Surrounded by outstanding dining and shopping establishments and the exciting entertainment and night life of Waikiki, you'll find that the Hawaiian Monarch is in a very convenient location.

The building and elevators are security controlled for your peace of mind.

Guest access:

The gym is available for $5 for your entire atay.

Interaction with guests:

I would be happy to hear from you when you arrive at the airport and if you need any assistance throughout your stay.

Other things to note:
Yes there is parking in the building, operated by an outside company for $30/day. Unfortunately parking in Waikiki is difficult and expensive everywhere. In Waikiki a car is not needed, but it is nice for exploring other parts of the island. Many people only rent one for the days they are exploring the island.
Enterprise Car Rental just started a rent by the hour feature, $9/hour, and they have car pickup/dropoff a hotel very nearby.
Uber is very easy to use here too.

The view from our room was awesome. The hotel was a few walk from Walmart, beach, mall. Th kitchenette was very useful. There were beach chairs, that was really great.

A very nice spot close to Waikiki Beach. We stayed 5 days in Hawaii & not one time did I feel uneasy or unsafe. Check-in would have been much smoother had I reread instructions. Parking was too expensive & the gal at the gate was rude. Larry answered all questions promptly & we would book again :)

We had a great stay, and enjoyed the suite. The suite is in very good shape and had everything you needed for a nice stay, you want to eat out or in. Larry was easy to get ahold of and very accommodating. The building this Suite is in could really use an update and some fresh paint, but for the time you spend here it's not that bad. Would definitely consider staying here again, and would recommend this suite to others.

This condo was fantastic! The perfect size for two people in an amazing location right at the start of the Waikiki strip. It was easily accessible both walking and driving. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to the Ala Moana mall where we watched the 4th of July fireworks. The view from the condo is spectacular! You can see from the Alawai canal to the ocean all backed by the mountains. Larry made the check in process absolutely simple. It was the perfect honeymoon for my wife and I. Absolutely loved it!

Safe and convenient; nice views from the 36th floor. The king size bed provided very good support. TV was just the right size but there was a limited number of stations to view.

The rental was as promised: Clean, nice king sized bed, large windows with view of the city, full sized fridge, bath and kitchen (even a small oven with stove top, coffee maker and microwave ). There were extra bath towels, extra bed sheets, and even beach towels for our use. Why 4 stars and not 5? There were only sheer curtains which don't block out the daylight. There were a few days we wanted to sleep in, but rather difficult to do so. If you like getting up early with the sun this would be no issue. The towels must have been brand new so we got quite fuzzy when we used them. These are our only complaints. The owner got in touch with us after we booked the place, responded quickly and when our date of arrival approached gave us contact info of one of his people nearby who could assist us if needed. I would recommend this place to friends and family (warn them about the sheer curtains). Our walks to the beach took about 10 min. A fancy breakfast place by the lobby, a bakery for a quick bite and coffee on the opposite side of the lobby as well as a pizza place, even a sushi place in the lower lobby. 7-11 on the same block and all sorts of restaurants within walking distance from cheeseburgers to udon noodles (Marukame Udon always has a line out their doors, but worth it to me) and tempura to upscale dining. We walked to bus stops less than 10 minutes away to go to Hanauma Bay. We didn't rent a car so used busses often when a place was further away than 15 minutes by foot.

Condo's description was accurate, matched pictures and was very clean. It was pretty apparent that Larry took pride in his unit. Larry was very responsive and was available as needed. Only reason I gave this unit a 4 star instead of 5 is the building was a little dated and I paid the daily parking fee which was not cheap. There are options to park on the nearby streets but I felt my car would be safer in the lot. I would stay here again.

Note: Vacancy calendar is approximate. Visit the owner/manager's reservation site to verify your dates.
