The property itself is a little run down, but the unit was decent and the view cannot be beat. Some kitchen towels and hot pads would have been nice. But the highlight was by far the view, which was totally worth it. Lots of stuff to walk to for food and shopping.

First off the location is great and the view is beautiful. The listing pictures are not accurate and there are some issues that need addressing in the home. Our issue came on day 3 when we told the host that we would be out of toilet paper by the next day. His reply was that this “wasn’t a hotel “ and we would have to buy our own. Only after I threatened to mention that in my review did he offer to send some over the next day. We were also out of garbage bags and there was no handsoap in any of the 3 bathrooms. When the lady came by the next day to drop the stuff off she was told she was only allowed to give us one bar of soap. One of the mini hotel bars. She said she thought it was ridiculous too but that was her instructions. We never did get detergent for the dishwasher I guess that’s what happens when you don’t care about whether your clients are looked after when you charge them the kind of money that they do. Even the crappiest motels at least give you soap and toilet paper.

Our family stayed here in January. It was my husband and myself and our two twenty-ish kids. We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was great and within walking distance of a lot of stuff. There was plenty of room for the four of us, and our kids were able to each have their own room. I had read comments about the elevator being slow and that the washer/dryer didn't work very well, but we did NOT find this to be true at all. It looked like the dryer lint trap had not been emptied in a long time, but we removed the lint and it worked great! The only negative was that there were hardly any drinking glasses, regular utensils (spatulas, mixing spoons, etc. for cooking) and serving bowls. Other than that very minor issue, it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again!

It was difficult to find a place large enough to comfortably accommodate 6 adults and this was one of the few options available. This penthouse worked perfectly for us. It’s a short walk to Waikiki beach, Kalakaua Ave with lots of shopping and restaurants, International Marketplace, Ala Moana mall, and TWO 7-11s. 7-11s on Hawaii are nothing like 7-11s on the mainland. They’re safe, clean, and have a large variety of delicious musubi (rice balls) The unit itself was spacious and had incredible views. We could see Diamond Head, Waikiki, Punchbowl, and the Friday night fireworks. There’s a huge balcony that’s nice to sit on to watch sunsets. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for the few meals we prepared. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit, which came in handy. It was nice to have lots of beach towels available. There’s also some beach toys if you have kids. Parking is available for $40/day (cash) or there’s a Hui car rental right in the bldg. There’s also bus stops nearby and you can get to and from the airport for $3/person The location is great. We walked to Zippy’s (best fast food!), Kona Coffee Purveyors (best lattes), House Without A Key at Halekulani (best breakfast buffet). I wanted to go to Arnold’s Beach Bar (heard they have good, cheap drinks) but ran out of time. It’s about block from the unit. Appreciated the clear communication with the property managers. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Mahalo!

There was 7 adults that stayed in this penthouse. Plenty of room for all. Easy check in. Other reviews complained about the elevators. We never had an issue with them, considering we were on the 44th floor. The view from the penthouse is beautiful. If I had to say anything negative about this place would only be the mattress on the sofa bed needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable for an adult. All other beds extremely comfortable. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. We would love to come back.

This property was great for me and my husband, and our parents. The elevators are very quick and appear to have been recently upgraded, so we had no issues like some prior commentors did. Some of the condo is run down, e.g., bubbling paint in places, toilet paper holders fall off walls, but given the view, location, and size, this is an excellent value for the price. Also, when we had an issue with the tv, the property manager was very responsive and fixed it within a couple hours.

Check in was excellent. Hotel counter will not assist you as they are only there for hotel customers and not 3rd party. Elevators are an issue. 3 elevators with 1 broken whole time we were there. Parking was $40/day cash but you can get in/out whenever you want. Picture of inside of apartment is not accurate. Furniture is old and worn down, really takes away from the beautiful view and what the apartment could really look like, needs someone to put fresh paint and new furniture in living room and it would be dynamite. Bedrooms were great, beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were small but accomodating. Kitchen was fine and great to have washer and dryer. Very close to beaches (15-20 minute walk or 5 min drive drop off. Having a car is not worth it if you are just going shopping and to the beach. Had an issue with AC and they fixed it within 24 hours and provided a credit without asking, real classy move. Balcony overlooking Honolulu at night is breathtaking

Place was decent. Check in was easy. Elevators takes forever!!! View from the condo was amazing! Furniture looks run down. They need to update the information online, WiFi is different. When entering room, it smelt really old. There is ac but you need to let it run the whole day/night to get the place cold. I think all bathrooms should have locks, 1 out of 3 had a lock. There was this weird odor in the entire place and another odor in the upstairs bathroom. Showers are cute but small. Water pressure is very soft. Beds were okay. Parking information needs to be updated online. Parking was easy to find. 1 parking per condo. No guess parking. It was a bit hard to read the words on the stove to see the temperature. Overall, we (2 families) made the best of it for 3 nights. I’ll rate this 3 stars just because the view was amazing!

