This was a great place for our Thanksgiving! It’s a roomy place with a killer sunset view. The lanai is not really a lanai. It’s teeny. There’s no pool at the facility. But for someone who has family in Hawaii and likes to stay near Waikiki… it’s perfect. The carpets were a little slippery And could use a wash but all in all a really nice stay!!

We loved staying in this unit overlooking the marina. It was a treat every time we walked in the door. The sky, clouds and ocean colors constantly changing with beautiful rainbows too! The unit itself is immaculate, bright and comfortable. The balcony is tiny, but we were able to squeeze into the space with a glass of wine to enjoy the evening sunset. The panoramic views are much better than what you will pay top dollar for in surrounding hotels. That is the advantage of an older building having the best location! We would definitely stay here again.

Wow. What a view every day and night. Sunrises, sunsets, 180 degree view of the ocean, lagoon, yacht harbor, city lights. With it's slightly north of Waikiki location it is much quieter than on the beach but its a quick walk to either the Waikiki Beach or Ala Moana Beach, my personal favorite for swimming. The unit was well appointed and the bed was fantastic. Loved the double sink bathroom.Only issue was on check in, the person responsible did not get back to us until midnight, but thankfully the Captain Cook resorts figured out how to get us into the unit.

1. Check in process - you must call property manager prior to getting there - took approx 15 min to get a call back, nerve wracking since area is busy and unsure where to go until the call back. A welcome email with instructions would be super helpful!
2. Parking prices - wasn’t listed / constantly changing it was $33 a day
3. Maintenance issues - they had to have someone come in multiple times during our stay to fix the AC. Interruptions on our vacation for this was disappointing. The final time they came, the AC stopped working. We came back after a long day and it was 80 degrees. The last night was rough with uncomfortable temperatures and we had a long travel day ahead. Also started to smell horrible mildew - maintenance confirmed a leak and they had to come in each day to fix it.
4. The front door only had 1 lock - anyone with a code can come in even with the door locked from the inside. There are trash hours and can only throw away trash at certain hours. Inconvenient with a baby and diapers and early flights.
Great location! The views at sunrise and sunset are stunning! Could always find a parking spot. The parking garage exit can be hectic at times - the traffic is backed up at the light sometimes unable to make the left turn.

We stayed with our 2 girls, 18 and 13, who slept on the pullout sofa bed. The condo is adorable and the view is so nice/. We loved watching the sailboats come into the harbor and surfers riding waves in the distance. Property Manager is super nice and helpful. You will need to download an app to pay for the laundry machines (if you need to use them). The minimum amount to put on the app is $10 and each washer or dryer is &3.25 each. We dried 2 loads in one dryer to save $ and it dried all the clothes fine. Don’t hesitate to book, this is really an awesome place for many reasons!

The unit was just as described. Clean, furniture in great condition and comfortable. We stayed on 3 islands during our trip, with some of the locations costing 3 times the rate, and the mattress was far and away the most comfortable of all. Easy check in and out, and best of all it was in the middle of everything. We could walk anywhere along Waikiki and it was easier getting in and out when we needed to drive to the many beautiful sites around Oahu. Would definitely stay here again.

I opted to stay here instead of a hotel for a conference I attended at the Convention Center and I’m so glad I did! I love this condo. The decor is so cute and classy. Very clean, updated, fully functional. The balcony is small but enjoyable. I can’t imagine a better view of the Friday night fireworks. The bar downstairs is fun and you’ve got an ABC store

The condo is as pretty in person as it is in photos. Very clean, well appointed, and an incredibly memorable view of the marina and beach. It's in a great location too - walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The check-in and check-out process couldn't be more efficient. The property management team are great with communications. Definitely recommend!

While your view is out over the marina and not the beach, it is a lovely sight to wake up to. This location is ideal for walking around Waikiki. We loved that there is an onsite car rental agency in the parking garage. It made it quite easy to rent and return without going too far!

