We loved the proximity of this condo to the lower pool and ocean. It made transporting beach toys, towels, etc much much easier. Would stay there again!

Paradise! A little dated but very well kept and comfortable and very conveniently located. Very well stocked with towels, pool & beach items. Kitchen has everything you’ll need including even Tupperware and foil & plastic wrap. Would highly recommend and hopefully will be back!

The location was perfect. The rental property was a bit old and lacked a few basic things. Better pillows and more of them would have been nice. It only had 4 and they were not good. Also no sheets for the pull out bed. We needed to buy hand soap, Kleenex and things other units had. Would recommend property but maybe not the unit we stayed in.

Very comfortable ground level condo, just steps away from the pool and beach beyond. Well appointed kitchen, many beach towels and comfortable bed. The lanai was a great gathering spot with plenty of seating. This was our second stay this year at this particular condo, and are already planning our next trip.

We had previously stayed in 8B. It’s a great location and it’s a nice unit. The only negative is the living room chairs are very uncomfortable. It is clean and well stocked with pretty much all you need. We would stay again!

8B is quite nice. We chose it for its location which is great. The ocean view is VERY PARTIAL, but there is excellent access to the lovely pool and pavilion and the quiet, beautiful beach. We encountered many small maintenance issues and the air conditioning in the bedroom is Terribly noisy, interfering with sleep. The overall atmosphere is quite shabby.
3 days before our arrival from the mainland we received an email from RentalMaui saying that there would be some plumbing and landscaping in our building during part of our stay. With difficulty we spoke with RentalMaui several times and were assured that the work would all be in front of our unit away from our lanai and would only last 1 to 2 days. They offered us a few other condos which would not meet our needs and did give us a discount - fine, but we weren’t going to Wailea for a bargain. As soon as we arrived at the condo it was clear that the work would be directly at our lanai. As we learned more bout the situation we realized that much of what RentalMaui had told us was untrue. In the end our lanai was unusable for 4 1/2 days of our 5 day stay and inside the condo was very unpleasant during the day due to jack hammering and other very loud machines and hordes of workers outside talking among themselves. This condo has a cockroach issue. We had a terrible experience with cockroaches. After discovering the first on our first day I figured we are in a tropical location and it’s normal to have some bugs. But then we found 3 more, all on separate days, in different locations. The last on our final night crawled on my friends leg, super gross! We contacted the management company who informed us that this is normal and they would have thought the quarterly treatment would have taken care of them. I’ve stayed in enough beautiful condos in Maui to know that this is not normal and bug treatments are typically far more frequent than quarterly (and often occur during our stay as regular maintenance). Nothing was done to address the situation. In addition, this condo is far worse that what is shown in the photos, which are not recent. Yes, it has most of what you need, but everything is very old and in need of upgrading. There were some positives: the lanai and patio furniture are great. The AC throughout works well. The location is awesome, so close to the beach. I love Wailea Ekahi as it is the “sweet spot” between Wailea and Kihei. However, I will avoid building 8 in future, as it clearly has a cockroach issue that needs to be addressed.

A beautiful location. Steps to the pool and beach. Very comfortable bed. Our daughter ended up sleeping upside down on the hideabed in the living room because it was slanted. Once she figured it out she was fine. The Lanai is large and we spent a lot of time there. We’d definitely return to the area.

Loved this condo! Location was ideal, near pool and beach access without being loud. Very clean, no bugs inside. It was a last minute trip for my ten year old and me. Felt very safe, always had parking right next to our entrance. Would definitely stay here again if I came with four or less people, although we usually travel with our 7 family members

We visit Ekahi every year and really loved the location of this condo. It's mere steps from the pool and beach and has a great lanai. The condo was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The condo does need updating, however. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms were not securely fastened, there weren't any towel racks, and could use a bit of TLC all around.
It's impossible to not have a wonderful time at Ekahi so our family really enjoyed our trip.

The Wailea Ekahi Village unit B-8 was an exceptional location. It was extremely well equipped with everything a guest could possibly need. The lanscape was beautiful, the envirnoment quiet and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. It was a really great experience.

