The instructions on checking in and checking out were great. The unit was clean and ready to go. The location was great for being able to walk to activities and food locations. The AC units worked well too. Only thing of note is the rather small washing machine and the direction to not leave more than two loads at the end of the stay to be washed or an additional fee will be charged. When using the pullout couch and washing comforters/quilts, it would take several loads to get this request accomplished with the small machine. Overall a great stay here! Would stay again for sure.

Many positives for this condo: nice lanai, comfy living room, fine kitchen/dining, good location. Nice compact w/d units, which we used. Lanai was outfitted with nice chairs, day-bed. Parking is a must in Kona and great to have with this unit, in garage below, or small lot on main level. Also, a lot of beach items for customer's use: chairs, cooler, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and condo was in a great location for wedding activities we were in Kona to attend.
An unfortunate aspect of this unit must be mentioned, however. The mattresses are not comfortable. Mattresses need to be replaced, plain and simple.

Overall, the stay was positive. The location was great. The unit and the entire building is somewhat dated but comfortable. My biggest complaint would be the numerous and rather stern instructions on the requirements of our stay, arrival and departing steps, etc. No one was ever in the office anytime we walked by. All the construction was certainly an annoyance.

It was a nice condo, better than expected. Tv did not work first night, it was replaced on the last night. We did see roach activity, so we kept all food in fridge. Sofa couch not comfortable, but did the job. It was a hassle to get to parking garage thur elevator you needed a key all the time, and parking garage entrance was difficult with large vehicle due to renovations going on. Condo was in perfect location

We enjoyed our stay in Kona Plaza #215, 2 weeks ago now! The condo was laid out perfectly for my wife and I, we loved the screened in balcony and had coffee out there daily, WOW! We loved the decor (color schemes) and all the amenities!We enjoyed the pool as well as the Grills on the roof tops (we were in a group of 10)! The starter supplies were very thoughtful as well as the On Site Manager! Very clean property & we will stay there in the future!

It was a decent place to stay for vacation. It felt like home. They had everything we needed like our own home. The only downside was the air conditioner could not get cold and in certain areas of the apartment it was hot. The location was great we were right in the heart of Kona.

The condo is perfectly located in the main area of Kona. It’s small but nicely furnished. The patio area is nice and has a trundle bed on it. It would be nice if there was a privacy screen so you don’t feel so exposed if sleeping out there. The kitchen is fully furnished if you want to cook. I would definitely recommend renting this property because of its location to everything.

I appreciated that, as a home, it was well equipped with household staples like olive oil, plastic wrap, bandaids, and aloe (ouch). It was a well-equipped suite with great furniture, a quiet, peaceful view, lots of space, & equipment to borrow. I loved sleeping & chilling on the daybed on the lanai. Great communication from the manager. I would return or recommend to anyone.

Condo needs new pillows. Shower in guest bedroom doesn’t work well. Need shower bars to hold onto in main at broom. Rug in the bathroom is dangerous for older individuals. Other than the above the condo is well stocked snd the patio is lovely with all the stuff you need for the beach.

The apartment was perfectly fitted out for two couples, spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The key for the lift to the garage was a bit tricky but we managed to get it to work most days.Great location for walking out to get dinner or drinks.

Great place to stay. Having a full kitchen with all the tools and washer/dryer was very helpful. Perfect location in walking distance of pretty much everything. The lanai was a nice place to hang out. It was warm outside without the sun and the fans were perfect to cool you off.

We enjoyed staying in this condo. The beach accessories and beach toys were helpful for my family of 6. The condo is across the street from the historical palace and Kona village town center so there’s a lot of restaurants, bars and stores. Walmart, foodland, target and Longs drugs about 1-2 miles away. Costco is about 4-5 miles away. The beach is about a 5 min walk. The condo had a lot of extras we got to use during our trip. The only cons I have would be the tv. There’s only one in the entire condo and hard to share with the other family members. The screen would intermittently black out or white out. We would have to turn it off and on to reset the tv. The washer was ridiculously noisy during the spin cycle. Other than that, we truly enjoyed the condo. Thank you for having us.

The place is nice, screened in patio was great. a lot of construction on the property currently was not to loud. the wifi would not work for our computer the router is a 3 g and spectrum does not support 3 g, we run a business ended paying for a hot-spot. The TV went into update mode and never came back to regular channels we missed the finale of the voice. We live on puna district side and brought friends to kona side. Walking distance to some nice restaurants and shops Customer service was great with knutson.

I hesitated in leaving this review because if everyone figures out how great this condo is, I'll never be able to book again! But it's too great not to share. What an amazing location, literally steps from Ali'i Drive (shops, restaurants, beautiful ocean views) with two bedrooms and two bathrooms PLUS a beautiful screened in patio with a day bed on it. My mom and I couldn't get enough of the patio area during our stay. Everything was clean, there were plenty of supplies for cooking, laundry, showers, etc. The beds were comfortable and clean. I would say my sole issue is that the curtains weren't long enough in either bedroom so a lot of light came in, but such a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay. The property is easy to find, tucked away in a nice area and all of the tenants are respectful and quiet. Make sure to utilize the bbq decks and the reading library on the 3rd floor. The pool isn't heated but that didn't matter on beautiful, warm Hawaii days. We'll be back!

What a gem of a property! This is my fourth time in Kona and hope to stay here again in the future. The unit is clean and perfectly situated in downtown Kona. Although the property could sleep several people, I am a solo female traveler & was a bit nervous about finding the property and parking at night when I arrived. No need. The directions Steve & Tamara leave are perfectly detailed. I had no trouble at all & felt completely safe during my entire stay. Parking was a cinch. I’m not exaggerating when I say that any questions I had for the owners were answered within minutes. Lastly, the staff working the property were so kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here. The place was clean, it had everything my family needed for the beach. Walking distance to everything in town. The lanai was nice for just relaxing. The lanai was so spacious the whole family could easily hang out there. Lots of room for our family of four. The only negative I can think of was we did not have a pot, but otherwise the kitchen was very well stocked. Not a big deal and I didn't contact the owners about getting one, we just cooked things that didn't need a pot. Overall, this place is a 5/5 and I really had to search to find any negatives. We would definitely come back here again.

We are a party of 3 adults who stayed for 5 nights it we loved it. Everything went so smoothly from the check-in to the checkout and with much fun in between ! 2 bedrooms with 2 complete bathrooms were definitely a plus to us. The large veranda with a nice view was also very appreciated.
We liked the Black Sand Beaches of Punalu’u and Polulu Valley Lookout Trail. The Papakea Green Sand Beach was impressive and nice, but bring lots of water for the exposed hike to get there. The Puako Petroglyphs were quite nice to see and it is a nice no stress little hike. The Captain Cook Monument Trail on the other hand..., now that is quite a hike ! Again, lot’s of water is a no-brainer ! But it is totally worth it to snorkel down there. Just like swimming in an aquarium ! We suggest to go early to be in the water before the Tour Boats come to drop as many snorkelers as possible.
Anyways, it is the way we liked it..., maybe it is not yours :)
But the important thing is to enjoy the Kona region of Big Island and this place is great to do it !

Our group was in Kailua-Kona for the Queen Lili'uokalani Outrigger Canoe Race. The condo was a very convenient location to the race site and accompanying activities. The combination keypad on the door made for easy access without having to worry about a key...very convenient.
We definitely would stay here again.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! The location was so convenient for many events including a wedding and luau. We loved drinking our morning coffee on the balcony and it was spacious enough where we could workout as well. Kitchen was well-stocked with sharp knives and everything we needed for cooking. Highly recommend!