Pros: Nicely maintained home. Good location. Extremely responsive / helpful property managers.
Cons: Very old building, expensive laundry ($6.50 per load) , convenient, but expensive parking.
Unit is well-maintained, however, lacking some basic amenities. There was only one small soap in the home. Only a small blanket that didn’t cover the pull out couch.

Ilikai Marina is close enough to walk to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Trolley stop within walking distance as well. Beautiful view of the marina. (Helpful hint: when booking pickup rides, make sure the company understands you are at the Ilikai Marina Condos and not the Ilikai Hotel right around the corner.). Management company is very receptive to questions and ensuring a comfortable stay. Great communication.

The photos are accurate--this is a beautiful, sparkling clean property with awesome views of the ocean, lagoon and marina. Wonderful view of the Friday fireworks too. Communication with Property Manager James was great and check-in was seamless. We were curious to try the Toto Washlet and now we have to splurge and get one for home. The location is close to bus/tram stops and and the attached parking garage is very convenient if you rent a car. It's easy to drive to downtown Honolulu and explore other Oahu destinations from this location too.

I'm not one who usually leaves reviews but I had such an amazing time on vacation I felt I had to share my experience. First, the ease of checking into the rental unit #1184 was just the beginning of my wonderful trip. The property manager was so accommodating & explained everything it couldn't have gone any smoother. Let me say from the minute you walk through the door, you are instantly relaxed. The view of the blue ocean, boats in the harbor, white sands of the beach transform your mood into pure happiness. The unit is gorgeous! It has a full kitchen for the days you don't feel like going out to eat, huge bathroom, beach chairs, everything you can think of. It is centrally located in Waikiki and within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, shopping and of course beaches. The Chart House is right downstairs and one of my favorite restaurant/bar to visit. I will definitely be back and staying here the next time I'm in Hawaii. Mahalo for making my holidays so merry! Great views, close to both the beach and lagoon at ilikai, and walkable distance to Waikiki and Ala Moana, away from the crowds.Very professional management - helpful and friendly. Everything supplied, air-con a bit noisy and occasionally at night from the marina, but nothing to worry about. Would stay again. Close to local stores and both restaurants and take aways - with The Chart House restaurant in the same building!

Nicely renovated older unit that has nice new flooring, kitchen, etc. Felt nice and clean with a nice view overlooking the marina and yet walking distance to downtown and other amenities. Parking is an add on but nice to have if you are driving around and need it.

This is a spacious renovated unit with an exceptional view. I believe this unit is larger than those found in the Ilikai Hotel and is facing straight towards the ocean so you can see the Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon and watch the fireworks on Friday nights. A few things could be better though. The carpet and windows in the unit need to be cleaned better and the bathroom fan needs to be fixed. Over all though, given the price its and great place to stay.

Parking is a but of a pain with an additional $25+ a day and wish that was included in price. But having covered parking was a nice perk. Room was good enough for the 3 of us. Loved the views, we would definitely look at coming back here next time.

This trip was for my 50th birthday, Hawaii 50". My husband and son were with me. This condo was cute, clean, stocked with essentials, and has a gorgeous panoramic view of Honolulu to the marina and the lagoib and Hilton to the left. I saw excursion boats coming and going, surfers out feont. I could check out the activity of the lagoon, use my binoculars to zoom in on the park to the right. There is a busy street below with the Charthouse restaurant that we visited twice. I used a fan app for white noise at night. The king bed was great. My son used the pullout sofa bed and reported it was comfortable. There is an ABC store for convenience across the intersection behind the Ilikai building. We used two beach chairs (provided) to walj down to Waikiki beach to snorkel and watch the sunsets. There is a garluc shrimp food truck parked by the lagoon/beach area. We snorkeled at the reef off the the Hilton area beach. We saw many different sea life including a huge sea turtle, so great! Know you need water shoes as rocks are covering the sea floor until it becomes swimming depth. YOU NEED WATER SHOES EVERYWHERE! There is a washroom on the 8th floor. We rented a jeep. The daily parking is $28. Know that some hiking areas and snorkeling areas require tickets ahead. We encountered rain often. You need rain gear. We bought umbrellas. Overall our condo stay was accomodating and our trip was great!

