We have been traveling to Maui since 1975 on a regular basis and this is our first time in this particular unit. We found it well stocked with all the comfort of Home and located in a beautiful area, possibly gorgeous view of the ocean Amenities surrounding the property or excellent, and our expectations order exceeded and every regard In the airline reservations, we are considering very strongly to return next year Mahalo for a wonderful memory

This was our second stay at Ekahi village and this unit was a favorite. The photos don’t do the view justice. We had a couple of small issues that were quickly resolved by the property manager. Only downside is that this unit doesn’t have its own umbrella which is a first for me on Maui. I highly suggest that the hosts simply buy one for the unit but the option is to have one delivered and pay $20. (It’s only $17 for the week from Boss Frogs) It would also be amazing to have more soft seating on the lanai - we spent most of our time out there!

Absolutely loved the condo and property. The views were amazing. Pretty hefty walk back from the beach but manageable. Loved the extras like laundry detergent and beach towels and chairs,etc. My only complaint is that I wanted late check-out but never got an answer as to whether we could book it or not. (Asked three times.) So, we had to leave the condo and drive around the island for seven hours before our flight. We Would definitely stay here again.

This was an excellent property that met all of our expectations. The location was fantastic, close to the beach and pool, great golf courses, restaurants and shopping. It was equipped with everything we needed for a special vacation. The only negative was slightly old carpet with a few stains.

This private condo is very close to anything you need in Kihei and yet in the beauty and peace of Wailea. The views are unobstructed and you will hear some road noise if your sliding glass doors in the bedroom is open at night.The amenities of pool areas, barbecues, and pavilion space can not be beat with direct access to the beach. I would love to come and stay again.

First time staying at Wailea Ekahi and absolutely loved the property--it is ideally located next to the larger resorts with direct access to the beach and walking path. Beautifully maintained with a diverse range of tropical plants and flowers, and the shared pool and bbq/patio area are fantastic for groups. The unit itself is actually much larger than I expected, with an open kitchen/dining/living area and access to a smallish but beautiful lanai with a view of the surrounding property and ocean. It has beach chairs and towels for your use, and the welcome basket was a nice touch. Overall loved my stay!

The best part of this condo is the view from the lanai. You have a non-obstructed view of the ocean. Great place to have a drink and watch the sunset!There are a couple of things that could be improved on (1) The bed has a plastic mattress cover that affects the comfort of the bed and also makes it very warm - this should be removed; (2) You should include an umbrella - all of the condos we have stayed at at Ekahi have included an umbrella; and (3) a proper citrus squeezer would be a plus. All-in-all, this condo works. With a few minor changes it would be amazing. You can't beat the view!

This property was ideal for our Maui stay. It was on the second floor of a 2 story building in a south Maui location. It was a very quiet condo. It had everything we needed for our stay--some basic essentials to get us started such as small soaps in the bathroom, dish soap, laundry pods, etc. The Hawaiian goodies that were left on the counter really came in handy while we were out exploring the island. The condo was very clean and the patio was so nice to have with a view of the ocean in the distance. The beach chairs were nice to have. The walk from the condo to the main pool and beach were a little longer than we thought and it's an uphill walk on the way back, but once we figured out the way to go, it wasn't bad. There are grills conveniently located through the plan and the pool was nice to swim in--it does have a small shallow end and much of it is deep water. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay for our week in Maui.

Highly recommend rental property. Has all the amenities you would need to enjoy your beach vacation. Incredible views from the deck of the setting sun and ocean. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful. TV is a little dated and small, but who goes to Hawaii to watch TV. Only other issue was a little road noise in the bedroom, but would definitely stay here again.

New to Hawaii! We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It was well stocked (kitchen, beach chairs, towels, etc). We liked the location (both within the complex and within Maui). It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. This condo was more economical than some we looked at. We would stay here again. The only negative comment I have is that the living room could use some updating (furniture is getting old and the carpet has some stains). But again, we would stay here on our next Hawaii trip.

Condo was clean with a great view of the water. It’s a bit of a walk to get down to the beach, and it would have been nice to have some sort of direction card in the unit. Google maps was pretty accurate, but there really isn’t a direct path down to the ocean or the larger pool. There is an ice chest which is great, just be sure to go through the cupboards. We found the umbrella on the last day under the bed. Beach chairs are on the back lanai. Plenty of large beach towels were supplied. Plenty of inside towels and bedding were available. All cleaning products were available as well (tide, dish soap, hotel size shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer). We struggled to reach someone with an issue and got the run around. Made my husband nervous about staying in case we had a bigger issue. Check in was simply a code and check out the same (at least that’s what it seemed the rule was). It was easy to get in and out and easy to find the unit. All directions were written out. Carpet is in every room except the toilet area. Furniture is fine, nothing fancy. Very white/beige decor making it easy to see any scuff marks or dirt. The cars didn’t move often where we parked, and a few times it seemed a little sketchy, but overall it’s a nice community. The beach is beautiful and the view from our room could not be beat! For around $500 a night it can’t be beat! There is only coffee for 1 day and no cream or sugar... so be sure to get supplies before you stay. (I have never stayed with air BB before so maybe this is normal). It would have just been nice to have something available. Overall, we would stay here again.

