This charming two-bedroom, two-bath condo presents stunning ocean vistas from almost every room, including the lanai, master bedroom, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Located on the second floor, this condo offers 802 sq. ft. of thoughtfully designed interior space, plus an additional 111 sq. ft. of outdoor living on the covered lanai, totaling 913 sq. ft. The home is equipped with a window air conditioner in the living room and four ceiling fans throughout, ensuring a cool and comfortable environment. Stay connected with FREE high-speed 5G Wi-Fi (400 Mbps) and enjoy complimentary phone calls to the USA and Canada, as well as basic cable TV channels.
This tastefully updated condo features new wood floors and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, and an in-unit washer/dryer. Both bedrooms are furnished with comfortable Queen-sized beds, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The condo is fully stocked with linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, and everything else you need for a perfect stay in Maui.
Ideal for up to 4 guests, this home offers outstanding value. For additional guests, prior approval is required, and there is an extra charge per night for the 5th and 6th guests, as there is no sofa bed.
The complex features an oceanfront swimming pool with lounge chairs for sunbathing, as well as propane BBQ grills and outdoor dining areas for your convenience. On "Aloha Friday," enjoy complimentary coffee and donuts from 8:00-9:00 am-a delightful way to start your day.
Situated on Maalaea Bay, a prime location for Humpback whale watching from your lanai during the season from November through April. If the south swell is strong, the famous wave "Freight Trains" attracts expert surfers from around the globe. A short walk south along the sidewalk leads to Haycraft Park and Sugar Beach, Maui's longest undeveloped stretch of sand. This tranquil beach is perfect for swimming, walking, jogging, birdwatching, and shell hunting, all while escaping the crowds. The beach extends for miles and eventually connects with the community of Kihei.
To the north, less than a mile away, you'll find the shops and restaurants at Ma'alaea Harbor. The harbor is a hub for activities, including snorkel and tour boats to Molokini Crater, sunset dinner cruises, and family-friendly attractions like the Pacific Whale Foundation, Maui Ocean Center, and Maui Golf and Sports Park, which offers miniature golf, trampolines, rock climbing, and bumper boats.
Centrally located, Island Sands is just a 20-minute drive to Lahaina, Wailea, and Kahului Airport (OGG), and about 25 minutes to Pa'ia and Makawao town. Nearby, you'll find the Kealia National Wildlife Refuge and the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, just a short 5 to 10-minute drive away. For those who prefer not to drive, the Maui Bus stop at Ma`alaea Village offers convenient public transportation to nearly any destination on the island.

*Every Maui Vision property listed is a NON-SMOKING home; be it inside the unit or outside on the lanai (balcony) or hallways. A designated smoking area outdoors & away from the building. There is a $500 fine for smoking. Any costs to remove the smell or damage of the smoke will either be covered by the guest in violation of this policy.
*Guest will be charged for extra cleaning if the unit is left excessively dirty or damaged the unit beyond normal wear and tear.
*IMPORTANT: The standard number of allowed guests is 4. If you wish to add more guests to your trip, there is an extra person fee of $30 per guest beyond the standard allowed guests.

Any tax increases requested by the State of Hawaii will be passed along to guests. This privately owned vacation condo is operated in full compliance with Hawaii law. General Excise and Transient Accommodation taxes are collected and transmitted to the State of Hawaii on all rentals.

There was plenty of amenities and we loved the decorum. Out of the few places we have been to this one made sure we did not have to get too much except groceries. Again, having all items we sometimes can’t find this one tops the cake! Very appreciative of their cleanliness and thoughtfulness into making sure their guests are well taken care of!

The Island Sands complex property is well kept and attractive. The view and the sound of the surf are outstanding. The description of the condo interior itself, I did feel was accurate. This is an older, not so upgraded condo as you are led to believe. However, everything worked and we had a comfortable visit.

Overall, nice place and very clean. Lots of kitchen stuff. Several beach towels, boogie boards, pool noodles, and beach chairs. When we stayed, there were only two Tommy Bahama style chairs, the others were very low to the ground. I suggested they purchase two more good chairs. Parking space is the end of the row beside thick/close bushes, the property manager parks next to you. He was kind enough to give us some room by parking his truck elsewhere almost the entire 3 weeks we stayed.

Everything was as advertised. The best part was seeing so many whales from the lanai at all times of the day. It just doesn't get old! The location was great for us - .25 miles from Maalaea Harbor, where most of our boat trips left from and centrally located on the island making trips to the upcountry and Hana easier. While there was limited food choices right there, they were all very good and we had a car to go elsewhere fairly close. It is a little quiter side of town, but that worked for us.

