BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.
By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Host is not liable for any loss or damage to Tenants’ personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control. Tenants accept that the cable and internet service at the Rental can be sporadic and unreliable at times, and Tenant shall not be entitled to any refund of the rental fee in the event either of these services are unavailable or not operating properly during Tenants’ stay.

First - we received notice that the main pool was to be closed for the complete duration of our 2 week stay 24 hours before leaving for our trip. The other pools on site were not suitable for our grandchildren as they dropped off in depth very quickly.
2nd - unit was advertised as completely renovated and on arrival found the most disgusting carpet in the bed room. If the owner had only continued the renovations to include the bedroom, it would have been well received.
Compensation received for our inconvenience was not adequate in our option.

Wonderful, Clean, Very nicely appointed with Kitchen ware etc. New appliances etc. Very well maintained Unit, Close to Beach.
The only reason for low check in score was we were never forwarded the lock code to use Key Pad until following day. Additionally, no matter what map one uses, Google, Apple etc. I never takes you to proper entry point to get to the unit. It directas you to upper parking lot with no cut through, so arriving in dark for 1st night was a real challenge. Another Guest saw us trying to find our unit, called security for us, and they set us straight. For rest of trip we had to correct any Uber driver as their Map always took the the wrong way also. I suggest that future renters of this unit get written instructions for how to get to entrance. Once you know it its not a problem, but challenging when arriving at night or for first time

This condo is recently renovated and out of several I have stayed in at the Ekahi, was probably the best equipped.
The location is great. It is close to one of the quiet pools and not too far from the main pool.
Close enough to the ocean to hear the waves.

We had a wonderful stay in 21A…the condo was beautiful, clean, and spacious. This unit is very close to the pavilion pool and beach. We woke up to the sound of waves crashing and tropical birds…amazing!!

We are hotel snobs and this unit exceeded our expectations. Super clean, comfortable and functional for our family of 3. Very well equipped with everything you could need (in all rooms /kitchen/lanai/bathrooms/bedrooms/laundry). Updated and modern appliances, like brand new. I feel like we were the first people to stay here. Great location just a 5 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute to the pool and pickle ball court. Property managers were extremely helpful with great instructions and highly communicative! I’d we lived closer we would return soon but we live in NYC. Don’t hesitate, book!