Large, 2nd floor, one bedroom condo with amazing ocean views from lanai! Sprawling condo complex with beautiful tropical, well maintained landscape with private access to beach and upscale shopping plaza just a short walk away. The complex has a large oceanfront pool and clubhouse area with ovens, refrigerator, ice maker & grills that was very busy with mostly families with small children. There are also 2 other smaller pools with “quiet please” signs that were never really occupied, perfect for adults.The condo itself is very clean, however it could use a fresh coat of paint throughout along with new carpet/flooring and an upgraded mattress. This is our 5th trip to Maui this year and this condo is by far the nicest one we have stayed at and first one managed by a real estate firm. Communication was good, had a issue at check in that they referred us to guest relations, which was taken care of promptly. There was a nice welcome snack gift however there was absolutely no condiments in condo, just salt & pepper, coffee for only a day or two, one time use shampoo/conditioner. As a frequent Airbnb traveler, we’re used to such supplies available for entire trip. Had we known we’d had to purchase these items on the island, would have just packed them to save money. If this is your visit trip to Maui and are not aware of the how expensive items are, here is your warning (gallon of milk $7.59).A wonderful place to stay and will definitely stay again on next trip!

Unit is nicely furnished, updated and clean. Makes for pleasant stay. Beach is great. Nice to have nearby and not crossing roadways to get there. A huge plus is beach access and beach walk.No noise and peaceful location. View is good, tunnel type decks but still beautiful.I recommend.One issue, is what they call ants (fastest ones I ever seen and fairly light in color). Kitchen and even dishwasher a constant battle.After running dishwasher I opened and surprised to to see ants. I recommended do not use disposal and take any trash out immediately after eating/cooking.They did leave spray which was appreciated.Also, put everything in fridge, dry goods as well. I have bit of phobia but wife had no issues.I even had ants in my lap top - ugh Overall, Maui's rental costs have been sky rocketing so i expect zero issues.

Loved the view of the ocean and sunsets. Spacious kitchen, family room, bathroom and bedroom. AC and fans helped, since the afternoon sun made this upstairs unit very warm. Property manager helped with ants and other minor issues. Wished the unit had a beach umbrella to go along with the beach chairs. This unit is quite aways from the large pool/gate access to the beach. Although near the street, this unit was quiet and peaceful.

We spent 17 nights here and enjoyed our stay. Taking off a couple of stars because we felt this condo wasn't stocked as well as numerous others we've stayed in along with the fact that it could really use some refreshing - the marked walls, stained carpet, and worn window/door frames give the feeling that the condo is dirty when in fact it just really needs a new coat of paint, new carpet and a some updates. When we arrived, the screen door to the unit was hanging on just two hinges (top hinge torn off the wall). Not a great first impression. We alerted CB Island Vacations and they had it taken care of right away. Super responsive.We've stayed in quite a few condos on Maui and the Big Island. This one was definitely not as stocked as well - no beach umbrella, no spices or condiments for cooking (perhaps new COVID policy?). We did have three beach chairs and a small cooler so that was helpfulThe view was top notch - we spent mornings and evenings on the lanai watching whales, the sunset. Walk to the pool at the pavilion or the gorgeous Keawakapu beach was about 5 min. There was a quiet pool that was much closer if one was so inclined (we're beach people so didn't make much use of the pools). The unit is close to the road so if you enjoy sleeping with the windows open, you will hear traffic noise. Not an issue if you keep the windows closed and use the AC. Ekahi has banned grills on the lanais which really changed our typical stay as the provided communal grills we a bit of a walk. Toting food and grill utensils to/from the grill wasn't great. I think it would be helpful if the village installed more grills so they were more conveniently located. We heard that all the condo complexes in the area were in the process of also banning grills on lanais. The fire department has clamped down due to a recent fire. We ended up eating out more which isn't the worst thing but for extended stays we prefer to cook. Easy walk to Shops at Wailea.

We love the Wailea area, and this condo is lovely. It feels quite spacious, has lots of closet space, and was very comfortable for the two of us. We saw a few ants on our first day, but they eventually disappeared. (We wondered if the previous renters had left food on the countertops.) There were a few stains on the light tan carpet, most likely caused by guests wearing shoes and/or spraying sunscreen indoors. The living room chairs were not particularly comfy for watching movies. We enjoyed the view and seeing sunsets from the lanai. Our biggest frustration was that three to four families were occupying two units immediately below us. While they weren't overly loud, their conversations sounded like they were on our lanai. They played music throughout the evening on their patio, which competed with the soft music that we wanted to listen to on our lanai so we ended up just listening to their music and conversations. One evening, we tried to turn up our music to hear it over theirs, but they turned up their volume further. These were nice families enjoying good times, not being excessively noisy. We didn't feel it would be appropriate to ask them to be quiet as they were not loud. This issue is the thing anyone renting this unit needs to understand: If there are renters below, be prepared to have limited privacy and quiet on your lanai. The large, heated pool and covered area by the beach were lovely. As much as we love the area and the condo itself, we would not rent this unit, or any other second story unit at Ekahi Village, in the future. We have spent many vacations in multi-level condos, but have never experienced the lack of privacy we encountered here.