Pros: * The view * # of bedrooms/bathrooms * Somewhat updated kitchen although definitely not a kitchen to do much cooking (stove knobs are all worn out) Cons: * EVERY second Tuesday of every month, the water is turned off from 11-3 * Dryer doesn't work...seems like it has been like that for months * Our "keys" didn't work for one out of two elevators * Living room furniture needs replacing despite the note that said they are new * Upstairs bedroom sliders need replacing. * "normal" supplies (compared this to our Maui's VRBO) are minimal...when I reached out to the property manager they did respond quickly, once with bringing supplies quickly and once saying paper towels are not part of the supplies. OVERALL, our expectation after reading the description was way too high. Expect minimal, expect some wait time with the elevators (44th floor).

While the location of the penthouse was perfect, the unit looks nothing like the photos. The upstairs room did not have a television nor a sitting area as indicated in the photos. The furniture in the photo is not what’s in the living area. There are two sofas; no chairs. The bathrooms are extremely small.

We stayed here throughout the week of wedding festivities and the location was perfect for what we needed. Everyone was comfortable, the views were incredible and the kitchen was was equipped. We had some challenges with the washer but nice to have available. Plan accordingly on timing for the duration of the elevator :) Thank you for sharing this space with us!

Beautiful penthouse condo in downtown Honolulu! Within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. The views from the rooftop are unparalleled! The AC in the main area did not work, which was uncomfortable for the person staying on the pull put couch. The dryer was broken as well. The only other odd thing was there wasnt a bathroom door for one bathroom which made it uncomfortable to use. The wait foe the elevators was excessive, which waa frustrating. Would absolutely recommend staying here once the AC and dryer was fixed!

This rental is in a great location, close to the ocean and to shopping and restaurants. It is also a penthouse with great views. The property, itself, is nice with plenty of room for 8 people. We enjoyed our stay very much - thank you!

This property has a gorgeous view and was very comfortable for 6 people to stay. Because you’re on the top floor, you need to wait on the elevator some but it wasn’t inconvenient. Very lovely place. Parking is convenient.

We stayed here for 9 nine nights and it was a great space to host our party of six (three couples). Each couple had their own bedroom and the communal space was large enough to fit all of us but small enough that it felt cozy. We appreciated it being a 10 minute walk from the beach, close to a great 7-Eleven (on the corner), and near a food truck lot (across from the 7-Eleven). We were a ten minute walk from downtown Waikiki, off several bus stops (we didn't rent a car), and the view from the apartment was incredible. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, there is laundry in-unit (with laundry sheets! Such a great alternative to laundry soap jugs), there were plenty of towels, some beach supplies, and a table that comfortably fit 6 people. Our primary issue with the unit was that construction was going on in the building so the rooftop terrace was completely unusable and there was a lot of noise and people just outside the windows from 7/8am to 5 pm. We understand this was out of the owners control, but we were not notified in advance. We were just surprised when we arrived. Similarly, on day 7 of 9, the water was shut off in the building from 11 am to 4 pm. We were also not notified of this in advance. We just saw a sign in the elevator a few days before the scheduled maintenance. This is also out of the control of the owner, but for the price paid to stay there for nine days, we would have liked to have been notified in advance of staying in the unit of the water shut off and the building maintenance that put the terrace out of commission and resulted in a lot of noise. The ceiling also leaked in the master bedroom after some heavy rainfall, the bathroom nearest to the two main floor bedrooms head saloon doors so there was no privacy for the person using the toilet there (we also had to notify the whole unit if we were using it so someone didn't walk in), and the shower nearest to the front door only had cold water. We couldn't figure out most of the light switches because some worked and some didn't and some existed only to turn outlets on and off. There is also no ventilation system in the kitchen while cooking and the living room windows did not have weather stripping between them so we could feel warm air coming inside and slightly see between the glass panels. The gap is very very small, but still there...and much more!

