The condo was great! The oceanfront view was amazing and we saw turtles from the balcony every morning! We didn't do much cooking here but the kitchen seemed sufficiently stocked. The beds and pillows were comfortable. There are towels for the pool and beach. We would definitely stay here again!

we had an amazing stay and really enjoyed this property. The views are nothing less than spectacular and the sounds of the ocean all night provided for the best sleep one could ask for. The kitchen was well appointed and made meal making very easy. It was truly as great place to stay for the week.

Had a great time watching turtles from the lanai each morning. We even saw a pod of dolphins one morning.
It’s a leisurely walk (less than a mile) to a couple of shopping centers and beaches.
The unit had a good amount of beach gear to use. The beds and the living room furniture were comfortable. Some pads on the outside chairs would be nice but that’s a small thing.
Overall, we had a great time.

There are certainly cheaper accommodations in Kauai, but if you are within this price range and don’t have a huge group, Alihi Lani is a rare find. Uninterrupted views of the ocean and sunset with sea turtles easily visible in the waves. Walking distance to Sheraton Beach, Several Restaurants, and a very short drive to Poipu Beach Park. A small but stellar pool and Lanai. The unit could use some better kitchen and bbq equipment, and the porch furniture is falling apart. But otherwise everything is clean and easy to access.

We had a wonderful time at Alihi Lani. We took advantage of the close proximity to restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our time in awe of the view, and could easily spot dolphins and Honu right from the lanai. Unit 6 does not have central A/C but that was not a big deal. Most of the nights the trade winds kept the unit perfectly comfortable, and the one night it was needed the wall A/C units worked great. The property managers were easy to communicate with, and allowed us to feel right at home! We will definitely return next year!

We absolutely loved our stay; the views of the ocean cannot be beat. The condo easily accommodated our group of four adults and two small children. With only six units in the building the pool was never busy. We’d love to come back!

First of all, the photos of the condo are accurate. Such a quiet and beautiful property! We wished there was a bit more light by the grills. We couldn’t find a spatula, so bought one and left it so others can cook eggs, etc.

Have been coming to Kauai for years and this is, hands down, the best place we have ever stayed at. Unbelievable view of the ocean and sunsets. Solid building (no noise), very clean and AC in every room! Definitely a return location for us.

Our family has recently experienced the loss of four very close family members in a seven month period. I felt the need to bring my children together for a healing of our broken hearts. This location is nothing less than magic. The second we walked in the door with the view of the ocean before us, the healing began. The condo was comfortable, lovely, and well appointed with everything we needed. Sitting on the lanai one story up made for a spectacular vista. There was a full moon and the sunsets were breathtaking. Daytime surfers, sea turtles, crashing waves and delightful breezes made this one of the most beautiful places I’ve experienced. Thank you for sharing this dream spot with us. Anne was easy to work with and responded quickly to our questions. I’m ready to return some day.

This property is truly a great one. The ocean views were great. We were able to see a couple whales one day and turtles everyday from our balcony. Although it had air conditioning, we didn't use it. Opened the front door and balcony door which gave us a great breeze.
Easy check in and check out. Responses from Anne were timely. Walkable to beach and market close by.

The condo was within walking distance of great snorkeling. Fantastic views of the ocean and whales. Turtles can be seen from the lanai too. Great sunsets too. It was well appointed and the property manager was great at communication.

Ten days with 2 couples! Loved the lanai, the view, the ocean! Everything we needed plus extras - snorkel gear, Boogie boards, chairs, cooler - perfect for enjoying Poipu Beach just down the road. Very convenient location- 2 shopping centers with lots of restaurant options close by! We’ll be back!!

We truly enjoyed the time at the property. Convenient location close to the beach and shopping centers, great views from the lanai. The listing has to be updated though as there was one queen bed in the smaller bedroom instead of two twins as advertised.

Alihi Lani #6 was perfect for us. The view of the ocean was breath-taking. We were not only able to watch the sunset, but the beautiful waves breaking on the rocks, hundreds of dolphins and sea turtles, and even a couple of whale sightings! Anne and Mackenzie (property managers) were attentive to everything we needed, but honestly, the property is so well-equipped and so comfortable that we didn't need anything at all during our stay. I loved how they contacted us a couple of days before to answer any questions for us or see what they could do to make our stay the most comfortable. We will definitely return again. Thank you, Anne & Mackenzie, we will definitely return!

As advertised. The property mgmt team were prompt with communication and very helpful. The quality of furniture and appliances is as expected. The location is great. The lanai views are impressive.
Improvements? I would be nitpicking but sharing here not to discourage a future renter but to help make this go from a 5* to a 6* property: more hangers for week+ long stays with 4 people, the insect screen in the lanai could use some fixing since it is noisy when you open/close and doesn't operate smoothly, one of the appliances (I think the fridge) makes a disconcerting and persistent electrical noise that one could do without.

Out of 5 stars I would honestly give it 6! Outstanding condo in a great location. Great amenities and fully stocked. The lanai was awesome to hang out on in the morning with coffee and to watch the sunset every night. The pool area was perfect for relaxing in the sun. The entire condo really felt like home away home. We can’t recommend it more highly!! A++

Alihi Lani was wonderful. Rooms were spacious and exactly as the photos showed. The view was incredible and we spent a lot of time on the porch. Great location to restaurants, beach, and shopping. We stayed with our two teenagers and having the twin beds was great. The only recommendation I had was that the stove does not work properly; two of the burners do not work and the other two do not work well. Apparently a new stove is on order but may not arrive until September. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and the place is lovely.

My wife and I stayed here for two during in mid June 2021 for our honeymoon. The unit is very "livable" - comfortable beds, good kitchen, great layout for relaxing/meals/sitting on the deck. The unit has an excellent view of the coast and sunset (the best view in the building). We kept the windows open at night to listen to the sound of the waves. The location is very good - walkable to Poipu Beach (where I surfed most days), a short drive to town (Long's Drugs and a great outdoor mall with several restaurants) or Koloa (many great places to eat). It's also centrally located for max 1 hr drive to longer hikes (we did several in the Waimea area on the West and several on the other side of the island closer to Lihue); this unit is centrally located for driving to either side of the island. Finally, the property managers were responsive and very helpful with anything that came up. Would stay here again!

Beautiful place overlooking the ocean. Would love to come back here. 5 minutes walk to the Poipu beach. Pretty close to the main attractions here in Kauai. Comfortable unit with pool and barbecue area.
