This was the perfect unit for our family of four. From the three bedrooms, to the spacious lanai, to the short walk to the pool, it fit all of our needs. The short walk to the beaches and shops and close proximity to golf courses were a bonus, as well. While we were out enjoying Maui during the day, we looked forward to coming back to our beautiful condo in the evenings. The kitchen was very well equipped and the washer and dryer gave us a mid vacation wardrobe boost. The communication was spot on throughout our stay. Kaitlin even suggested a restaurant to celebrate our anniversary at. If we plan to return to Maui in the future, we will try this property first!

Every last detail was accounted for and the management company was very quick to respond to our questions during our stay. We would love to return to Ho’olei.

To whom it may concern,
I explained to Tawny that my experience during my stay was a huge inconvenience for me and my family.
I provided a list of things that I requested before my arrival..such as the following: Ensuring the Ho'olei 24-2 was sprayed prior to my arrival. However, I was bitten by several insects in the Villa. Additionally, there were multiple spiders and spiders webs (i.e. bedrooms, in the elevator, hallways). (Pictures were provided)
The garage door opener was not provided. We had to get in and out of the car to open and close the garage door every time we left.
Housekeeping did not properly clean the unit. For instance, there was not a mattress cover over the bed that was adjacent to the laundry room. The mattress had several pee stains on the mattress and under the bed mattress there were several dead bugs (I took pictures as well). Tawnyalso saw the pee stains. She stated that she could not get another mattress today. She just asked the housekeeper to put on a mattress cover.
The pee stains were very unsanitary, and the issue should have been addressed before my arrival.
Overall, I expressed to Tawny that my trip was really inconvenience and I did not get a chance to fully explore Maui...due to the pest issue and the unsanitary mattress. She just kept making excuses after excuses.
I am very disappointed with the quality of the property that was maintained at Ho’olei Villas. I selected the Ho’olei Villa by looking at the picture

My family and my friend's family stayed in this beautiful townhouse for a week. It was great!
- Living room on the 2nd floor is large, connecting with a big balcony. Our kids ran around and had much fun!
- Spacey kitchen allowing 2-3 people to work together!
- Master bedroom on the 1st floor is equipped with an awesome bathroom. Taking a bath there was so enjoyable!
- Great swimming pool in the community!
- Walkable distance to the beach!
- The host was very helpful and responsive!
Here are some tips for future visitors:
- As it's located near the hotel area, there isn't good grocery stores nearby, until you drive ~8 minutes to a Safeway. So plan ahead!
- Remember to take the towels if you go the swimming pool.
- If you want to take beach chairs to the beach, it's better to drive a car, although it's within walkable distance.

The location and luxury of this house make it a perfect retreat for a family looking to gather in the heart of Wailea. You have plenty of space in the common areas to be together or separate in the luxury of your bedroom. The furniture throughout is super comfortable and the house has every amenity including plenty of chairs and umbrellas for the beach. The lanai has a garden view, but in less than 10 min you are on the Wailea beach. And the pool oasis is just steps away. A real luxury find for a great price at one of the top beaches in Hawaii!

Loved the unit and property in general, 10/10. Impeccably clean, well stocked, and very comfortable. Road noise is a major issue that just can't be overlooked. I live in the city, and I want to get away from the noise, so this was a huge letdown that I couldn't relax on the lanai without listening to the traffic. Good thing the doors and windows do a good job of sound isolation.

The unit was clean and well appointed. It was not a far walk from the beach. Shopping was nearby. It was a bit of a drive to the grocery store. If you want ample space this you should consider this. I would stay here again if we visit with my family. There is really no view but that was fine for us.

This property was awesome! All the comforts of home, and then some! 7 of us (all adults) were very comfortable with plenty of room and privacy for all. Wailea Beach and the beachwalk were a 5 min walk from the property. Communication with CBIV was great; very timely responses! All in all, a wonderful place!

Our group of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids) loved our time here! The unit was very clean and comfortable, and it was a pleasure to use the well-appointed kitchen. The welcome snacks and included beach chairs/towels/umbrellas were a very pleasant surprise. Our POC Cody was very timely and reliable, especially when we forgot a wallet post check-out and had to go back while the cleaners were there. The only minor issue we had was finding a couple of small cockroaches (dead, thankfully!) here and there throughout our stay. Location was really great: walkable to Wailea resorts and beach, a quick drive away to great beaches and restaurants in Kihei, and relatively painless to get to central Maui. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!!

Great place to stay! Amenities are awesome. Can't choose a better place to stay than Ho'olei! Only downside for this specific unit is a little traffic noise outside on the patio. Patio backs up to the main road in Wailea. Ho'Olei 24-2 is a great place to stay with and the location is convenient to everything in Wailea.

We were not given the entry code to the gate, so we spent up to 20 minutes outside waiting for other residents to pull-up and let us in. We were provided the gate code two days after our arrival and after our email requesting the same.
The washer in the unit did not work.
The key fobs randomly deactivate, and it has nothing to do with your cell phone.

The condo was in a great location, offering quick access to the beach, as well as good restaurants. The porch looked out on shrubbery that provided privacy despite it being right next to a couple other units. It was very relaxing and the interior was spacious and comfortable.

Overall, this is a spacious, "premium" unit that "checks a lot of boxes". However, some things were inconsistent with the general vibe of the place, and showed an unexpected lack of attention to detail.General condition: As pictured and comfortable. The kitchen was rather basically equipped, probably adequate if you don't plan on cooking many full meals there. The bottom rack of the dishwasher seemed to be missing one row of tines needed to support dishes properly. Also, the rack itself didn't fit well, so it kept sliding off the rails when loaded with plates.Location: Conveniently located near the entrance to the complex and the swimming pool, with beach access a short, pleasant walk away. However, the lanai faces a small garden which backs up along the main Wailea thoroughfare. Because of this, it is quite loud inside the unit when the lanai doors are open and when you sit outside on the lanais (2 of the bedrooms also have lanais that open out onto the garden area), despite the lush foliage blocking the view of the road.Cleanliness: Living room rug showed some staining and clearly had not been vacuumed (cracker crumbs all over, plus an old, squished grape on the rug and dried up grape stem on the coffee table). Several surfaces in the kitchen would have benefited from a simple wipe down. Heard scurrying (along the gutters) and later saw a large rodent scampering across the lanai. Carpet in the master bedroom needs cleaning.

We got what we expected, based on the listing. All in all, a very good deal. Two caveats: One, be aware that the balcony/backyard is right next to the big street; at times, this meant some traffic noise when sitting outside. And two, we have had multiple morning encounters with cockroaches in the kitchen, an issue which property management however addressed (repeatedly).

High end duplex condo with beautiful decor and high end kitchen appliances. My wife, daughters and son in law came to Maui for my nephews wedding and stayed for a week. The only thing missing was an ocean view but that was an eight minute walk away. Highly recommend the gated property and the support stafff. Vastly nicer than the nicest hotel room.

This rental was very comfy and clean. The kitchen had everything you needed. Also, the beach chairs, cooler and umbrellas were a very nice touch. The property is very close to the entrance of the Ho'olei property, so it was easy to walk to the Ho'olei pool and to the beach via the Waldorf Astoria hotel. We will definitely stay here again!