No issues at all! Thai place is impressive and the views are beautiful. It’s everything the listing says and more. Owners were easy to reach and communicated flawlessly. We had 5 people staying with us and all of us were very pleased. I would recommend to everyone and plan on staying again

February 2023
The views from this condo are indescribable! The only drawback is that they face west, which can make for a warm afternoon in the living area and kitchen. As long as you remember to close the blinds before the sun moves to the west, it's not unbearable but our stay was in January. However, the blinds are older and not all in working condition so it does make it difficult to open and close them. The living area needs more furniture to comfortably accommodate 6 adults. We routinely used chairs from the dinning table so we could all sit in the living area together. More utensils in the kitchen to cook with would be helpful, but if you don't intend on cooking during your stay, you shouldn't have to worry. All of the beds are very comfortable. In one of the lower rooms, you can't open the drawers enough for the storage cabinets that are in the closet, making it impossible to use. One of the bathrooms has "Saloon style" doors which leaves ZERO privacy while using the bathroom. There were plenty of towels to include beach towels, so save space in your luggage and don't bring beach towels from home. Although it says they give a discount for parking if you show your key, they do not. The only discount they offer is if you pay in advance (cash only) for your stay. Parking is $45 daily, but if you prepay it drops to $40 a day. If your are late removing your vehicle from the garage, they will stop you and charge you for the overage. Starting at $8 an hour and goes up.

The condo was just beautiful. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the amenities. We could have used a dishcloth (it did have a sponge) and one more dish towel. The closet with beach stuff had lots of item for pool or beach. We enjoyed the fact that there was a bakery, small store and restaurants on the main level. That came in handy. It was unfortunate that there were scaffolds on the rooftop patio during our stay but we managed and the owner did make good on this. I would totally recommend this 3 bedroom & 3 bath condo, it’s so central that you can walk to many places.

This property was great. It was just big enough for our family of 5 adults. Bathrooms were plenty big for everyone. It was nice having three bathrooms. The beds were comfy. The only thing was there no tissue to use. We looked everywhere for it. Also, you can hear the elevators going up and down all day and night. After the first day we got use to the noise. That was the only dowfall to his lovely condo.

It is a beautiful place but not exactly as advertised in the pictures. The barbeque doesn't work, no water in the kitchen/ laundry for two days and substandard elevators that we got stuck in twice and call box does not work.

We are from the Philippines , visited my brother in Kona and stayed in Honolulu for 4 nights before heading back home. We had a great time staying here. The unit is clean with a a very nice view of the city and waikiki beach, and the location is perfect. All establishments, restaurants are walking distance . Though there are some problem with the shower stall during our stay, but they were able to fixed it right away. The only problem is the weak internet connection, but I don't know if it is a City wide problem because we also encountered the same when we were in Kona. Overall, we had a pleasant stay here . This trip started when our 86 year old Aunt stated she wanted to see Pearl Harbor as part of her bucket list. We found this property in downtown Waikiki. The property is pretty much as described. It is a penthouse condominium. The view faces directly south. From the rooftop patio there is a partial view of Diamondhead to the east, and a full view of the ocean directly south. The property is located in the heart of downtown Waikiki. There is a short walk to the beach, or an easy drop-off from the accessible parking garage. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. There are three full bathrooms with showers. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great view. The building itself is not super luxury. It is partial hotel and partial condos. The pool is OK. The elevators work well and we didn't have to wait a long time. The parking garage is directly attached to the property. The only issue would be if you rent an oversized vehicle. We had a Ford Expedition and were able to use garage without a problem. The unit itself if very comfortable. There are way to many mirrors, but otherwise, it was great. The rooftop patio was definitely the highlight. This property is located in the heart of Waikiki, with spectacular views from the kitchen and the rooftop. At the price listed, it is a good value.

Condo is at a perfect location to get to many places by foot. It has great charm. The roof top is unbeatable. Rainbow every morning and amazing sunset and views of the ocean and city. We really enjoyed the bakery in the lobby every morning!.if i need to find something to complain i would say the parking was $40 cash every day and the elevator took forever.

May 2022
Good location to public transportation. The place had all the kitchen accommodations to cook for yourself. It was nice they had 3 beach towels and pool toys provided. The parking was a big issue. The parking lot associated with the building was a scam. Vehicles over 6’2” they charge $100 per day!!! Down the street across a short walk across from the Hilton Hawaiian Village was $200 a month. I believe the parking garage with an open roof was call Ala Moana. It was cheaper to get the monthly pass. The closest beach was at Hilton Hawaiian Village.as well. The upper bedroom with a balcony, 44 floors up would not make this a good place for children.

April 2022
This property was as nice as advertised and everyone enjoyed the coziness of the condo. The balcony was nice to sit out on and enjoy the fresh air and have a drink. One of the bathrooms doesn't have a full door that locks which was a little awkward but there are three bathrooms in total so it wasn't a huge deal. Overall a good stay in Hawaii.

