Easy to find location. Great directions given by property management. Parking area is somewhat tight but do able. Small outdoor pool was enjoyed by the kids. Appreciated having some old lawn chairs to use. Kids enjoyed the boogie board that was there to use. All kitchen appliances and utensils that were needed were available. Appreciated the few steps away from the beach on days we didn’t want to drive anywheres. Quiet condo complex. A/c units good. Seafood restaurant next door - Isana. Overall great location for travellers on a budget that don’t need all the fancy stuff.

This is the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The location was great for beaches and seeing the island. The condo was quiet and spacious. We loved that the host had snorkeling gear, a cooler, and beach towels (and an umbrella) to use while there. It didn’t have air conditioning, but the condo got a great breeze with the windows open, and we didn’t need AC. Although the pool is not heated, it was also warm and nice. Our kids spent at least an hour swim every day. The condo also had walking access to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. The kitchen was stocked with many appliances and spices, which made it easy to cook some meals at home. The beds were comfortable. I really only have positive things to say about this place! The hosts put a lot of thought into making sure it was stocked with everything you could need, and we really felt like we were at home there. It looks like it’s been recently renovated with nice flooring and updated countertops in the kitchen. It was helpful to have drying racks and a washer/ dryer there. I highly recommend this condo. If we take another trip to The Big Island, I would absolutely want to stay here again!!

The condo is great! Perfect location. Kitchen had everything that we needed, beds were comfortable, and the beach supplies were an added bonus! Kathy was very responsive and professional. Would absolutely stay here again!

My husband ,Mother in law 2kids (15&8) and myself stayed in this cute condo it was perfect to watch the sun set and rise! The condo was clean and has pots pans dishes so we made dinners at the condo.The beach is across the street so we walked over every evening.I totally will tell friends and family about the condo and recommend it the couch is comfy( it is a little out dated as people put in the reviews) but it isnt ripped or dirty and the sleeper sofa was comfy!

We had a nice stay. Pool and property were kept nice.
Clean, just some hand and foot marks on walls of bedroom that were missed. The jet tub could use some scrubbing. Would not reccomend using as a bath tub, only shower. Useful items were available to us, pool toys, etc. The one bedroom has only a fan. I feel it would be beneficail to have a portable A/C if possible. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Conveniently located in a nice quiet spot of Kihei away from the more busier areas.The kitchen had everything we need for us to make breakfast before heading out for the day and dinner at night. Having 2 bathrooms was great. The neighbors were all respectful of each of each other. Check in process was a breeze. Internet speed was ok for regular surfing. Only 1 bedroom has an air conditioner but it wasnt working properly when we got there. Apparently the caretaker was already notified by the previous guest and they wanted to send someone to fix it however we were out on that day and didnt want to come back just to leave the keys for the repair man to get in. The next day or so i left the keys in the lockbox but no one came until the 3rd day when they told me that a repairman came but couldnt get in because i left the wrong key in the lockbox. Turns out i left the pool key which no one told me that there is a pool key or a sperate pool key. My bad i guess but after that i still kept the door keys in the lockbox everytime and never was the repair man came until we checked out so i dont know if that air conditioner has been fixed? The other thing I wish could have been done by the owner is to upgrade the TVs to a smart TV because the tvs were outdated and you van barely watch anything on the cable channels. It is a cheap ugrade that makes a lot of difference to the your guests experience. Other than that i think we enjoyed our stay overall and would probably consider going back

The condo came with all amenities as expected. The manager was responsive for a maintenance request. We had plenty of space for our group of 3 people. There are pleasant views from the patio of surrounding condos, pools, and a small view of the ocean.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. The two most important things I look for are cleanliness and comfortable beds. This place had both. It isn’t anything fancy, maybe a touch outdated, but if you don’t mind that, you should be happy. The kitchen has pretty much all you need. The location is decent, right by the ocean and in a quiet part of Kihei, but for swimming and playing there are much better beaches elsewhere. Big beach was one of our favorites and just 10 min south. The property management was very responsive. Fridge and freezer weren’t cooling sufficiently when we first got here, but I called and they were promptly over and fixed it while we were out on an excursion. Thanks for letting us stay!

