Set in beautifully landscaped Hale Kamaole complex, Unit 232 features a private lanai with beautiful ocean views across from Kamaole Beach Park III -- named one of the top beaches in the world! The beach has a gentle surf with full time life-guards on duty. Located away from South Kihei Road over 900 sq ft of living space. 2 beautiful pools located just steps from the unit, along with tennis court, pickleball and BBQ's. Ample free parking provided on site and no resort fees make this a great complex. Located within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and attractions, this condo is a great base for exploring Maui!
The unit has a new fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishwasher, refrigerator, range, microwave and coffee maker. The dining room and living room are tastefully decorated in a relaxed beach home style. The shaded lanai has views to the ocean, Haleakala mountain, tennis court, pickleball and two pools. There is a large bedroom with a King size bed, A/C, ceiling fans, combination safe and plenty of storage. The living room and bedroom each have TVs with cable programming and free Wi-Fi. A DVD player and music system are also available. A new in-suite washer/dryer completes the unit.
Beach chairs, beach equipment, boogie boards, water noodles, cooler bags, bocce ball, tennis rackets, and pickleball paddles are located in the lanai closet for your use. A wide selection of books and games are available. Two inflatable mattresses are located in the closet for your convenience.

Our preferred minimum stay is 7 nights but can accommodate as few as 4. This is a NON SMOKING unit and NO PETS are allowed.

We like our condo. Especially its location. There was everything for comfortable stay. Apartment is about 25 years old but well kept. The only warning if you are staying longer then 4 days you need extra soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Dishwasher is working but not properly and needs the replacement (my husband is appliance technician and he said that). However, overall we like our stay and we certainly would recommend this condo and this property management company to our friends. Mahalo.

The condo had everything we could ever have wanted/needed.
Loved having beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and a fully functional kitchen (our leftovers never went to waste!). It was also wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The lanai was perfect and the view was beautiful. The perfect home away from home!

Lovely spacious condo in a great location. Our only issue - one of the tv remote controls is missing and the other remote is not compatible, and the cable remote to the tv that did have a tv remote had dead batteries (the other cable remote appeared to not work). We reached out to the property manager to at least get new batteries and then we agreed we'd work on programming the only remote to work on both tvs. Without all remotes operational we had to turn on and adjust the volume manually using the buttons around the back of the tv. We never heard back from the property manager after that conversation and never received batteries. It wasn't the end of the world, but would have been convenient since we were in town over the holidays during a series of storms, and we would have liked to have maybe watched some holiday movies with the kids while waiting for the storms to pass without having to get up to adjust the volume every time a commercial came on. We also would have liked to have the ability to watch tv in the master bedroom at night once the kids were asleep in the living room but operating the tv manually in that room was a huge hassle.

It was really clean, accessible and the bed was sooo comfy. It was perfect… we didn’t spend much time at home but when we did we had everything we needed. It was simple and clean. We really appreciated our stay. Parking was easy as was getting into the condo.

The condo location was perfect for us. The beach is just walking distance and food places are close by. The facility has two pools which my kids utilized. I like that there’s washer and dryer in the condo. Probably one thing I would change is the furniture. It’s a little outdated. But other than that we would rent this place again.

Overall, we had a terrific time and this was a perfect spot for our family. The washer and dryer were a big plus. The bed was huge. Just a few thoughts that were likely my fault. If you're used to air conditioning throughout your home, this property has a small unit in the bedroom and doesn't cool down the whole property. There is a noticeable difference in temperature between the bedroom and living room. There were fans for the pull-out bed area. Everything else was fantastic with a few surprises in the closet for your day at the beach. The property was quiet, which was a huge plus. The best beach from Hale Kamaole was McKenna Beach, which we found late in the trip. One last thing, this particular unit does not have a beach view unless you count a small sliver off the balcony. We also would have liked batteries in the TV remote controls. For food, it's true you are within walking distance of several options. Our favorite was Fred's and Cafe O' Lei. These are not complaints just clarity for the next person. If you're going to Hana be prepared for some of the craziest driving ever. Make sure to download the Shaka app. Overall we were very happy and would stay there again.

I had a good overall impression. The location was great, right across the street from an ocean park and beautiful sunsets. I would have given it a 5 rating but there was no shampoo, it smelled musty, there were little ants in the bathroom and toilet leaked continuously. Tim was nice about trying to get things fixed. They brought shampoo and ant traps. The mustiness cleared in a day or so but the toilet continued to leak.