We have stayed in this condo building before, but this was the first time in this unit. It was right on the Bay with a great view of Haleakala, Kihei and the Bay. There were no whales during this visit, but when they are in residence, this is a great location from which to view them. The unit is spacious, with a well-appointed kitchen which made it enjoyable to prepare meals. The beds were comfortable and there were several pillows to choose from. In addition, these owners have provided lots of beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, umbrella...all the items necessary for a visit to the beach. These condos are centrally located which makes it easy to visit the entire island. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Great place in Maui! Turtles on the beach and swimming right from the window. I will say, the wind is crazy here. Which actually helps keep cool at night, but is something to consider. We didn’t stay at the condo too much, so it wasn’t a big deal for us. I’d highly recommend staying here! 🙂

Condo was in good shape and well appointed with the staples, plus sand chairs, boogie boards, pool and sand toys. It isn’t a super modern building and more of a condo than a full-on resort but none of that mattered when falling asleep to the crashing waves.
I thought it was a solid value for the price.
Maalaea is a windy dry spot which was nice for natural A/C, but hanging out by the pool was a little chilly and no hot tub to warm up. Most restaurants and grocery stores are a solid 20m drive to Kahului or Kihei.
There is a tiny rocky beach on the left side of the property and you can see sea turtles all day. There is a sandy beach a 10m walk down Haouli street. Apparently the surf here is usually calm but we hit a once-every-ten-years surf event with massive waves and pro surfers which was super cool to watch.
It was a memorable vacation. Mahalo.

Perfect quiet zone with low traffic & family friendly. Down the street from Haycraft Beach, close to Sugar Beach, Kihei, Lahaina, and 15 min from the airport. Walkable to Maui Ocean Center & Putt Putt Golf, & restaurants. Our condo provided cooler’s, beach towels, chairs, snorkeling gear etc. Assigned parking and pool access was a plus. We’re definitely staying there from now on!!

This nice condo is in a great location and is well stocked. The view is wonderful and it could be very comfortable.
It was dirty and in great need of a deep cleaning. There was black mold in the shower and the shower floor was filthy. The floor was so dirty that if we walked barefoot we’d wash our feet before putting shoes on.
If it had been clean it would’ve been a perfect find.

Great location, as it’s centrally located, about 20 min in all directions to all of our excursions. Hearing and seeing the ocean waves from family room, kitchen and master was beautiful and peaceful. Very quiet building. The condo has great energy and looks much better in person. Check in was simple. Parking is easy and included. Highly recommend!! Awesome value. Great floor plan. Very private. Enjoyed meditation in the morning on beautiful little beach just steps away.

The setting was beautiful with full ocean views and the sound of the sea and feel of the breeze. The unit was well appointed and kitchen was well stocked. We appreciated the spices and condiments in the frig. The beds were very comfortable. It was a great place to hang out after hiking or snorkeling. Lovely to eat on the lanai. There is a wonderful Sandy beach a short walk south. Great location to depart for snorkeling boat trip to Molokini. We hope to return.

Had a great experience here. Very clean. There were many beach accessories already in the apartment. The AC had a hard time getting to the master bedroom, but the fans helped. AC would leak water onto the balcony, but not too bad. Grest communication with the host, she was very kind. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been to Maui several times and this is the first time staying in Maalaea. Condo was exactly as described. The view is beautiful and you can see from the Maalaea harbor all the way to Makena including Haleakala. We never got tired of sitting on the lanai looking out over the water. Having a bedroom off the lanai was really nice.
In the past, we've usually stayed in Kaanapali so this was a nice change. Everything is so close! It's an easy drive to the Maui up-country area which I highly recommend. There are a couple of restaurants at the nearby harbor that you can walk to for happy hour. Enjoy!

We had an amazing stay!
View: We woke up every morning and ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves. We could walk to a small beach and we saw turtles. It was fabulous!
Location: It seemed to be right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to visit! So convenient. There were even shops and a yummy ice cream shop within walking distance so it worked out perfectly!
Check in / check out process: We arrived after the office had closed and were planning to head out on adventures early the next morning before it opened. We submitted the forms but never actually spoke to or saw anyone in the office until we checked out. The hours appeared to more of a suggested time frame than strict open to close hours. But that was fine with us. When checking out, we were told if we wanted a late check out we would have to say for more of the day. That was a bummer especially since when asked, there was no one checking in after us.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this condo!

We searched through so many listings before deciding to rent unit 206. And we are so glad we did! This condo is beautiful, the view is outstanding and we had everything we could possibly need right here! The grounds of the resort are immaculate and the staff is fantastic. We were centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit in Maui. The aquarium, some shops and restaurants are within walking distance of the building. There’s a great sandy beach within walking distance too. We saw turtles from the lanai every day we were here. We went to sleep every night listening to the sounds of the ocean. If you have any doubts about renting this unit, just do it. You won’t regret it!