This property was within walking distance to Waikiki beach, the International Marketplace, and lots of great eateries. Being on the very top floor penthouse with an outdoor patio and incredible views all around we’re incredible. Rainbows, sunrises, sunsets, mountain and ocean views,…incredible. Inside, plenty of room for the seven adults. Parking is a little bit of a pain, but otherwise, the location suited us very well as we traveled daily to different parts of the island. It was the vacation of a lifetime.

This property is perfect for the views and close to everything. My wife and I brought both of our parents. And it worked perfectly for us. We took the upstairs bedroom, they took the two bottom floor bedrooms, but the only thing that was odd was the bathroom close to the two rooms. has swinging saloon doors? No privacy Not sure why that is made like that.. It should be changed. So they used the hall bathroom which has a shower etc. The balcony is only upstairs, but it’s amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Oh and the breakfast places downstairs in the lobby is great as well. Cold brew coffees and pastries as well as other stuff! There is a 7 eleven store about a block away on the corner and Waikiki Brew and company is like a neighborhood bar and grille. And the beach is about a 10 min or so walk, depending on where you want to go on it.

The only suggestion is that the upstairs toilet needs a new seat. The current one shifts and can be awkward. Otherwise, it’s A-1

When you first walk in you’re overwhelmed by the beauty of the view. But the longer you stay there the more you see there are things not quite right about the place. So I’m going to leave some honest feedback from my entire family in hopes that the owners consider some changes: 1) the upstairs loft room is beautiful. There’s a deck that has such a great view of the city, water and mountains. But one of the walls is a see through stained glass window with no privacy. The shower is tiny and uncomfortable and the seal on the sliding glass doors have condensated so much, that there are signs of mold spores in the corners. The deterioration has made it difficult to even open the doors. 2) the two bedrooms downstairs are a great size and beds were comfy however the bathroom has like swing bar doors which had no privacy whatsoever. 3) kitchen was great and the view from the kitchen was amazing. But the washer and dryer that they provided had no detergent. People don’t normally travel with detergent. They provided all the other items like dishwashing liquid, soap, dishwashing detergent so it didn’t make sense to not have laundry detergent especially since they advertised that they had a washer and dryer. 4) this place is beautiful so it was difficult to see that bedspreads and pillow cases were old and warn along with extra blankets. The towels were too. I just feel for a small amount of money for little things, could have made this place so much better especially for the amount you pay. We ended up leaving a day early.

The downstairs restrooms lack privacy! 1 has a swinging door & the lock in the one was not working. We had a group of 8 so it’s weird to have to be cautious & make sure we knock on every entry. We booked for 7 nights but was left with a total of 3 tissue papers. Had to run to Longs Drugs for more. 🤦‍♀️🙄 The A/C upstairs did not work on our day of checkin but management sent the handyman within 2hr. 1 of the manual room access keys was bent so it didn’t work. Management dropped off another one the next day which was quite inconvenient since our party of 8 had different plans for dinner. We had to pick up the 1 working key from the other half of the party I. Order to get back into our room. 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️ The elevator to the penthouse is extremely slow. We rented a van but the hotel did not have parking for oversized vehicle so we had to get paid parking 7min away. Overall, it wasn’t what we all expected. We will book a different place on our next trip.

Views. Views and a better view. It was beautiful, but you can imagine with all those windows, the place could get warm. We shut the window coverings during the day when we were mot home, and that helped. The manager was very responsive and helpful. I would rent there again.

The property is close to the beach with outstanding views. The unit is nicely decorated and has a beautiful stained glass wall in the master BR. Overall, a very nice property. However, the floors were not cleaned well and we were expected to accommodate maintenance visits (pesticide treatment and furniture delivery) while renting the unit. TV in master needs to be replaced and cable service not available on all TVs.

I cannot think of anything else that this penthouse could have offered! We came with two other couples and got married on the North Shore at Papailou Beach. Each room has a queen size bed, or a king size bed. There are 3 full bathrooms which was so convenient! There are no bathtubs, but for 3 couples, it was perfect! There were a few items to use for the beach like a beach chair, a boogie board, and like 5 Beach towels in case you forgot those. Washer and dryer were so nice to keep the towels clean the week we were here. The pull out couch is also incredibly comfortable. There is a parking garage to park the car in, and it is $35/ night and is cash only. The Cream Pot in the hotel is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC for breakfast!!! The views are breathtaking! There is a grill on the balcony, but it did not have propane when we visited. Plenty of cooking utensils and a small dishwasher. There is security that will check your bags for $10 for all bags and they are open 24/7, so if you arrive early or leave later than check in/out, there is a way to keep your bags safe. Less than a mile away is downtown Wakiki, and has all the shopping you can imagine, and incredible food within walking distance! It is such a gem, and definitely worth the price!

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
