Property was clean and was as described. Spacious and our family of 6 fit in well. It can use a couple of updates, main floor bathroom vanity, shower rod and toilet bowel seat. Unit was great for location and price.

North Shore is an amazing place and this is perfectly situated to visit the east and west side of the island equal distance to Waikiki no matter what direction of travel so you can experience it all. The condo was clean and comfortable with only 2 minor things to note. The AC's are window units and only 2, one in each bedroom, none in the loft or living space. Also, we wanted to cook dinners so we bought stuff to oven bake only to realize there is not one pan that is oven safe, no foil either. We had to cook on the oven only. Very private unit, close parking spot, close to the pool and a block from the golfs bar and grill if needed.

We had an event we needed to be at in Laie and everything was booked solid. This place was our only option. For the price that we paid, it should have been in excellent condition. Here were some problems... the beds were old and uncomfortable including the ones on the loft. The shower curtain in the bottom shower blows up on to the person showering and doesn't stay down once the water is on. The screen door is broken and goes off track. Just 4 towels were provided so we had to use the beach towels as well. The toilet seat in the upstairs bathroom is so old that the plastic is peeling off. The fan in the kitchen is squeaky and the one in the living area wasn't blowing much. Luckily it wasn't terribly hot. These are simple repairs that wouldn't cost much to the owner. Yet I was charged an extra $200 as a extra fee. This was unexpected. The kitchen could have been stocked and cleaned a little better. With a cleaning fee so high, even the drawers and lower cabinets should have been in excellent condition. I can tell that the owner doesn't live here because there was a note left in the check in folder that should've been removed if there was a thorough cleaning. Besides the problems, it's a quiet peaceful place to stay. I just feel that for that much money, it should've been in perfect condition.

A very nice property in a beautiful part of the island. Very close to many beaches with beautiful sunsets. However, is not close to anything else, restaurants and shopping are all 15 to 30 minutes away and most island activities are more like an hour. If you leave after sunset, add another 30 minutes.
The property could use some minor repairs. When we walked in, a screen was off the window, which I repaired myself. The screen door for the patio/lanai did not close properly, so it did not really keep the bugs out.
The air conditioning consists of two window units that are very loud and are not allowed to be run all day long. Thankfully, there was always a decent breeze off the ocean that they were not needed, at least in late March.
The hair dryer that was provided literally burst into flames in my wife's hand, but the property manager was very prompt in bringing a new one to the unit. I was a little concerded about that at first, because some of my earlier messages to them were not being returned, but they came through on the biggest complaint.
My only other complaints would be that the unit did not seem sufficiently stocked to support 5 people, even to just start the week, knowing that it is not intended to last all week. Also, the unit seemed too sterile. It seems as though anythjng that a previous renter may have left was removed from the property. It isn't required, but usually people leave a few spices, but there was nothing.
Overall, we had a good stay.

The towels were new, but sheets need replacing (also mentioned in a note left by a former renter). The downstairs bed needs to be fixed and it would have been nice to have more supplies for 5 people.

Overall a good stay. Directions were tricky finding the right Door/building. #112 is the trick, not 57-110 that's for the area of town and address of the resort. Locals would know I guess. Great location between everything in North Shore and Turtle Bay. 1 minute drive or 10 minute walk to resort and resort beaches. Place needs some work. Back door broken, ACs ok for bedrooms, but not main room. Hot water is in short supply if everyone is getting ready at the same time. Overall a little outdated...

Unit needs a redo. Not very comfortable couch/living room chairs, old appliances, dirty baseboards. Sheets with pills on them. Old, stained toilet seats. Old kitchen and beach towels. Ceiling fans had caked on dust. Could be a really nice place but needs some work.

Do NOT rent from this management company! We came to Turtle Bay for our daughter’s wedding. We rented 5 condos, only this one was from this management company. The unit was not clean. Had pee on the tile behind and on base of the master toilet. The unit had a urine smell. The toaster did not work and some lamps didn’t work (management took care of the toaster and the lamps, nothing else). Management acknowledged the urine issue but did nothing to fix or clean it. They charged us a fee for use of a pack n play. There were no beach toys or chairs. There is no A/C which is fine but the fans were covered in a sticky dust. The beds were springy and sagged in the middle. The bedding was old and dingy. The couch, which seats 3 uncomfortably is old and hard, same with the kitchen table. The water did not get hot in the showers. I asked to be switched to another unit. There were other units available but they refused to move us. All of the other units we rented had a pack n play, high chair, beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, mats. They all had nice beds, bedding, updated comfortable furniture. We left 2 days early and paid for a hotel room rather than stay any longer on those beds. We also paid more for this unit than for any of the others. They charged an exorbitant service fee (more than twice the other units) which covered nothing. I asked what it covered and they didn’t respond. I’m not sure why every review doesn’t say the same thing. We were highly disappointed.

Our family had spent a few days in the hussle and bustle of Waikiki and were ready to relax. Kuilima estates definitely provided a beautiful much needed relaxation. Our family loved the proximity to all the local beaches, the safety of turtle bay is a factor that helped us choose kuilima and we LOVED it. The suite is well taken care of with a few things that could use some tweaking. The beds were absurdly uncomfortable. Pilly sheets made it even worse (just throw them out). If management could pay attention to the little things the stay could be even better. Squeaky ceiling fan and Screaming dryer. Loved our stay would be happy to return to the area.

Overall it did the job. Best thing about the condo is the breeze through it with the doors open andthe mountain views. But things need repair like new screens, coat of paint on the fridge doors due to rust, small touch ups on the walls. The biggest issue is the window in the upstairs master. It is right above the window that doesnt close all the way, a d the screen isntthe right size for the window, so the ac below it is blowing cold air that goes out the window that cant close, plus the critters that can come in because of the inch gap around the screen.

Great location and very comfortable for a party of four. I would not recommend this to elderly or people with balance issues. No grab bars in first floor bathroom and stairs to 2nd floor are quite treacherous for elderly. The only other thing to make this a perfect stay would be new dishes, currently just a few mismatched plastic and ceramic plates, need a place setting for party of six since the rental site states 6 people max.

We had a really nice time at Turtle Bay Pupukea. The house is clean, quiet, large enough and just 5 minutes away from the beach. Check-in and out was very easy too. The only downside was the construction work done in the estate.

This property was just what we were looking for, it was clean and nice. There were just a couple problems. The downstairs shower water pressure was too forceful and the the shower curtain too short, so water would go out onto the floor. The other problem was very annoying and caused us to not be able to sleep well and that was the mosquitos coming into the unit at night. I don't know where they were coming from, but they were getting inside and eating everyone!

We are a family of five. The site is perfect. Nice beaches, great restaurants, not too crowded, close to North Shore typical villages with food trucks. The buzz was total away from the city. We will be back!!!
