This was an amazing place to stay. Very clean other than the carpet under the bed really needed some vacuuming and there was a black hair on the sheets (I'm blonde). Other than that, spotless and very clean! Would definitely stay here again.

Pros:
- Bay view, trade breezes, and wave sounds from lanai.
- Sunrises from small back yard of resort.
- Central, east "Coconut" coast location; an hour or less to any destination on the island. 12 minutes to airport.
- Close to restaurants, grocery stores, shops, Lydgate Beach Park, Ke Ala Hele Makalae trail, hiking, Wailua River & Falls.
- Well-equipped unit, including kitchen, bathroom, and beach needs (towels, umbrella, snorkeling).
- Nice, uncrowded swimming pool.
Cons:
- Air conditioning in only the bedroom, but trade breezes compensate beautifully.
- On the edge of urban area (with busy gas station off busy main thoroughfare and people occasionally congregating nearby).
- Before knowing it was the old, iconic Seashell Restaurant, the abandoned property next door was a concern. After researching, this became an interesting highlight!

The location is great if you plan to visit all of the island. It will not be more than an hour drive to get to either the northern or southern end, with most points of interest a short drive or walk away.
This location is off a main highway with a bridge under construction, there is a lot of driftwood on the beach, and some harmless, but often loud semi-homeless folks occupy part of the beach. One of the main reasons this location was selected was because of the view and easy access to the beach, so the reality was a little disappointing. That said, we did spend time on the beach, and felt completely safe.

This property is convenient to shopping and restaurants. It is very close to the highway and the noise was more than I expected. With that being said though, I would most definitely stay here again. It was clean. The view was amazing. The pool area was beautifully maintained. I had an issue with the hair dryer but it was quickly taken care of. Great customer service!

Property looks right over the ocean and the beach is right next to the complex. Also very easy to walk to the mall nearby. The noise was a small issue as the windows don't fully sealed but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

The property is located in the middle of the island with easy access to all points. We enjoyed the view of the beach from the lanai where we could see the waves and trees just below us.

this unit was awesome. It had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable and the unit was very very clean. I love that it was centrally located on the island. The view from the deck was amazing. it was a short walk to the Beach.

First time staying on East shore. Location was nice. Easy walk to food & stores. Very clean condo & property with everything we needed. Street was noisy but soon became white noise. Loved the view & pool. Lydgate Park was a favorite & very close.

My partner and I had a blast during our stay checking out multiple spots all around the island and the rental was great base camp for our day trips. The beach provided a beautiful view for morning coffee from the balcony and walks during the evening. Looking forward to returning!

This condo had everything you'll need. Great view of the beach, wonderful decor, great location central to visiting to all parts of Kauai. We've stayed at this complex before. Very clean grounds, very nice pool with BBQ area. Many places to eat and drink within walking distance to just a couple of miles. Markets also very close by. The only drawback is the noise from the highway. This is the only way between east and west Kauai, so there is traffic all night. If you're accustomed to traffic noise, a heavy sleeper or very early riser, this won't bother you. All in all it was a great place to stay!
PS - Need to mention great onsite staff and response to a couple of minor issues by property manager.

Since this was our first time in Hawaii it was difficult to know where to stay. However, this condo met most of our needs for our vacation. We really appreciated having the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler to use at the beach and while exploring the island. The location of the condo on the island made it convenient to get anywhere on the island within 30-40 min. However, the condo is right next to the main road and there was significant road noise. Also, the condo is not air conditioned, except the bedroom, and it was very hot during our stay. Having the bedroom air conditioned made it bearable but it's not ideal to have to hang out in the bedroom in order to stay cool. Also, for those with mobility issues, please note that the condo is on the third floor and there is no elevator.
Overall, I am glad that we stayed at a condo instead of a hotel. It was nice being able to make our own breakfast before we went out for the day. Also, except for the road right next to the condo, the view was amazing and listening to the waves makes you really feel like you are on vacation.

Really enjoyed the stay. Located very central to both ends of island. Only negative was traffic noise but crashing waves drowned most of it out. Rooster crowing every morning became funny as it wasn’t the greatest crow ever heard!!! If you’ve ever been around roosters you’ll know what I mean when you hear it!!
Unit was clean with all the little extra touches needed to make the stay great. Thanks for the experience.

Great ocean view, friendly staff and clean space with amazing beach access. Also, nice interior design. Only very minor issue was traffic noise off of Kuhio Highway but white noise of AC unit at night makes this pretty much a non issue.

We decided for my husbands 60th birthday we should go to Kauai! Why not! I did a bit of research and stumbled across this location! It was great! The pictures are exactly how the property was! Close to shopping to grocery stores. Beautiful views! We will be back!

I liked everything about it, with the exception of 3 things that i just had to accommodate too.
It is very close to the main road ( Hawaii style windows/ noise is high due to traffic , but you get used to it).
Barbecue aria closes at 9 pm ..... thought that to be a bit early for a vacation and on the beach to the right, there where some homeless tents.
But ... life is great in Kauai.
Overall, great location ( ocean view), plenty of things to do walking distance and the beach is right there for a swim, walk or hanging out.
The condo was clean and very nice.
I am happy w my stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five-day stay at the condo! The listing was accurate, pictures were exact (awesome view, btw!), and location was a perfect starting point for each day's activities. The only negative, and it isn't a condo negative, was that there were some squatters who set up camp on the adjacent beach, which wasn't an issue, in and of, itself. But, they kept a fire going most nights and we had to keep the balcony sliding door closed in order to keep the smoke out. As a result, it got quite stuffy in the condo at night. But, it wasn't a problem once we went to bed, as the bedroom had a/c in it. Because of this, though, I knocked a certain five-star rating down to a four-star one.
