My wife and I have stayed at the Iliki many times. This condo is very nice to stay at. The unit was clean and furnished nicely and is in a great location in Waikiki. The owner of the condo was very easy to work with throughout the entire process of reserving, paying for, and staying at this property. My wife and I highly recommend staying at this condo to everyone. You will not regret your decision.

I live off of honest reviews, since we stay in lots of vacation rentals.
First the good…The hotel itself is gorgeous and has lots of shops and things. The location of where you are at is awesome for being close to lots of activities and walking distance to walking trail and lagoon for swimming. The condo was properly stocked with all the things/appliances/bedding you need. It has A/C which at night was great.
What can be improved…
This place was a little deceiving in the picture and description. It says it has a bedroom and the pictures make it look like it does. It is a studio, not a one bedroom, so all sleeping together in family room. So smaller than pictures make it look. It also should only sleep 4 and only be 2 kids/2 adults. Because the chair bed is like sleeping on concrete and should not count as a bed. The futon is not comfortable either, but ok for 2 kids. It also needs a deep clean. It was surface clean, but the shower needs to be scrubbed and the doors. You also can’t use the gym that is at the hotel. But despite these things, we had a great time and it worked for what we needed with kids, which was a 2 night stay. The host was also hard to hear back from, but he was also traveling too?
Side note…if you use the parking next door, it is only $28 if you buy a over night in/out ticket! There is a kiosk on the wall in the parking garage that you have to buy that from. READ the signs.

Overall we had a great stay! The second day of our stay the entire elevator system went out! Lucky we were on the 6th floor, and we checked in the day before! I feel bad for all the folks that checked in after, that had to carry all their luggage up and down the stairs. The building has 30 floors! The elevator problems continued thru our stay with only only 2-3 of the 5 elevators back in service due to the hotel bringing in a generator. Even with only 3 of them working they limited them to only 7 people per ride. It made for long lines to get up and down.

We looked all around and you can’t beat the price /location. This being said I would not go with 4 adults. We thought it was a 1 bedroom appt (separate bedroom) but it’s more like a large studio where there is no separation with the 1 queen size bed and the living / kitchen space. Not even a curtain. Perfect for a couple with a couple of young kids who don’t mind sleeping in the same room though. The property manager is awesome and super responsive.

This unit was perfect for my family of 4. We stayed in this unit for about 2 weeks. It was spacious and it had all the amenities we needed. Having a kitchen with a stove, microwave and full sized refrigerator helped us so we could cook some of our own meals. The valet parking in the hotel is $45 a night, so we parked in the Ilikai marina parking garage (1 short block away - above red lobster) for $28 a day (with in and out privileges). The unit had 2 body boards, beach towels, some sand buckets and beach chairs that we were able to use if we wanted to. Access to the beach and the Hilton lagoon was also just a short walk away. Arvis was the perfect host and was very easy to communicate with. When I ran out of toilet paper or trash bags, he got them to my unit right away. He was very easy to work with and helped to accommodate my family and all of our needs through our entire stay. We have now transferred to another one of his units, since we decided to extend our stay. When we are back on Oahu again, I will definitely book one of his units again. Thank you!

The location of this place is exceptional. Easy access to the beach and nice pool on site. Nice (free) entertainment on site Friday and Sunday nights. Unit is on lower floor and facing street. The noise quiets down early evening, though there tended to be multiple incidents needing a firetruck during our stay. Though, for any big city this is the norm. There are beach items kept on site so rentals may not be necessary. The unit itself was stocked with all items needed to prepare meals. Large fridge and microwave. We didn't use the stove or oven but both looked in fine condition. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay that is on the quieter side when it comes to Waikiki.

We had a great time staying here. The hotel is old, but has great history and allure. The entrance feels luxurious, great impression arriving. The concept of a rented out hotel room seemed shady at first, but all over our floor we would see custom pad-locks installed. We got in easy with given instructions, so check-in was a breeze. The room is small but could accommodate our family of four. Extra (sofa) beds were very uncomfortable, but we found an air mattress that we used instead. Parking is $35 per night, not $28 as the host told us in the check-in docs, and only valet parking is available. The price for parking next door was also not correct. The area surrounding the hotel is safe and great for an evening walk. It is right next door to the Hilton where there are lots of shops and restaurants. All and all we had a great time at this place. Hawaii is enjoined outside, so imperfections were not our concerns. Only things that are worth mentioning is no dishwasher and no shower pressure.

I stayed at this condo with my 2 kids and their significant others and we had a blast ! The condo was perfect ! Plenty of space for all 5 of us, a breathtaking view of the city from the huge lanai. We only paid 23.00 a night for parking by the red lobster behind the hotel. The hotel was absolutely beautiful with 2 pools, an awesome restaurant named Cinnamon’s with phenomenal food. Also right next to the Hilton Lagoon which was a lot of fun. We would stay here again for sure ! The Ilikai is in a perfect spot to everything including the city bus and trolley system ! This place is a must stay in Waikiki ! We had the best time ever and we spent 2 weeks there !!! Mahalo for your hospitality !!!

condo is in a hotel, which makes guest not feel welcome if you are not staying with the hotel. pools close early, accessible beach is rocky, public bathrooms in the area are scarce, not enough bedding for 5 people, cleaning showed up at 1013 and asked us to leave, said checkout was 1000 but listing on vrbo says it's 1100. parking is expensive and hotel runs out of spots for the condos regularly.

We really enjoyed staying here. Free parking in the back is can be tricky but can be done. Food pantry is only 5 mins walk. And the mall with the large selection of food only 6 minutes walking.
We left a few pairs of water shoes and beach towels here for the next group. There is a small cooler , two beach chairs. and one set of snorkel available for used. Have a great trip!
Thank you!
