The view from the room is amazing! We watched turtles swimming in the ocean from our room on multiple afternoons! We enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing all night long. The only complaint was that the room does get very warm in the afternoon when the sun is coming through the window/door.

We’ve stayed in this rental before. We love this unit! Bree, the host, is very responsible and responsive. You’ll see some of the best sunsets in the world from the lanai.

This was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. The views were spectacular and you got to enjoy the whales and turtles from your balcony. It was so nice to sit out on the balcony at any time and enjoy a meal or a drink and take in the peaceful sounds and views of the ocean. The reef makes it a great place for kids and adults to snorkel and see fish and sea turtles. We look forward to returning in the future with our children and grandchildren.

We stayed nine nights celebrating our 30th anniversary (actually 31 years as we postponed last year due to covid) and this studio was perfect! Working with Bree made everything so easy and we really appreciated her getting back to us so quickly for anything we inquired about. You won't be disappointed staying here and we can't wait to come back again someday!

We stayed at this property for 8 days in February and had an absolutely amazing time! The bed was comfortable and you can't beat waking up and looking out at the ocean from bed. There is no a/c but with the big doors and fans we were plenty cool the entire stay. You can't beat the location, looking right out on the ocean and a great whale watching site. Having our own private grass and sand beach was fantastic and made the days relaxing in the afternoon from our home base amazing! Easy access to snorkeling, great food and not an overly busy facility so feels very quiet and relaxed. Bree was super easy to communicate with and work with. We will be staying here again for sure!

The studio condo was a perfect place to call home for a week. At first glance walking into the room is the view — it’s spectacular! The place was lovely and clean, kitchen nicely stocked with necessities for cooking, and the location was perfect. Paki Maui has a nice grass area for sun bathing or whale watching, plus a nice sandy beach area when the tide is low. It’s also a great place to swim or snorkel in the ocean. Across the street offers two excellent take out restaurants - Fish Market and Okazuya. We ate at both places numerous times during our stay. Oh, and the Whales! We spent many hours on the Lanai just watching the whales. There were so many breaching, flapping and blowing as far as the eye could see. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much.

This is our second time at Paki Maui and we LOVE the property! It is well maintained and snorkeling and swimming right in front of the property. Yes, it faces west and can get a little warm in the afternoon, but if you close the curtains, relax on the lounge chairs on the lawn, you have the perfect place to watch the sunset! There are 3 ceiling fans, 2 free standing fans, so most nights we were able to close the doors at night and sleep comfortably. We saw turtles and whales breaching everyday. We took 2 boat trips to snorkel and dolphin watch with Pacific Whale Foundation and highly recommend an excursion with them. And don't forget the chocolate macadamia nut pie at Leoda's outside of Lahania.

This is the perfect setup for couples, you can literally see whales and sea turtles from your bed. The view alone is worth the price and the accommodations are great!

We love the location of the complex and the rooms right on the water are the best. We spend alot of time on our private lanai watching the ocean, turtles, and distant whales. We love the layout with the bed by the ocean. We do wish the complex accepted recycling. Also, with no a/c it would be nice to have a screen door at the entrance to get a cross breeze. Other units just left there front doors open but we didn’t want to do that. Thanks for a wonderful week on the best island in Hawaii.

The positives; yes, its a good size for 2 ppl and the bed was comfortable. When the ocean calm, it was nice, but most of our stay included rough seas and hot weather. We found it difficult to sleep at night with the CONSTANT pounding of the surf on the TWO parallel reefs RIGHT OUT the window. Closing the doors to shut out the sound made the unit unbearable to sleep because of the heat. There were many fans; but one did not even work! It is located in a great area, but you still have to drive to find the beach. Perhaps the upper floors in this building are better for noise. I would never stay here again, not until they install Air Con.
Bree was great to work with; on our last minute booking. It was our fault for not noticing the NO A/C note.
The bathroom is TINY and the pocket door to the WC needs to be fixed. My wife fixed the sink plug. The kitchen could use a few more items; like only ONE wine glass...come on!? But really, we never cooked ONCE in the Unit...couldn't bear to add more heat to the unit. One of the only ways to cool the unit down at night was to leave the back/hallway door open to get a breeze going through...but then everyone gets to look into the unit as they walk by....and it was 3 units away from the elevator.