Hadn’t been to Kihei. Perfect spot for a relaxing, homey, beach vacation, steps from the beach and there is a pool as well. Walking distance (or short drive) to the best farmers market (you need to meet Wayne) Sugar Beach Bakery, and so much more. Well appointed kitchen if you like to eat in some. Super comfy if that’s your style. We would go back.

Unit would benefit from a smart TV. Had a TV in the living room but only had a few local channels... Which is hard in our case because there wasn't much nightlife and having something to watch on TV in the evening is our way to end the night, it's an easy inexpensive upgrade that should be done.
Hall bathroom ( toilet ) broken I'm sure it will be addressed
Had to buy your own cleaning supplies which I guess is okay 🤷🏻♀️
Had all kitchen needs.
Great downstairs neighbors.
Great location perfect sunset beach! Centrally located, liked not being in the middle of the city but with in a few miles, blocks.

Working with Kathy to ensure everything was taken care of prior to arrival, and she also helped with the rental car reservation. The property was perfect sized for my small family. Tucked in a cute town RIGHT where we wanted to be. Able to walk right across the street to a beach with minimal waves which was perfect for our 4 year old. If we return to Maui, we would consider this as a return spot to stay! Right next door (could see from the kitchen) the BEST sushi and oyster spot on the island, Isana.

The property was good had all the accommodations that we needed including for beach activities. Only bad thing I can say is that it did get a little hot in the 2nd bedroom since that was the only room that didn’t have an AC unit just a dusty fan and ceiling fan to keep us cool. But other than that everything was good. Location was great close to lots of eats and things to do.

The apartment was clean and tidy. There were beach chairs, boards and a lot of beach towels. The kitchen was fully equipped with abundant spices and tools. The manager was nice and quick in repairing the food processor.

You get what you pay for, place was dated but pretty clean and had what you need to stay for a week, including dishes, pots, pans, also had some beach supplies(chairs, body boards, snorkels) plenty of towels. If you want a marriot room then pay for a Marriott room.

This is an older property poorly maintained.Filthy window sills, mold & rust air conditioner (only one bedroom with a/c).
Furniture so old & used it is shiney with sleek oil feel. Master bedroom bathtub is big, but brownish filth.
Bugs bugs bugs, 3 inch roaches, and roaches of every size. The toilet tank runs and the tank lid has to be lifted to make it flush, then you see thousands of roaches.
I called the manager Cathy upon checkout since we couldn’t figure out how to lock the keys- I reported these findings- she seemed clueless, no apology or refund offered. Do not recommend! Partial window view of ocean if you twist your neck. Do not rent!

Had fun staying at this property. It was super close to the beach, 2-3 minutes walk i think. There’s a lot of resto and grocery stores nearby too. The property is clean and the check in process is easy. My toddler enjoyed the pool as well. We only have minor problems is when we were about to wash the towels we’ve used, a day before we check out (as it it required) , the dryer is not properly working. So we have left the property with the towels still in the dryer. But other than that, it was a really nice place to stay in and kids had fun staying at the place.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay with a few family members from Phoenix. This condo is legitimately about 100 feet from the beach, which was great for sunsets — it is rocky though! Throughout our stay we visited Wailea, Lahaina, and Kahului… all of which were extremely close and easy drives. The 2 twin air mattresses worked out great for our younger family members & kitchen was a huge bonus to a hotel or resort. Parking is easy & everything was nice. Property manager is very friendly and responsive. Had a great time

My mom, son and husband enjoyed staying here this spring. Was wonderful location, quite and pretty much across from beach. The kitchen was wonderful with seasonings for cooking and tons of cook wear. Coolers, chairs and great body boards for enjoying the amazing beaches! Only complaint was that pool was closed for cleaning…my son had his heart set on swimming in pool. The place was clean, a/c worked great!

This condo served it's purpose. It had the things we needed to have a solid stay. The condo is in need of some TLC in several areas. Nothing that hindered our ability to settle in. If you aren't looking for an updated place this will fit the bill. We frequent Maui twice a year and northern Kehei up by the sugar beaches is not our favorite. The condo had most gear for the beach and it is literally a half block from the beach. Thanks

We have visited Maui a half dozen times and used VRBO on each occasion. This is the first property that we have rented, that we probably wouldn't return to. We like the location...quiet and removed from the busy center of town. And, the condo was roomy and at least superficially clean. It does, however, need a lot of updating. The furniture is old and grimey. Needs new paint and a general freshening up. It wouldn't take a huge investment to bring it up to a very comfortable level.

