What a perfect home base for enjoying this magnificent island . We had three couples on this trip , and we had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is beautiful and extremely well equipped . But you may not want to cook with all the amazing restaurants in nearby Poipu and Lihue . You are a short walk from beautiful Poipu Beach. Great swimming , amazing sunsets , and sea turtles every evening !

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. We were pleasantly surprised to snacks and Kauai coffee when we arrived, which was very thoughtful. The place had salt and pepper, snorkel gear for at least 1 person (we didn't dig in too much to see if there were more), pool noodles, enough pots, pans, dishes for light cooking for a family of 6, water pitcher, and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, soap bars, lotion, sunblock, aloe vera, and tide pods. The doors and bathroom tiles could use an update and we wished there was more counter space in the bathrooms. The oven was not working when we arrived but someone came by with a brand new toaster oven which was a nice touch. The dishwasher was working however it's not secured in place so it tips when we tried to load/unload dishes. The handle for flushing the guest bathroom doesn't seem to quite work as well (it doesn't pop up when you push it down to flush). Walking to Poipu beach was about 16 minutes which was a lot for our 5 and 7 year old, but doable for the adults. Beds were super comfortable and the pillows were just right. We loved the view of the ocean and the pool/hot tub was great. There was an issue one day with water being shut down during the day for the whole complex, which was annoying, but we just made it a day to explore the island. The kids also appreciated all the games (uno and apples to apples). I wished there was a step stool for the kids to use at the sink. AC was a plus and necessity for us. Mahalo for everything.

The condo is a perfect size for 5-6 people. 3 bedrooms sure.makes a difference. Great views from the Lanai and and easy stroll to the ocean. Plenty of sea turtles and amazing sunsets. The pool and spa are fantastic. Close proximity to just about everything. I felt the condo could use some updating and we did have a few maintenance issues. The maintenance issues were resolved quickly. Overall, it was clean and well equipped. Mahalo!

We loved the floor layout, good size apartment for all of us to have our own space and also have a good common area to hang out together and play games. We got to see a beautiful sunset every night. We needed a little bit more air movement to stay cool at night.

Our trip to Kauai was splendid! The condo itself was decent, but Vacasa management was disappointing to work with. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the location and the check in process was easy. However, we noticed the first evening that the air conditioning was not working. Upon messaging the Vacasa team, they assured us someone would come look at it. No one came to repair or correct the AC unit, so we reached out again. After slow response with multiple customer service people, they finally offered us an additional floor fan. We said we would like that as it was rather uncomfortable in all three bedrooms overnight. They never brought the extra fan. It has been very hard to reach any of the customer service team aside from the automated text responses. Once our stay was over, and we reached out again, they determined they would issue us a small refund. The amount was $4/day per person that stayed. We are disappointed with this response as we specifically searched, and paid more for, a condo with AC while on Kauai. The condo itself is very spacious, well decorated, and beautifully located. It could use better stocking; for example there was very cheap and minimal cooking utensils - can opener broken, etc.). But the beach supplies and quantity of towels was wonderful to have. The neighbors were friendly and pool was a nice amenity. All in all we would recommend this condo again, but would tell future travelers to be mindful of the management company!

I have been using VBRO (and formerly HomeAway) for over a decade and have always had very positive experiences. No complaints with VBRO. However, this property was the first I've ever rented that was managed by Vacasa, vs a private owner, and this is my first bad review. The condo property itself & location were nice. However, I've never been in a unit that was so poorly stocked. We were a party of 6 staying 8 days and were provided just 3 kitchen trash bags, one roll of TP in 1 bathroom and 2 rolls in the other. Only 5 coffee mugs. There was one pasta pot (fine) but every other pot & pan was about 6", barely large enough to cook or 2. More troubling was, we went to use, what was a large, nice rice cooker only to find it had been put away, uncleaned and was moldy with rotten rice and infested with little flies. I called/texted the numbers provided for local assistance but received no response. Only after messaging via VBRO that I received any response and then it took over 48 hours to come pick up the cooker (which we put on the porch) and replace it with a tiny one. I also texted the local contact about more trash bags, but never received a response so we improvised with our opened Christmas boxes. The master bath also has no actual towel bars but just cheap Command strip hooks so towels never dry. Master bath shower fixtures also old and corroded with a handle missing. Long story short, I will continue to rent via VBRO but never again a Vacasa managed property.

This condo was perfect for our group of 3 couples. Great location in Poipu. Super comfy beds. Well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the pool. The location at the southern-most point on the island allowed us to view sunrise and sunset!

We had a great vacay! There were 6 of us adults.
Very comfortable place for everyone. I’m giving 5 stars for location and amenities. I’m giving 4 stars overall, as this unit needs alot of upgrading. The dishwasher was broken, but one is on order, We found the lanai very warm from the air conditioning unit blowing warm air. Having said that I would recommend this place. The pool was great and the views are amaze balls!

This was overall a fantastic place to stay. Easy to access, amazing views and home away from home. We had a few things that need to be improved on. Dishwasher was broken and toaster didn’t work. The bathroom tile could use some cleaning and one of the three shower valves was broken. Overall, we had an amazing time and will return to this property next time!

We wanted to be in Poipu & the property is in a very convenient location. The property was spacious, with pool & close to beach. However, the condo itself is very dated. Many of the sliding doors stuck, furniture stained, no counter tops in bathrooms. Hoping it gets an upgrade soon.