It was a great condo to rent. Everything was just as in the photos, There were beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas in the closet to use, which I did not expect, and was wonderful!. Very clean, and they also have shampoo and soaps supplied. Would definately stay again. The one thing that happened to us, is the fire alarm went off during the night one night. Was all good, got dressed and went for a walk... it is warm in Waikiki in the middle of the night.... A little disapointed about the recycling. We are from Canada, and we recycle everything, not just bottles and cans.. And it did not tell us where the can recycling was. We did find it in the parking garage.

The area surrounding this older building is a little sketchy and the small street below the balcony is unusually loud. The sounds of people yelling, motorcycles, trucks, daily loading of oxygen tanks for scuba tours reverberate right into the condo. The view is spectacular though so it makes up for it, you can't get this view at this rate anywhere. Bed is very soft and comfortable, and the sofa is extremely comfy to sleep on too. Didn't use the pull out part of it, just slept on the couch and loved it. Excellent kitchen and bathroom. Two negatives were that we didn't feel safe in the parking lot because it's not gated, anyone can walk in off the street to the parking lot or elevators. Just know that there's no front desk staff or security guard. You are on your own here. There is no lock on the front door from the inside so anyone with the combo to the door can enter anytime, either by mistake or worse. I think a lock should be added. The area rugs are filthy, please have them cleaned or just throw them out.

The condo was exactly as presented. Clean, bright, well decorated, air conditioned, and bed was extremely comfortable. Everything we needed to feel at home was provided. The location and view spectacular. Check in was super easy and the app they provide tells you everything you would want to know. Easy to contact your property manager. We enjoyed dinner and drinks while viewing the best sunsets ever, and of course Friday night fireworks. Loved our location as it allowed us great walks to Waikiki Beach everyday or night..or both, but wasn't as crowded. A 10 minute walk to the Ala Moana Centre for great shopping.
Duke Kahanamoku Beach was beautiful. Nice sandy beach and warm waters. We invested $24 for 2 floating chairs and could have floated forever. Coral reef easy to swim to to snorkle, and bonus was seeing a few sea turtles. Also used the lagoon where you could drift off and not worry about a thing.
Having such outstanding accommodations helped to make our dream trip perfect.

This place has a gorgeous view of the marina (especially at sunset) and is close to the beach, shops and restaurants. It has a beautiful kitchen and nice furnishings as pictured. Lots of extra pillows and blankets were provided upon request, which was nice since I was there for surgery. The A/C worked well but in the evenings it was cool enough that you didn't really need it. They have roller shades that have both block out shades and solar shades you can see through. This was a very nice feature since this unit gets direct sun in the afternoons and bright light in the mornings.
It could get a bit noisy in the evenings at times, even with the doors and windows closed, due to the bar just below, as well as other people partying on their balconies and boats in the marina, but most people are there to have a good time so it was understandable.
It could have been a bit cleaner as we noticed our feet got dirty from the floors shortly upon arrival, the area rugs were a bit soiled, and the drain in the shower backed up while showering, but would eventually drain. We noticed a little bit of a musty smell in the bathroom as the fan wasn't working so it seems there's likely poor ventilation. I'm very sensitive to mold and mildew but most people probably wouldn't notice it. Otherwise it was very clean.
Tips: We only received 1 very tiny bar of hotel sized soap - to be shared between the 2 sinks and the shower between the 2 of us so you might want to request a couple of extra bars of soap ahead of time. Also, you might want to grab a bag of ice on your way in if you want ice right away, as there's no ice maker, only ice trays that were empty upon arrival. Lastly, if you have a lot of luggage be aware there's no luggage cart here as these are condos and not a hotel.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this property to others.