Unit was in much need of renovation and very tired looking. Jets in tub of main bath were filthy. It was obvious that only “light” housekeeping has been done in the past year or more. Pool are was small and needs updating. Stairs to 2nd floor are steep and the paint is chipping — not a great first impression. Mattresses in both bedrooms were hard and uncomfortable. When sitting on old/stained couch - you sank down a several inches. When I provided feedback to Paradise Vacations, they said it is a popular unit but that doesn’t make it a good unit.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the location of this condo! It worked perfectly for my family, and we would probably stay here again if we go back to Maui. It was walking distance to a great sushi restaurant and the beach. I also loved that there was a dedicated parking spot right at the bottom of the stairs. The neighborhood was nice, and we felt safe at all times. I just have 2 comments that aren’t 5 stars- the condo wasn’t really very clean when we got there. The toilets weren’t wiped down, the medicine cabinets were filthy so we didn’t even use them but would have loved to, the shower curtain liner in the guest bathroom was new but dirty and definitely needs to be washed, the kitchen cabinets need to be cleaned, and the floor needed to be mopped. My feet were black on the first day walking around barefoot and the last thing is it would have been nice if coffee was provided. Overall, a simple fix or change to the cleaning company would make this place 5 stars! Thank you for allowing us to stay here and feel comfortable and safe on our trip!

Had a great stay and the property was as described! Stayed with my parents and sister and we enjoyed the proximity to the beach! There were just 2 small things that could be improved. 1. We couldn't find any extra trash bags, so only had the trash bag that was in the trash can. 2. The jets in the tub in the master bedroom looked moldy. We certainly do not expect a spotless place, but thought the mold on the jets could have been cleaned. However, neither of these things would prevent us from staying at this property again. Check in was easy. The property manager was always helpful and responsive to all questions.

A good location for accessing all that the island has to offer. The beach near the condo however has a sewage issue and therefore no swimming.
Condo was well stocked and any problems were promptly remedied.
The choice in viewing on the television was sparse. Not a smart TV so we couldn’t use streaming and the cable channels offered were fewer than my airlines offered.
Parking was really tight.

Everything was great. Location was across from the beach. Minutes away from restaurants and stores. Only thing was parking. It was a tight squeeze driving in and out of 1 driveway and parking every night was a hassle. Other than that Everything was great. Quick response from property.

The pros: location, price, ease of check in, comfortable for my family of 5, in unit washer and dryer (a must after a day at the beach). Quiet neighborhood and felt very safe.
The cons: this unit is definitely older and has things that need fixed. The most obvious was the master bathroom fan and a couple other light switches. The 2nd bathroom outlet was coming out of the wall. The pullout couch bed needs replaced. Once we pulled it out the first night we couldn't get it to fold back up. And it definitely gets neglected in the cleaning process (full of sand and what looked like M&M crumbs). The screen door to the lanai doesn't like to stay on track and the kitchen window sill has moisture rot.
This condo worked well enough for our one week stay but unless these things got fixed and updated a bit I don't know that we would stay here again.

I was really happy with this place. I am happy it had 2 rooms, showers & air conditioners! Washer / dryer. All the necessary things you need for staying a week. Most of all, walk right across the road and there is the ocean. We swam basically right there daily, there was no reason to go anywhere else. I honestly and trying to save my money so I can go back sooner than later!

You can expect the standard/basic amenities, nothing fancy, small complex, parking next to the unit, beach is across the street, close to airport, etc. Lodging in Maui can be very expensive and this unit is definitely an affordable option

This place was clean. It has a weber grill, a stalked kitchen, 6 beach chairs, & everything you need to wash clothes, soap included, the dishwasher worked very well. Our family enjoyed the cable T.V. on evenings when we came back to rest.

This place was a great space for our family of 6 (kids ages 22, 19, 13, & 12). There were a few items that needed repair - light in the dining area, stool at the counter, toilet flush handle in the main bathroom, and a lamp in the master bedroom. All were manageable for us. The quick walk to the beach was great at sunset. Kihei is a great central location and is normally very nice weather compared to the rainy side of the island. There were boogie boards, umbrellas, towels, and chairs that we used at the beach. Nice place and great location!