Location was awesome, house was spacious and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer worked great which is a huge plus on trips! Communication with Vacasa was good and we had everything we needed! The home included beach towels, beach bag, beach toys, beach chairs (we also purchased one and left for next guest!) and shower amenities. Also a hair dryer and dishwasher. And dishes. Everything was great! Hot tub and pool were good and the views from the cliff sides were beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this unit. The suite was spacious for our group of six - two seniors, two adults and two teens. We appreciated the three bedrooms with separate beds for the kids. The kitchen Island was great for seating everyone at mealtimes, though we also savoured morning coffee on the lanai. The living area offered seating for everyone to watch some of the provided DVDs in the evenings. Our group made enthusiastic use of the supplied boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels. We absolutely loved the location on the point. The view from the suite was beautiful over the pool and ocean. We ran down to the point to watch sunset each evening and spot the many sea turtles and whales that passed by. My older son used a drone to catch amazing footage of a whale and its playful calf. We took walks along the stunning coast to the spectacular adjacent resorts and the Makauwahi Cave. Poipu Beach is a ten minute walk away and offered the best snorkeling we found at this time of year. Our sons also had a blast surfing at a neighbouring beach. So much to do and explore from here with highlights including Waimea Canyon, kayaking to Secret Falls off the Wailua River, and hiking in Haena State Park. The island was busy for March Break and we found it difficult to get restaurant reservations. As a result, we made great use of the suite’s well appointed kitchen. We do recommend trying Keoki’s Paradise which is lovely and offers pina coladas served in pineapples. So fun! The pool at the Makahuena is lovely and we noted was often quiet in the middle of the day. My mom loved having a “private pool” during those hours. Thanks so much for sharing this home in paradise with us!

This property worked perfectly for our 2 couples and a single for the 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. Kitchen had a lot of cooking supplies and appliances. No spices or saran wrap/foil etc. Lots of beach gear like chairs, boogie boards, Snorkeling gear etc. Awesome views of both Sunsets and sunrise. Beautiful view right from our lanai. Main negative of this property is the decor of the bathroom and some of the tiles/ trim need to be replaced and could use a deep cleaning. That said we would definitely would come back as it worked well for our home for 8 nights!! MAHALO!!!

The view was amazing. The kitchen was roomie with tons of counter space. All of the bedrooms had nice beds and clean bedding. The rugs in living room and master bedroom were very harsh on our feet. Bathrooms have zero counter space, and need some updating. But overall this condo is very nice and I would definitely stay here again.

Overall not bad but needs some work. The beds are comfortable, the a/c works well, the pool and spa are spotless. The grounds are okay and the unit has a nice view. It is a bit of a hike to the beach. It suited my families needs for a week but it needs some deeper cleaning and general maintenance.

This is in a quiet, beautiful location. You see the sunrise to the left and the sunset to the right on your balcony. The place is clean and comfortable. The property management is responsive to any issues you may have. Nice neighbors as well. We would definitely stay here again. Mahalo.

This was a great place for our family to stay at a decent price. We enjoyed the pool, the beach was a short walk, and we are a short drive to many things. Things that may make this place a five star were if they had more staples available, such as paper towels, foil, and oil/condiments. The kitchen also didn’t have a ceiling fan so every time we used the over the smoke detector went off. Some of the property needs to be fixed up such as head boards, doors, and the bathroom tub. The last thing just for people traveling with family, is the master room is just off the main tv /sitting area and there is limited privacy as there are only sliding door to close off the space( no locks). Again this placed worked great for us and I wanted to point out some things for others and the owners to make it a five start rating.

The condo is really nice, and the Vacasa company really does a good job providing a nice welcome package and everything needed.
The condo and the whole building is not to solidly built, so you hear everything from the other rooms in the condo and from the surrounding condos as well. So when the neighbors children are awake at 6:00am, so are you.
And during our whole stay the hot tub was out of order, which was disappointing.
Instead of that it really is a wonderful place to stay at.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! Very large unit, full washer/dryer, highchair, sand toys, boogie board, etc. Only thing missing was a pack and play for baby, but after a day of tracking down Vacasa, we were able to get one.
View was AMAZING (sunset beauty!), and the pool right off lanai to watch kiddos swimming. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles, and sting rays right from our lanai!!! Also a very Easy walk to Poipu beach as well. Would absolutely stay here again on a future visit!

This condo was clean and the property managers communicated with us in a timely manner throughout the whole process. They even asked us if it was clean after we arrived. The condo was well appointed with all of the necessary items and extras (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler). The staff around the property takes great care in maintaining the grounds. This was our first trip to Kauai (our 4th trip to a Hawaiian Island) and we loved everything about it. This condo unit was nicely furnished and had the essentials for the kitchen, laundry and beach visits. It also provided an amazing view of the sunset right from the balcony. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub several times and in the morning there is a great walking trail to see the sunrise and it's not too far to walk to Shipwreck Beach (in front of the Grand Hyatt). We would definitely rent this unit again. If you enjoy outdoor hikes and beautiful views, Kauai is the place to visit!

Black mold in MB shower, had to take shower in flip flops. MB pedestal sink loose from wall, will someday cause pipes to break and flood the place. Took us one hour to get front door unlocked, luckily a neighbor told us the trick how to get it open-she said it happens to almost everyone- common sense would indicate that instructions how to use the key would be included with email info.

The location is great with walking distance to Poipu Beach, and Shipwrecks Beach and trail the other way. The pool and hot tub great, the grounds meticulous.you can see the awesome sunrise and sunsets from out on the grounds.
