This property is wonderful because of its location. Just steps to the beach or pool! The unit is nice, but could use a few upgrades. The unit did have everything you need for your stay. We loved that the lanai went out to a grassy area for our kids to run around. We would stay again!

We had a great vacation here. A comfortable well-stocked condo in a great location. Napili Shores Resort is beautiful, the grounds & pools are well-kept & it's right next to Napili Bay & walking distance to Kapalua Bay. The condo had everything we needed- towels, beach towels, a small cooler- & the bed was comfortable. We did not need to use the A/C in early May.

I would give this property and unit a four out of five overall. First, the good points: Napili Shores is a great property that elicits rave reviews and steadfast dedication from the regulars who visit. The property is well-manicured with direct access to beautiful Napili Bay (though the short pathway is slightly challenging). Both on-property restaurants serve quite good food at reasonable prices (in the context of Maui). The location is close to grocery shopping, a few restaurants, and a farmers' market (occurring on Wed and Sat). The main pool and jacuzzi are warm and open from 8a to 10p. Regarding B-109 specifically, the unit is located right next to the beach access gate and pathway, and there's an outdoor shower right there when you come onto the property to wash off the sand from the beach. The unit itself is clean and well-supplied, and the room setup was convenient. Next, how unit B-109 could improve: When we first walked into the room, there was a strong mildewy, musty odor that eventually mostly dissipated with all the windows open. After one opens the window louvers, there is a really nice breeze, and in our case, we never turned on the air conditioning the entire time we were there (though I imagine it could get hot and might be needed). The furniture and fixtures are fine, but they really should be upgraded for the price being paid. The entire unit would benefit from a serious remodel or at least a paint job. I also think that the lack of an in-room safe is a serious defect that should be remedied at once. Finally, you might see some other reviews in Vrbo talking about the noise in the morning from the shuffleboard court near B-109, and it is accurate. Starting around 6:45 to 7:00 every morning, as people line up for the Gazebo restaurant, their bored children go to the "attractive nuisance" of the shuffleboard and, not knowing how to play, start attacking the equipment as if it were a hockey rink. It didn't really bother us too much, and once the restaurant starts calling in people (and their kids), the noise tends to go away. However, I can see how it might bother other people, especially if you like to sleep past 7 AM. The owners of the unit should use their influence as owners to talk to the management about the noise. After all, the pools are closed for "quiet hours" from 10p to 8a, so why not the shuffleboard? Overall, I would return to Napili Shores, but I would probably choose a unit in another building.

Napili Shores is great. Unit B109 needs a lot of work. We stayed there for 10 days with a group of family friends who each had their own units. Our unit was the least appointed and oldest in terms of the shape of the kitchen and bathroom. There were several issues with the unit itself with a kitchen drawer being completely broken upon arrival and the overhead light in the bedroom non-functional. They did sent someone to try and fix this, but they did not schedule a time to send a handyperson to be in the unit and they arrived unannounced and while my infant was napping. They were unable to fix the issues during our stay so we had to deal with a broken kitchen drawer system and no overhead bedroom light the entire trip. If you like to cook, don't pick this unit. The kitchen stove does not have a vent hood and cooking anything at all requires you to open all the windows to create a vacuum to move the smoke out of the unit. The microwave and fridge are very small while our friends had full sized appliances. The unit is old and has no decorations. It felt like being in a concrete box while all of our friends had remodeled units with nice amenities and decorations on the walls. The Gazebo Restaurant is directly in front of the unit's view and is open to the public. People will line up in front of your unit starting at 6:30AM and they will be there until well after 12PM. It essentially ruins the view because people are standing in front of you with umbrellas and will stare at you while you try and enjoy your morning coffee on the lanai. This also renders the front pool useless until the restaurant closes at 2PM since people are standing in line around pool. You feel like a zoo animal being watched. Lots of foot traffic right in front of this unit and people who are not staying at Napili Shores will use the outdoor games all morning in front of the unit. The unit is quite loud since there is construction on the property and the trash truck backing up. Window block zero sound at 7AM. For a family of four during a 10 day stay, we were provided only four towels, one roll of toilet paper and one paper towel roll. You will have to wash your bathroom towels on the property and spend time and money to do so. It was unexpected that we would be so limited in these amenities. Don't get caught without toilet paper! The grounds of the property are beautiful though and we did enjoy our vacation here. We will return but will pick a different unit next time.

We’ve been coming to Maui every year for the last 15 years. This is the first time at this property and using VRBO, which can be risky. We were not disappointed. This location and the unit was great. Property upon check in was easy and clean. Access to beach is within steps. The famous Gazebo restaurant is in front of you. One small note. Get bigger beach chairs :) We would definitely love to stay here again. Feel free to contact us for our experience.

B-109 is perfectly located for beach, pool and market access. Just 1/2 mile from Napili Market and a 5 minute drive to incredible restaurants in one direction, and tasty food trucks in the other. We stayed in 3 places this year. This one was nicely stocked with basics and was quite comfortable. It has a nice view of the ocean from the Lanai. It faces west-northwest so gets more afternoon sun, which required closing blinds in the afternoon and using air conditioning many nights until it was adequately cooled down. We had a few requests about small changes or improvements that we wanted, and iTrip personnel were always quick to respond. They are marvelous.

We really enjoyed out two week stay in B-109. Ironically we were in B-107 11 years ago. Very clean, well equipped condo in an ideal location on the property. Would highly recommend. If I were to make some comments, they would be to warm up the place with some hangings on the walls. They were all bare. In addition, some suggestions as to recommended things to do, restaurants, etc would be helpful.

This trip was a graduation gift for my daughter. We had never been to Maui and were looking for something safe and clean in a good location. Well, this place is the best! Napili Shores is perfect for everything! Close to the best beaches, turtles right out front! Great restaurants, so many close by! The condo had everything the two of us needed. The property manager was available to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this property if your looking for something simple and close to everything!