Great views! A sea turtle sighting daily and close to great restaurants and activities. We stayed there when there were record highs (106) so would have loved a little AC but was still doable with fans and the wind coming off the ocean. Would highly recommend this property

We had a wonderful trip, from morning coffee on the patio, to falling asleep to the sounds of the waves. Great location! Not as "touristy" as some of the other locations, giving a quieter, more enjoyable feel, but still all the the shops around you for anything you may need. Loved that there was "little stuff" like spices, coolers, lunch bags, snorkel equipment and more, left by previous renters, saved us quite a bit of money. Daily sea turtles seen swimming by! We would not hesitate to return.

The condo was perfect for my boyfriend and myself. We fell asleep to the sound of the ocean each night, enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The condo was clean and reasonably priced for the location. We would definitely come back!!!!

The condo is nice and well stocked. The ocean view couldn't be better and it so nice to sit out on the Lanai at sunset. The rooms does need a little TLC. The lanai chairs are ripping and I am pretty sure they are the same ripped ones from my stay last year. The wall is all scraped up behind the large chair, and there was sand in a bowl in the cabinet. I think the condo should come with more than 1 set of sheets for a weeks stay in a hot and muggy climate, and also more towels. The four large towels and 3 hand towels were fine but the 2 washcloths is a little ridiculous.

We had an excellent time at Paki Maui 102A. We were looking for a condo that is close to the ocean, restaurants and good beaches for snorkeling. We like west Maui for all these things but resorts in this area are very expensive! This unit fits all of those categories and comes with an unbelievable value for the location! We watched beautiful sunsets from our lanai. There was no need to go searching for sea life, we watched breaching humpback whales and sea turtles from the property every day. On two of the days we got the rare opportunity to see a Monk Seal on the beach directly in front of the condo. The beach out front isn’t the best for snorkeling but it’s only a 5 min drive to Kaanapali beach or 8 min to Kapalua Bay.
When staying anywhere there are 3 things that I look for and at the top of the list is cleanliness! This unit was very clean! I was a little worried because of a recent review posted mentioning little flying bugs. I did not see a single bug in the unit the entire time we were there. Second, is the bed comfortable? I thought the bed was a bit firm for my liking, but I have definitely slept on much worse. My husband said the bed was fine but didn’t like the pillows. Third, noise level. I hate it when you can hear every footstep or door closing from the units around you. This property and unit are sooo quiet. The walls and ceiling are thick so you never hear your neighbors when in the room. The only sound I did hear was the sound of the ocean and it was fantastic!
The only hiccup happened when trying to get into the room. Our code to the key box wasn’t working but a quick call to Bree, property manager, resolved that in about 30 seconds and the rest of the vacation was magical. We will definitely stay at this unit again!

I booked this condo for my husband's surprise 30th birthday trip to Maui. Upon arriving, we discovered that the condo did not have AC. We were not aware of this. We contacted the property manager right away. She was easy to get a hold of and understanding. She offered to send an additional fan to the condo. The condo does have fans but it doesn't help if there's a lot of hot air but perhaps that's part of the island, indoor/outdoor living. We kept the sliding doors open with the screen closed and some nights were cool and manageable but day time was difficult. As a result, the unit felt very dingy. The kitchen was well equipped with all necessary items which was a big help. Some parts of the unit were not thoroughly cleaned but it was manageable. The most disappointing part was turning on the kitchen fans on my husbands birthday only to find out that hundreds of little dead bugs were in those light fixtures that hadn't been cleaned out and flew all over the unit including into our suitcases. Feeling very frustrated on the very day we booked this whole trip for, I spent a good chunk of that evening writing a long, explanatory message to the property manager all while having bugs all over me and still have not received a reply. I delayed writing this review waiting to hear back. Overall, the condo is located in a beautiful area in Lahaina and the views are great. The unit has conveniences but was not entirely a pleasant experience due to the issues listed above.

The whole experience was pretty seamless, love the unit. Just nitpicking, but would have been nice if the owner would have checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable. They did check in after an extreme storm and power outage. Guess we were just spoiled from the previous owners.
Again, nitpicking, but the bed pillows were like rocks, we ended up buying our own softer ones and we never watched TV because the reception was terrible.
Overall, love the unit and location.
