My family and I so enjoyed our stay. The unit is spacious and well-appointed. The furnishings are comfortable and stylish. They’ve thought of everything. From the copious pool and beach toys (noodles, floaties, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas) to the kitchen essentials that every traveling family needs like ample storage space for food, aluminum foil/baggies, Tupperware, and a well-stocked oil and spice cabinet, we had everything we needed to enjoy the week. There’s also a washer/dryer in the unit, fully stocked with detergent and stain removers. Truly a home away from home. It’s a quick drive to the Mauna Kea Resort and if you purchase the resort access for your stay, you’ll have access to the self-park lots/garages at both Mauna Kea Resort and the Westin at Hapuna making access to the nearby resort beaches easy. The property manager, Donna, was responsive and accommodating. Arrival/check-in was a snap. We will definitely be returning.

This is a beautiful unit. It is extremely well -appointed. The view to the water is fantastic. Location is great. Having the resort facilities really makes it a great experience for all. The management is very impressive and responsive.

The condo was perfect for our stay. We had an issue with the internet and Donna immediately had Spectrum on the phone and had it resolved. Donna was very helpful and we will be back. 10 stars out of 5 stars for Donna and the unit was well stocked and just perfect. We will be back! Dave

The place was great for my family of 5. The sunset views were awesome! That was my favorite part. The pool and hot tub were really nice as well and we used the fitness center. The resort access was unclear as to whether it could be for a single day or the full trip. Be advised you have to book it for the whole trip and they publish the daily rate. The local public beach (hapuna beach state park) was great and right next to the resort beach and the community pool was nicer than the resort pool.

In my opinion, the listing undersells the space. The condo is spacious and well outfitted with luxurious finishes. The resort is beautiful - both beaches were fantastic. We were able to get a round of golf in too! So grateful to have been able to have a fun family get together in paradise! Donna was also excellent. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a property wherein one could move in and stay forever! There are so many thoughtful touches that rendered it unnecessary for my family and I to make extra trips to the grocery, big box or drug store. We would love to come back next year!

The view stands out as the most wonderful part of our stay. Beautiful view of the water, golf course and goats frolicking in the long grasses. The condo is very nice built with high quality building materials - and it was soundproof! The AC was tricky but we got it figured out. The community pool snd workout room were perfect for our group!

This is our 6th stay at Mauna Kea and this was our favorite Wai Ula Ula condo. It’s in a perfect location and very well appointed. Don’t hesitate to rent this condo! Donna was so easy to work with and our check in was a breeze!

The home was beyond beautiful, with lovely, like-new furnishings and the most amazing view in the world. Access to the resort was easy, and a wonderful asset to make the stay even more pleasant. The location was superb - easy to get to a variety of attractions across the island, and just a great a spot for staying home and doing R&R. The host was responsive, friendly, and so helpful. A true home run.

The unit was very nice, great view, excellently furnished and well stocked with dishes and supplies. The local pool was nice but not well maintained as the spa jets did not work nor did outside shower or gate locks (gate was left open so could get in). The resort to which the unit belonged was a separate checkin process, at additional cost but was very beautiful. After paying in full well in advance as required we were hit with a price increase. Given we had already made and paid for travel including international travel to bring family we were stuck in paying the price increase. In the dozens of units we have stayed in over the years we have never been hit with a retroactive price increase.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 4 (2 grown young adult children), everyone had their own bedroom & bathroom, very comfortable beds, spacious and beautiful living area and lanai, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Very quiet and serene. The view of the ocean was beautiful - fun to watch the golfers while sitting on the lanai sipping a cocktail. We made great use of the amenities at both the Westin hotel and the Mauna kea Beach Resort. We used the exercise room at the amenity center which was a quick walk from the condo. Donna was very responsive and excellent to work with. We would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come again! Thank you!

We had an amazing time during our 11 day stay, the unit had a beautiful view, was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy and be comfortable during our time in Hawaii.

What a great stay. The house was clean, immaculate, and had every item you would need for a vacation. I have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and own one my self and this place "outside of mine" :-) was the cleanest and best maintained I have stayed at. The price was very fair and considering you can get access to the two major hotels less than five minutes away the savings can be huge over staying at the hotel. Not to mention you have 2000+ square feet of living space. The views were perfect and the onsite pool was less than a two minute walk and empty. It felt like we actually had our own private pool and spa. Overall I would recommend this to anyone for a great stay on the Big Island. Also Donna was very attentive and we are so glad that she talked us into not cancelling because of some family health issues.

Spectacular views of the ocean. This condo had everything we could have needed. We just bought food. Fun to watch the golfers and goats😂. Very private and quiet. We had ourselves and my sister and husband and the 2 master bedrooms were great. This is big enough for a family because of the 3rd bedroom and 3rd bath. The pool area in the community was beautiful. We went several times. We would definitely stay here again. Donna the property manager was fantastic and responded to messages promptly. Thanks Donna!

Our family had a terrific stay. The condo is exactly as advertised -- spacious, well stocked and what a view! Donna made everything easy for us. I'd love to come back and we all hated to leave.
We leveraged both the Mauna Kea and Westin Hapuna resorts extensively, and it was great being able to go between both.
Overall, it was the perfect vacation for this family.

My family enjoyed their stay very much. House was big, well stocked and well taken care of. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed full range of beach toys in garage.
Lovely view. Had problems with mosquitos early in stay. Manager arranged for treatment and it got much better.
Would go back. For those of you have not been to Mauna Kea Resort, the beach is fantastic. Short drive from the house. Kids also enjoyed the pool up by the house. Very nice.

Our family had visited Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island several times when our kids were small but it had been 10 years since our last trip. This was our first time in a condo rather than a hotel. This gave us more space with our adult children. We were able to cook a couple of diners as some of the Island restaurants are still dealing with less available tables and less staff. Make sure to reserve well in advance for your favorite places! The kitchen has nice appliances, and is well stocked. The dining table is large. The living room spacious enough for a big group. Each bedroom has its own large bathroom. The lanai has a table and chairs and lounge chairs and provides gorgeous views of the golf course and sunsets over the water. My husband happily played his ukelele most mornings and evenings outdoors. We primarily used the grill for cooking. There are no stairs to deal with and parking is provided. The garage has plenty of boogie boards. The neighboring units were quiet and the one that was owner occupied had a nice welcoming couple. We used the rec center near the unit a couple times for a quick dip. Otherwise we made use of the Hapuna and Mauna Kea facilities including pools, gyms, beaches, free towel service. The gyms both have Peleton bikes and free weights. Do
call ahead as a reservation is required to limit the number of people and masks must be worn. The manager Donna always responded immediately and was very accommodating with a late check out as we had a red eye home. We are already planning our next trip!!

Donna accurately represented this property in the listing. It is a beautiful spacious well equipped condo. It looks exactly like the photos in the listing. It has access to a great neighborhood infinity pool and fitness center as well. We paid the additional fee to have access to the Westin and Mauna Kea which were both amazing.
