My family and I rent from this hotel at least once a year. This year my husband and myself rented this particular room The location is perfect. and just like on the picture is exactly the view we had. It was super clean and had everything we needed. Full Kitchen even though I used it once to make a full breakfast. Full fridge kept all our drinks and fruit chilled. Property Management was there for us with any questions we had. The only part I had a little trouble with was the TV. It was just hard for me to navigate it. But I hardly watch TV anyways. I would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. My family rent their own rooms at the same hotel every year with us. We usually go in December The bar and restaurant downstairs is great and the bartenders are super helpful to help you as to what to do on the island. Thanks again and hopefully see you next year!!!!

The Ikikai is a beautiful place to stay, well appointed, kind and friendly staff, close to many restaurants and a short walk into the popular bars/hotels/restaurants of Waikiki beach.
I wish I could give this room a 5/5, the room itself is beautiful, well maintained and clean. The view from the lanai is beautiful. Better than pictured. The bed is very comfortable, full size fridge, and all the amenities. Including body boards and lawn chairs you can take to the beach.
DO NOT STAY ON THE LAGOON side of Ilikai or at the Hilton unless you enjoy chanting, drumming, and very loud protest happening due to the steike at the Hilton, they have blow horns and loud soeaksrs on blast from 6:30am- 10:00 pm. We were woke up by them every morning, located in the parking structure at the Hilton. We had one gentleman tell us to go home. You cannot enjoy the Lanai or the pool area. Quick way to ruin a vacation. This is at no fault of the Ikikai, but if we would have known, we would have booked across town or outside of Waikiki.

My friend and I came to Waikiki to stay for a friends wedding and extended our trip to explore more of Hawaii. This VRBO was central to everything we did! Most places were in walking distance and it had a cute little coffee shop located at the bottom of the hotel. They provided beach chairs which were so nice to take to the beach with us. The company was so easy to work with and communicate any questions or needs.
We had troubles booking tours with a company and talked with someone at concierge desk with the hotel and Christian was so great.
We both highly recommend this VRBO and would stay here again!

Even better than the pictures. Very comfortable bed. Park on the street overnight for $1 an hour instead of hotel parking at $45 a day and spend that money elsewhere!

We arrived very late, and when we got to the condo there were some major issues (related to cleanliness of unit and items in disrepair). It made the first night awful for us. Management company rectified the next morning, replaced items and went out of their way to make sure we were happy and were extremely apologetic. I think this can be mitigated in the future with a thorough inspection of the unit after each renter.
That said, the owners clearly have put time and care into the unit, and it shows. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Great view, comfortable bedding, almost new pots/pans/plates/fridge. You have access to two pools, lagoon, central to almost anything you would like in Waikiki. Would definitely recommend.

Nicely situated towards the end of Waikiki, near Ala Moana Mall. Had issues with the AC unit (battery & towards end of stay was leaking). One of the beach chairs and 1 of the boogie boards were a bit old and dilapidated. Otherwise, a great place! Great view of fireworks on Friday nights!

First off, we were very pleased with our condo. As soon as we walked in the door, we knew we had made the right decision in going through VRBO. The unit has a partial ocean view, was super clean; came with a comfy king-size bed, a sofa sleeper, and a full kitchen which really was nice because we chose to fix our own dinners on two occasions, and finally, having a refrigerator was super convenient. The large-screen television was sweet and the location was also perfect for us. Not too close to the cluster of all the other hotels but still oceanfront. I was also able to book my excursion to Pearl Harbor which was super convenient and for me, well worth the cost. Thanks VERBO.

I was beyond impressed with this space. It’s true to description and photos. The view is just breathtaking and sitting on the balcony look out to the ocean was my favorite spot every morning. Very spacious kitchen. A lot of things within walking distance including the mall if you like to shop. Nice access point to the beach. 10/10 recommendations for couples or a solo trip.

The pictures don’t do it justice - the outside view of the ocean is even better than the pictures and it is the perfect place for the fireworks
The condo is well stocked and it’s perfect for an extended stay
The hotel has two restaurants and it’s connected to another hotel so there are lots of options. Also, there are all kinds of options from McDonald’s to Red Lobster right outside.

We enjoyed staying at this condo which has lagoon and pool view. Key code based checkin was seamless. The overall property, shops, pool, location are awesome. It's a bit of walk (20+ minutes) to Waikiki Beach Center which was okay for us.
Small nit-pick, vacuum cleaner is pretty much broken (no dustpan alternative either) so keeping condo floor sand-free was challenging. It would have been nice if it had boogie-board , basic beach gear though not a big deal.

The rental was comfortable, well located and somewhat clean. The kitchen counter was dirty, I found a contact next to the bed and hair around the unit. Short on supplies for a 5 day stay. One little tube of body wash doesn’t cut it. Otherwise it was a good spot if you want to be in Waikiki, the bed was comfortable and it’s air conditioned.

This is a nice condo with a fabulous view and great location on the far edge of Waikiki. Pro's: It's close to shopping, restaurants, and the nearby lagoon was great. I loved sitting out on the lanai, enjoying the view. It's close to the bus/trolley stop. The shops downstairs were fun and the little market was convenient for small snacks and items. The streaming and the TV was good and the internet worked well. The laundry facility down the hall was nice to have access to. It had most basic things needed.Con's: The amenities were scant in the kitchen. I can understand keeping things basic, although there were no coffee filters for the coffee maker, the can opener was rusty and didn't work, there was one small frying pan, small pots and no measuring cups. If you plan to cook/bake be prepared to not have what you might need or to have "old" and small stuff to work with. The bed was OK but the bedding was not super comfortable with very thin sheets that seemed like cheap hotel quality. Although mostly quiet, we had noisy neighbors next door who played their music VERY loudly. Thankfully a call to Ali'i Rentals helped, as they contacted hotel staff to address it. The pool has "rules" that took getting used to and it became clear that residents don't seem to take too kindly to visitors. A note about the pool, including the resident exercise time, would have been helpful.Overall, it was a nice place to stay, and we enjoyed this condo as our home base in Waikiki for five nights. I tend to appreciate small touches of comfort and care that I found lacking, though. I had a sense that things were kept very slim and not very nice because it's a "rental". I've stayed in many rentals, however, with small touches and nicer things that can make a huge difference in the overall feeling of comfort and being respected as a guest. If some of these things were upgraded and addressed, I would highly recommend this property.

Pesca the 30th floor restaurant at Ilikai was great. Ice cream shop at Ilikai was great too. Nice view from lanai. Ocean and the Hilton lagoon. A/C worked great and super quiet.

This is a nice renovated 1 bed studio apartment.We liked the view from here. The views are exactly same as you can see from the photos. The balcony is very spacious. The kitchen and appliances were in excellent conditions. Kids also enjoyed watching the netflix on the big TV.Couple of things which we missed, there is no dishwasher and exhaust in the bathroom other than that it was a sweet experience. Definitely recommend it to a couple with two kids.
