D6 features one of the few signature views of the Sealodge complex. The windows face the open ocean, the coral reef, and the Anini shoreline which extends to the Kilauea Lighthouse. D6 is a second floor, corner suite with one wall that practically opens to the sky and ocean beyond. Because one large window faces north and three large windows and a patio (lanai) face the lighthouse in the east, our guests have a 180º view from one of Kauai’s most spectacular locations. Sealodge stands on a 150-foot bluff above the ocean. Through the windows and from the lanai of D6, you hear waves breaking on the reef and can see whales that seasonally inhabit the waters below.  D6 has new furniture, art, a daybed, plantation shutters, and colorful rugs! This, in addition to the previously installed Pergo floors, window shades, and ceiling fan, provides a comfortable retreat for our guests as they explore the North Shore of Kauai. Beautifully furnished, D6 has a washer/dryer, a Chinese mahogany cabinet that encloses cable TV and DVD/CD players. Since 2009 a new king-sized bed has been included in this already impressive package. Sleeps 3. The unit is furnished with games, books, and binoculars.

Washer not working. Dishwasher comes out when you open it. Windows hard to open in a non AC apartment. Only one Under the counter light to light up the kitchen. Too many stairs up amd then down to get to this apartment. Beach is a hike which is not easy, especially if grounds are wet. We turned around halfway as it was slippery. No basics like salt, pepper, oil, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer are provided. Microwave inside door is rusted. I apologize for this review but this is my first bad review , for someone who’s renting from VRBO for years.

Very cool location, can walk/ hike to a private beach. All the windows and mirrors help to enjoy the views no matter where you are in the condo. I had to call the manager at arrival since no copies where given to access the unit, she answered immediately and got us in. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

small condo with incredible view but basically no kitchenware or cooking essentials. kitchen window leaked when closed and soaked the countertop. not much hot water. one of the lamps was broken, as was at least one of the window screens. the floor under the bed and the bed skirt were covered in dust. pool was closed. overall had a great time, and the view almost made up for the shortcomings, but the condo definitely needs some improvements and amenities for such a high price.

This property has views that are even better in person. We saw sea turtles and dolphins from the balcony. Everything was very clean, minus some mold around the bathtub (probably hard to prevent in tropics) and on some of the hangers in the closet. Parking was FREE and not hard to find. Communication was ok, usually heard back within half a day. Cant really complain too much with a view like this and a location like this, but here were our downsides: 1. none of the blinds were functional, so we woke with the sunrise and didn't dress in the bedroom, if anyone was out enjoying the sea views, and turned around they would also see other views they didnt mean to! haha. Getting up with the sunrise was fine because WOW so beautiful. They did offer to have someone come fix the blinds but we ended up just dealing with it. 2. bed could use a new mattress, and maybe a new coat of paint in the bedroom as well. there was some dingyness around the windows. 3. aforementioned mold around the bathtub (probably hard to prevent in tropics) and on some of the hangers in the closet. 4. there were the smallest shampoo/conditioner/soap etc you'd ever see. enough for one shower... and there were two of us staying for 7 nights. It just would have been nice to have a little more.

Beautiful views and easy check in process. Property is a bit dated. Needs some new blinds and a mattress. Would recommend

7 star (out of 5) review for location and view! Spent many days at the 'secret beach' below the condo, many of which were spent alone without a local or tourist. The buildings are old, and the interior is the same, and while it is kept very clean, it's a bit worn. The only reason for the overall 4 star review. With that said, we'd absolutely recommend it to anyone and we'd very much consider staying here again!

Peaceful, comfortable and extraordinary day bed handout and view.

Great view and location. No A/C and large piece of screen corner out. Cost of stay wound up being well over twice what was posted due to large owners fee and large cleaning fee - we stayed one night.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