Don't get me wrong we had a great stay here. The location is prob the best at Ekahi close to the beach and pool and its quite the social spot as everyone walks past your lanai to get to the beach, which I loved, saying hi to every one and having a chat.
The condo itself, it is nice but I wouldn't say its worth the money for the price we paid even with the location. Its not really updated from my view. Half the outlets didnt hold plugs and just fell out or didnt work, the cooktop still has an issue that was mentioned back in may where the right front stays on high no matter what you set it on. Overall other one bedrooms that are much cheaper and almost as close we have stayed at are much cleaner, updated and set up with guests in mind. Theres not alot of reinvestment here, the kitchen, bathrooms and everything in general need some updates. Get that updated and its hands down worth the extra being close to beach and pool.
We also had some unexpected maintenance we were advised about a few weeks before our stay which ended up being far more disruptive than advised. My concerns were that the host company constantly had a difficult time getting a hold of the owner and the owner was hesitant to make it right, but several weeks later the hosts pulled through.
I notified the hosts during our stay of the issues above.

Super nice and the pool and beach are just steps away- super pretty pool and great for kids as they have a nice walking ledge.
The unit itself was OK. Not very many utensils/bowls for large cooking, the pots were cheap so burned the eggs and the stove had only one setting (on low it was still Burning hot!) the AC unit was not ideal it kept me up all night as it kicked on every 10 minutes and was super loud and the bed was extremely firm in the master, so that didn’t aid in sleeping (though the pull out couch was surprisingly comfortable). The unit could use some renovation but at the same time I get it, it’s a little beach cottage— the carpet was great for the 8mo old but it was pretty tired looking. All that said, it was still a great stay and I would stay here again for location and just know what things I would need to bring to have a better stay. 4 out of 5 stars as Hawaii is just magical can’t complain too much!;)

One of the two heating/air conditioning units went out first day. Someone came and checked shortly after our call on a Sunday afternoon. The failed unit was replaced a couple of days later. Very efficient.

Loved the location of this condo. The double lanai was spacious and had lots of room for entertaining. The view is great from there. They had beach chairs and an umbrella for the beach which was a short walk. Other items as well. Kitchen is small but everything you need is there.

This unit was in an ideal location on the Ekahi property - close to beach and pool. Ekahi property itself is beautifully maintained and an easy walk to restaurants and shops in Wailea. The unit was very clean and well supplied. Bedding was clean but could use a refresh. Only downside was the excessive noise from the air conditioners of the units on either side (we only used our ceiling fans) which made sitting on the lanai not so peaceful. Would definitely stay again though - location can’t be beat.

We chose this condo because we love the complex and the location next to the pool and beach was AMAZING! We sacrificed an updated interior for the location. The property could use some updating, but we were comfortable. The bed and pillows really could use an upgrade, It was really nice to have a full kitchen and all the beach accessories. The lanai was so peaceful - I spent many of my mornings relaxing with coffee and book in hand.

Ekahi 8b was a delightful, spacious condo in the lower Village. It is located just steps away from the main pool and pavilion with easy beach access.

This unit is great. It's backdoor is steps from the gate to the main pool, pavilion, beach access area. We wouldn't even wear our flip flops because it's right there. We never worried about locking the slider because the property is safe.
The only bad part of the experience was the property management company. They were very strict about early check-in. It would be nice if you could get in 30 minutes early if the maid has done her work. They will charge you for an extra night.

We loved the location of this unit! The condo complex slopes down to the beach, and it meant a lot to us to be just steps away from the pool pavilion and beach access. (No big hill to climb to return to the condo!) The shaded lanai was a perfect place to sit outside at sunrise or sunset, and watch the ocean, the sky, and the birds. Nearby Ulua beach is great for snorkeling, and we even did a shore SCUBA dive from there. The beach path gives access to a wonderful walk along the resorts and beaches. The unit itself is adequately appointed, although the decor is dated and a little tired. We had a few maintenance issues, which were handled promptly. The kitchen is set up for very basic cooking. The countertops and cupboards are unusually high, which makes the kitchen a little difficult for a smaller person to work in. The bed is not ideal for someone who prefers a firm mattress. All that said, the location was so perfect that we would return to this unit again.

This rental had a great location - steps from the pool and the beach. The place was clean and well-decorated, although maybe a little dated (especially the bathrooms). The only thing I was dissatisfied with was the lack of shampoo. It sounds like a little thing, but it's a hard item to travel with, so I'd have preferred it was offered.

We have stayed at Ekahi Village many times. 8B is a great location. The construction going on was very loud at times causing us to leave or keep doors closed. I would book this unit again when the construction is over.
