Unit 1064 is the ABSOLUTE nicest studio at The Whaler !!! Unit 1064 has been completely remodeled and professionally decorated just a few years ago...

Unit 1064 has EXPANSIVE & PANORAMIC views of the OCEAN, the island of Molokai, the Kaanapali beach Boardwalk, Blackrock cove, the pool & courtyard and looking east, the Maui mountains and Kaanapali Royal golf course !!

All Linens Fresh & Clean with an EXTREMELY comfortable "king-size" bed !! The Bed is an easy to operate & very light weight Murphy bed. The bed mattress is wonderful !! Everybody comments on how wonderful this mattress is !!! The Mattress Is a PREMIUM "high-end" 11 inch latex + gel foam mattress (mattress cost $2,500). - all linens very high quality 600 thread count sheets + 6 pillows... additionally there is a full size sofa sleeper in addition to the king-size Murphy bed.

This AIR CONDITIONED unit is located on the 10th floor of tower ll with spectacular sweeping panoramic views looking north to BlackRock, the island of Molokai, Kaanapali Beach and 'the boardwalk'. This unit sleeps up to 4 adults.

Studio unit 1064 has been completely and meticulously remodeled by master craftsmen contractor Scott Williamson (known as one of the best remodeling contractor on West Maui). This remodel has spared no expense. Everything is of the highest quality of materials and craftsmanship from the custom fabricated granite counter-tops to the Italian glass imported tile back splash and trim.

Amenities include chefs gourmet kitchen, posh super comfortable sectional sofa sleeper, over-sized dining chairs, impressive wall unit entertainment center hosting the new 48 inch HD SMART LED TV + DVD and foldout executive size desk for those working vacations. FREE HD cable TV (300 channels) and FREE high-speed secure WIFI Internet.

All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for additional charge.

The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. Whalers Village has over 100 shops and restaurants for eating or just to browse through, so you and the family never have to jump in the car to go eat or shop....or drive home after dinner. Kaanapali Beach has been distinguished as being named 'Best Beach in the USA' year after year by resort critics.

Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving, golf, tennis, scuba diving, fine dining, hiking, jogging and world class shops all only steps away from your fully equipped 'plush' condominium. Other amenities include fitness and business centers, tennis courts, swimming pool & hot tub (jacuzzi), on-site spa & salon plus barbecue and picnic areas.

To reserve, Reservation deposit is required, balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. If there are more than two (2) guests staying in the unit or if there are any infants or children under the age of 18 - There MAY be a $300 damage deposit (refundable within 14 days of departure upon satisfactory inspection of condo by the maid).

RESORT FEE: of $33/nightly + tax ($35/nightly beginning April 1, 2025 - resort fees subject to change without notice & collected by the front desk upon departure) - there is NO parking fee. (The resort fee covers : parking, full use of the gym, the tennis courts, daily beach towel exchange, beach chairs, etc.)

* This studio unit sleeps a MAXIMUM of 4 people (2 people preferably - 4 at owner's discretion) There is an additional guest charge of $75/nightly for more than 2 guests in the unit. For example, 3 guests in the unit will pay an additional $75/nightly, and 4 guests in the unit will pay an additional $150/nightly..... This will be outlined in the booking amount when you book. The reason for this additional fee is for additional housekeeping expense assessed by the housekeeper.

We enjoyed our stay here. The Whaler and its staff are awesome. It is a beautiful and well maintained property. The ppl from the front desk to the workers as well as the other guests are friendly and laid back. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed for quick brunches to full blown dinners. Dinner from the balcony, taking in that sunset, never grows old. It is an easy walk to Black Rock and the Sheraton where we have always enjoyed snorkeling and always found turtles somewhere around. The Whaler Village has so much going on that if you need a shopping or restaurant fix, it is right next door. Looking forward to returning. It is so easy to find and get into the aloha spirit here.

Had such a lovely time! About 40% of Whalers Village was open but we were grateful for that. The room location and amenities were fantastic - didn’t need anything more! Super convenient for everything and you can’t beat the incredible view. We will definitely come back to this unit!

Our stay was wonderful. We actually ended up staying in one of the larger condos in the same building also owned by Jim. The room was perfect. Location was perfect. Jim was extremely responsive and helpful! My husband and I are already talking about coming again in a couple years when our kids are older! My only criticism is that the rooms have carpet but that is me just being picky.

What a wonderful, relaxed time we had at this property. It was exactly as advertised, even better. It was a bit smaller than most VRBO's we rent (think really nice, upscale hotel) but well worth the price paid. The location on the island was perfect and the whale watching was just amazing. We would absolutely stay here again.

My husband, daughter and I had an incredible time here at the Whaler. The unit is spotless and comfortable and more well equipped than my own kitchen at home! Sounds of the waves rolling help lull you to sleep and encourage you to wake up in the morning. Location is all you need; beach, restaurants, shopping and more. Thank you Jim! We decided to visit Maui for our 17th year together. The check in process was so smooth and very welcoming. . The view out of the lobby looks into Kaanapali Beach and depending on your sight line Black Rock. The room was nicely done and spacious for a studio unit. The kitchen area had all of the necessities. The pull down Murphy bed, while low was comfortable to sleep on. The complex is located right next to The Whaler Village, providing access to shopping and restaurants. The Monkeypod Kitchen serves a great Mai Tai. The complex is near a Safeway market and only a short drive from Lahaina providing additional shopping and restaurants. All in all we had a great time in the unit and would not hesitate to return for another stay.

We had a wonderful trip at Jim’s condo. The studio was the perfect size for the 2 of us. There was everything you need for the beach, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. The location can’t be beat. Can’t wait to visit again.

***Tip, if you check in early and can’t get in the room do not rent chairs and umbrellas for the week at the beach, because there will be several for you to use free of charge once you access the room! We spent two weeks bouncing around Hawaii for our honeymoon, and 5 nights at this property. The Whaler is the best spot to base yourself in Maui, we actually moved to Wailea for our last two nights on Maui (Wailea Beach Resort) and even though the hotel and pools were beautiful, we both felt we could’ve just finished the week in Kaanapali and been just as happy, but we are beach people at heart. We spent several days on the beach, but also took advantage of venturing off to numerous local beaches within a short drive as Kaanapali can be annoyingly windy at times … Slaughterhouse Beach is a very easy drive and I really recommend!! Great snorkeling, and you can find turtles in the water near the rocks in the early afternoon… for the rental, it was really nice to sit on the lanai and read, eat breakfast, lunch or dinner, or even watch shows on my iPad with a view. Restaurants were crazy, we had some reservations and did take out other nights. I recommend going early to put your name down and either walking around or going back to your room until it’s your turn, its only a 3 minute walk to most places. Prison St Pizza will deliver, and you can walk down to hula grill or monkey pod and order food to go. The bed was really comfortable, the pillows left something to be desired but if you like softness then you will be plenty happy. I also appreciate all of the supplies and that other guests will leave leftover drinks like a few beers, hard seltzer’s or non-alcoholic seltzer’s. Times Supermarket was fine for some stuff but had the worst produce I’ve ever seen. Try to go to Foodland or Safeway instead. Parking in the garage was really easy, and the front desk/lobby area is open 24/7 if you need anything. We would definitely recommend this property!

The owner was great commucated so well place was remarkable this was out 4 th time at this resort have stayed in all different units this one was very nice upgraded most of sll very stocked to cook had beach chairs boogie boards to use if you wanted Jim the owner was right on top of everything ❤️
