The property was stunning and beautiful as always.
This is the second year we’ve stayed in the same condo. I would highly recommend a new television in the bedroom. It’s very hard to watch as it has lights shining through it and you can sometimes not see the picture. It was this way last year as well. Otherwise the condo is very nice.

Excellent communication and explicit instructions for check in made it easy to know where to go. Unit was clean and well equipped for my needs. The TV situation was confusing and some written instructions about streaming and other options would have been helpful.

Good location and well stocked with beach chairs available for use. Clean and two AC units to keep the unit cool. Lanai looks over the parking lot but ocean views in distance. Quiet and comfortable place to stay for the week!

We haves stayed a Kamaole Sands several times at different units and this we our least favourite. The AC in the bedroom had only one speed which was high and noisy . We stayed for 9 nights and had very little sleep as AC at a deafening noise level during the night . The microwave hood fan also has only one speed which was high . Toaster was poor quality and didn’t toast well only burned. Kitchen is severely lacking - from utensils (4 large spoons and about 5 forks ) to dishes - three side plates , five mugs and about four dinner plates. As this unit can hold four people , you would have do do dishes after every meal. Can opener was rusted and no baking sheets. TV was hard to use , no instructions provided. Unit was clean and had ample towels for bathroom and beach . It also contained coolers and two beach chairs which was nice for trips to the beach. We paid for late check out for 10 pm but got locked out after 10 am . Thankfully we had cellphone with us to call property rental company to get new door code . Again annoying as late check out was pre- arranged and paid for. View from lanai was amazing but not worth the price we paid and subpar equipment.

Kamaole Sands is our favourite place to stay when visiting Maui but not in this unit. Kitchen was lacking in utensils, plates , mugs so we had to wash dishes after every meal. Can opener was cheap and rusted , no baking sheets and there was only one large unsharp knife for meal prep. The AC unit in the bedroom was uncomfortably loud and you cannot adjust the settings. We slept poorly for all nine nights as AC made so much noise at night but it was too hot to turn it off and use only the ceiling fan. Microwave hood fan only had one setting also - high . Toaster was cheap and only burned not toast. We pre-arranged and paid for late check out for 10 pm but got locked out at 10 am. Unit was clean with amazing view form the lanai . Lots of towels for both bathrooms and beach towels for beach or pool. I would not recommend this unit and it definitely put a hamper on our recent visit to Maui with the price we paid and the subpar equipment and supplies in this unit

The condo was very clean for the most part (the walls in the bathroom could use a good wiping down). The AC was so nice in the bedroom and living room. It was quiet with a nice view of the ocean. We loved the chairs and towels for the beach, but it would be nice to have an umbrella, snorkel gear and maybe some boards for the water. Kitchen had everything we needed and living room was comfortable. The lanai table and chairs were great!

We checked in and the people were great! They gave us lots of information and recommendations since this was our first time in Maui. The place was clean. The view was amazing! The beach was close. The pool was beautiful even though we didn't have time to use it. The only thing my husband complained about was the bed was too firm for him. Otherwise a perfect place. We would stay here again!

We booked this unit for 2 weeks over spring break and couldn't have been happier. The location is perfect, check in was easy, the condo itself was well appointed and had everything we needed! We just got home and I already miss having coffee while watching the whales out on the lanai! Would book this unit again for sure.

We found the condo clean and welcoming. Loved the keyless entry lock. We had family that had to use and keep track of keys in another condo. The lanai isn’t large but perfect for two people. We could see the ocean from the lanai. There is air conditioning in the living room and bedroom and also ceiling fans. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with cooking and serving equipment. We are only two and it was nice to have a bathroom for each. There are two other gated entrances into the property (besides the main entry) which we appreciated. The pool is good, also a kids pool and two hot tubs, one for adults only. We are amazed at the beautiful grounds and the 3 large very nice bar-b-que areas. A nice beach and grassy park is just across the road in front of Kamaole Sands. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The check in process and instructions very easy to follow. Condo was very nicely decorated, comfortable bed and living room furniture. The suite was very clean. Good air conditioners in living room and bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped with dishes. Disappointments: the beach umbrella was very cheap quality without tilt so we had to rent a better one, there was not a beach bag provided, the 3 beach towels were thin and ragged looking, no reusable bags for shopping, no laundry basket.
We were disappointed that there were not any condiments left other than salt and pepper. I guess this was a bonus in previous condos we have rented.
Unfortunately the shower handle in the ensuite malfunctioned and the water could not be shut off on New Years Eve evening. We were not able to reach the condo manager but the Kamaole Sands front desk staff were very helpful get the problem fixed.
Overall a very nice condo with a lovely view of the ocean.

I was on island for work (having recently moved to the mainland) and needed a quiet, clean, well-equipped condo with easy access to Kihei and Wailea. This unit really exceeded my expectations! The location in the complex was perfect. I've stayed in other units here and this was by far the best view and quietest at night. Loved the decor and would highly recommend Kamaole Sands 9-310!!

Great location and complex. Very well maintained and fantastic hot tub and pool. Kitchen had everything you need. Washer and dryer was a huge bonus. Quiet and the sunset views from the lanai were priceless. Outdoor grill and picnic tables for guests to use. Very clean. 5 minute walk to boat dock for Molokini snorkel tour. We chose not to have a car, but we had an assigned parking spot. Security personnel on-site. Highly recommend and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I have stayed at Kamaole Sands a few times so generally knew what to expect from the building and the unit. This is one of the older units (i.e. not recently renovated) and I booked it without pictures of the interior due to the lower price. While the unit itself is fine, there are some key things missing that I would expect from Kam Sands units - there were no chairs or beach items in the closet on the balcony and no basic kitchen supplies (cooking oil, basic spices). Also no Keurig machine and provided coffee pods, which are really nice when you have arrived late the night before.
However, the major issue was with the A/C unit in the bedroom. I contacted the rental company saying it was extremely loud and asking someone to look at it, but no one did. Be warned that this unit is like sleeping with a tornado in your bedroom - it's not like white noise or any A/C unit I've experienced in a hotel or rental before. If you are used to central air or ductless A/C wall-mounted units, this will likely be intolerably loud to you, but also if you are staying in the summer you'll need A/C to sleep at night...
Also note that because of the orientation of this unit, it can be quite dark inside (it runs parallel to the shore, so no sunset or ocean views unless you perch yourself in a one specific spot on the deck as shown in the picture).

Overall we were happy with our stay. This unit is nicely furnished and outfitted with everything you need for cooking. Bed is a bit firm for our tastes but at least it's a king. Big bonus having beach chairs and an ice chest to use. In order to get the air conditioning unit to work more efficiently, open the storage door on the balcony as it was super hot when I discovered that's where the unit was located. Biggest issue we had was with the elevator which was hot and stuffy and had moving blankets hung up in it for the entire week. That made it extra claustrophobic. Most of the water features were not filled while we were there and the pool leaves something to be desired. Very small pool for that size complex.

Our stay at the Kamaole Sands was excellent. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The pool area was excellent. The hot tub was warm. The extra surcharges on the rental were astronomical, more than fifty percent more added to the rental. That’s a shame as it will certainly make it difficult to stay again at those rates and fees.
