BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.

IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

**We make no guarantee that properties adjacent to the Unit will be free from disturbances, including but not limited to noise or inconvenience from construction, traffic or other guests or neighbors. Any such disturbance shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

By booking your stay with us, you accept that Host is not liable for any inconveniences arising from any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of water, electricity, air conditioning or plumbing that is beyond their control. Host is not liable for any loss or damage to Tenants’ personal property caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, or other events beyond their control. Tenants accept that the cable and internet service at the Rental can be sporadic and unreliable at times, and Tenant shall not be entitled to any refund of the rental fee in the event either of these services are unavailable or not operating properly during Tenants’ stay.

This is the second rental we have experienced in the village in the past five years. This rental compares to our first rental pales. Let me explain. First, the photos posted in the rental materials must fully disclose the views of the lanai. It's crucial that potential renters can accurately envision the view they will be enjoying. To observe the views posted, one has to be in the far corner of the lanai looking to the west or physically in the yard area in front of the lanai. We were disappointed, as the photo on the site did not show the direct landscape from the lanai to the ocean. Second, the air conditioner in the living area was loud and ineffective. I contacted the management company immediately to express our dissatisfaction. They indicated they would contact the owners regarding the issue to determine the next steps. We were never informed of the decision, and we put up with the situation for our entire 21-day stay. The morning we checked out, we crossed paths with an employee who indicated the air conditioner would be replaced before the next renters checked in that evening. That is NOT good service. Third, ants and giant roaches were also present in the condo. While the rental company provided Ant & Roach Spray, the whole unit must be professionally sprayed inside and out. Fourth, a deep clean of the condo behind the furniture and furnishings must occur. As we moved indoor and outdoor furniture to best meet our needs, we observed that the corners

The good: the place is in a beautiful condo resort that backs up to the golf course and over looks the ocean. My kids were able to walk right out of the patio onto the open grass field and run around and play. Also great location and beach amenities… Bad: I did have a bad experience where one night my entire family got locked out. We were on the patio and the sliding door locked when we closed it behind us (poor design). We ultimately had to use the neighbors phone to find the property contact info. The property contact was able to provide the lock box code to the front door and we were able to get a key. Be very careful with the sliding door! We eventually taped it so it wouldn’t do that again.

The location of this property is excellent however the unit needs some updates. The bathrooms are old and the doors are shabby. The kitchen is ok but the dishes and glassware are all mismatched Usually there is a few condiments such as salt and pepper or some coffee but there was not one food item in the whole place. I love this complex but would not stay in this unit again. Sorry

We were so pleasantly surprised by this beautiful, clean, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. The view was even nicer than the pictures. It was so peaceful and private. The location was perfectly close to beaches, two pools, shopping, restaurants and golf. There was a completely outfitted kitchen and a two very nice gas barbecues. We were pleasantly surprised to find nice beach chairs, towels, Boogie Boards, and lots of beach toys in the condo for our use. We will definitely book this condo again!!!

The location in Wailea was wonderful. We had a couple issues with the property that were handled quickly with the property manager. However, the overall condo is in need of a deep clean.

Great sunsets over the water every evening. Really nice pool to refresh I. after the day’s activities. Wilea is the best beach.
