BEACHES & CRITTERS: The beach size in Hawaii varies month to month due to heavy surf, strong currents and tides. Due to Maui’s rural atmosphere you may experience the occasional rooster, as well as harmless geckos. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaii. Please don’t kill them.
IMPORTANT: Although the HOA schedules regular professional pest control services, pests such as ants, roaches and rodents simply cannot be completely controlled in the tropics. Hawaii is located in a tropical climate, and insects, rodents and lizards flourish in this environment. If our guest spot more than the normal expected pests, we always make our best efforts to contact and work with the HOA to minimize your interactions with these pests. Any contact with such pests within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of this Agreement or give Guest any right to any refund or rental adjustment.

We loved our stay at this property.
It was spacious, clean, comfortable couches and beds. The large deck with BBQ was used often, enjoying the view and sunsets.
The kitchen was well stocked, our only minor issue was no broom/dustpan and maybe a swiffer wet mop for quick cleanups.
Bathrooms had ample towels and the in suite laundry was convenient.
Walk to the beaches is about 10 min or a very quick drive down the hill. Beautiful walkable area with many beaches and walking paths.

The units at the Palms all have great bones and are spacious. This unit is slightly updated (flooring) and in decent shape. Tubs, showers, sinks, toilets are all old and original. The pool and grounds are so beautiful, spacious, and peaceful. Communication with owners was seamless. Wailea has the best beaches on Maui in my opinion.

Condo is nice, but definitely outdated. The remodel must have been done some 20 years ago. Not exactly luxury. The ocean views are not so fantastic and the infinity pool is a stretch. Hot tub packed with little kids, most of the time. Disappointing.

The location of this condo was great. Very close to both Wailea and Kihei. The property mangers were very responsive and accommodating. We did have some problems with the cleanliness of the floors and the lanai. And while the kitchen has cookware and dishware there is not one cabinet for food. Over 2/3 of the cabinets are "owners" cabinets with locks. We had to leave all of our groceries on the counters. The lanai definitely needs to be thoroughly cleaned. We also had issues with the icemaker leaking and clogging. It was nice to have an ice maker though. There is very little to no noise privacy in the unit. I cannot stress enough how responsive the property manager are. They were great to work with!

This unit might be good if you are traveling with small children but it is not good if you are hoping to relax on your vacation. The unit overlooks the pool which appears nice in photos but the noise from children playing and screaming is very loud and constant day and night and prevents you from being able to enjoy the outdoor deck or keep doors/windows open. Also the unit is much older than represented in the photos. Furniture and cabinetry were peeling apart, electrical outlets were old and yellow, etc. Also there is no sound privacy for the second bedroom either as there are just sliding louvered doors separating it from the living room. When we mentioned the pool noise to the property management company they were unwilling to either move us to another property or offer any compensation for not disclosing these items in the listing. We feel the property listing was not forth coming on the noise and hopefully others benefit from this information. We would not have stayed here had we known pool noise would be an issue.

Our stay at the Palms at Wailea was fantastic. My 3 sisters and I had a fabulous week at this beautiful property. Located in the Wailea area of Maui, we were minutes away from several resort properties with faabulous restaurants for dinner each night. The condo unit was just as pictured. It was spacious enough for the four of us to spread out. The hugh lanai was perfect for our morning breakfast each day. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our party. The kitchen is well stocked. We cooked breakfast and never found ourselves missing any equipment or utensil. We particularly liked the serving window in the kitchen. The unit was equipped with 4 beach chairs and a cooler that was great for our beach days.
We are so glad we chose this over one of the nearby hotels. It was the most economical decision but also made the most sense for our quiet time together. The living area was perfect for watching movies, playing board games and swapping beauty secrets. That time together was priceless. We appreciated the resource guide left by management with condo rules and checkout instructions. We loved it!

Easy process to rent and the location is fantastic for access to Kihei Town, great beaches in Makena and in Wailea. It's also a beautiful drive to the North Shore snorkeling beaches too. Sunset and ocean views from the lanai are great.
