity you need including easy laundry in a nearby building within the complex. Highly recommend and plan to return.

This property has it all. We had an excellent experience, the unit had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the necessities, we just had to get food.
It's a short walk to the beautiful beach, where we spent most of our days. Most of the time, we had it to ourselves. The water is wonderful.
The unit was comfortable and spacious. The bed was so comfortable, we slept well all week.
The property manager checked in with us throughout our stay and we appreciated that.
We met Steve, who works as security for the property. He as charming, helpful and so adorable. Great ambassador for the property.
We would definitely go back and recommend to all of our family and friends. :)

Kaha Lani is beautiful, quiet and centrally located to everything on the island. This is our second time staying, and we love the amenities such as beach, pool and onsite laundry. Views from this oceanfront condo cannot be beat! You will enjoy coffee every morning on the lanai.
However, be prepared to sweat all week, as the fans provided are inadequate for ventilation and airflow, especially in the bedroom.
Overall a lovely stay and we cannot wait to return to heavenly Kauai!

Unit 121 was ocean front! We were pleased to see it was stocked with many essentials upon arrival.(toilet paper, paper towels, salt and pepper etc...)Check in and out was very easy. We really liked the location on the east side making it easy to drive north or south. We we disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit when we arrived particularly the bathroom and kitchen. We stayed for 9 nights and there were not enough linens for 9 nights! 1 kitchen dishcloth? 2 washcloths and 2 bath towels per person is not enough for 9 nights. An extra set of sheets would be nice for the guest for even if you are careful, sand gets in the sheets when you are beach front! The ceiling fans do not seem to have a high and don’t move much air. Maintenance may want to take a look at them.

The breeze coming off the water, picturesque views, relaxing and safe area are among many reasons to choose this VRBO. Central location makes it perfect to get to many areas of interest on the island.
Bed and liens are comfortable. Kitchen is perfect for cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. Back side of condo opens with sweeping views of the ocean. The waves crash peacefully over the sand. If the clouds allow, you can see sunrise from your own back patio. Breathtakingly Beautiful!!!

If people are going to be more than a week at the property than each person should have 2 sets of bath towels and pool towels.. It takes so long for towels to dry in that climate it is really hard not to have dry towels.
I can see having to take trash out, but we shouldn't be expected to sweep floors if they are ok, as stated in the check out process.. We paid enough for that place that part of it should be the cleaning person's job.

Spent a week at the Kaha Lani condo. Great location for seeing the entire island. Loved the view and ability to walk to Lydgate for swimming/snorkeling with our 11 year old daughter. It was quite hot/humid during our stay and A/C would have been appreciated but we were able to make due to the provided fans. Communication was very prompt. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella provided. Overall a wonderful stay and we would return in a heartbeat!

There are many options on the island. If you would like to wake up to the ocean, be centrally located and want a home like few to come back to each night; this is the right place for you!!! If vacationing means plush hotels, updated fixtures, and a cocktail hour keep looking. My 16 year old son and I enjoyed our time in this condo, it can get a bit warm but we were usually gone during the day so it was fine. The breeze at night and view in the morning reminded us we were in paradise!!
Be sure to rent a car if you’d like to explore the island on your own. Tip: buy the Shaka guide app!! Amazing, we felt like locals and saw so much of the island we wouldn’t have normally been aware of. Great stay and we’d do it again without hesitation!

Communication was exceptional. I knew well in advance all the check in and final closure instructions. Unit was well stocked with cooking and kitchen materials. Only things I would change is the fan in bathroom ( extremely loud) and curtains in main room ( dreary looking)

Great little condo a little disappointed that the chairs provided were broken and rusted I scraped my leg on a sharp piece of the chair. Umbrella provided was broken as well. Everything else in apartment was comfortable and nice. There are a lot of chickens and a cat that are very friendly. A little disappointed complex did not have hot tub and beach area outside of Condo were not kid friendly.

The place it self was clean and nice but I was sad to watch the homeless while I was vacationing.
