From April 22, 2024, all elevators at Waikiki Banyan will undergo complete replacement. Each tower will have 1 elevator replaced at a time. HOW TO GET HERE:
From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we're unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you'd like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we'd suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.
STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.
HOUSEKEEPING:
Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.
The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.
LINENS & TOWELS:
You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.
LAUNDRY ROOMS:
There are laundry rooms on each floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit. There is a coin change machine next to the lobby in Tower 2. Laundry room hours are from 8 am-10 pm daily.
TRASH ROOM:
Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor, next to the emergency exit.

Experience even greater savings! Reach out to us when planning a stay of 30 nights or more and enjoy a 10% discount on your total room fee.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Travelers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that reimburses for prepaid, non-refundable expenses that may arise due to unforeseen circumstances that could jeopardize your vacation investment and would otherwise incur unplanned expenses. The Good: Comfy bed, amazing views, and close to the beach.
The Bad: Checkout is closer to 9am by the time you bring down your bags and have to bring your parking pass up to the room by 9:45am. You’ll see the elevator is a lot busier during checkout so plan ahead.
If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs or sound machine. Being 30 floors up doesn’t stop the sound from getting into the apartment, especially if you want to enjoy the breeze.
Air conditioner condensation empties onto the deck instead of away from the building. So if you have it running be prepared to avoid the puddle on the deck.
It was an okay stay. Felt more like a hotel except without the amenities of getting fresh towels, etc. I wouldn’t tell anyone to avoid it, but we wouldn’t put it on our list of must stay again.

This property was well located, walking distance to Waikiki. It was clean and comfortable. Would be best for a couple but my teenage son did ok on the couch. Pretty nice views of water and mountains. It is the city, so there will be traffic/sirens etc. It has air conditioning and the key code made things easy.

You simply cannot beat the wonderful views and location, and unlike other nearby properties, the pool is in the sun most of the day.
That being said, the property fell short of 5 star for the following:
Security was overall good with the exception of a false alarm at 11:45 PM, requesting us to leave the building by the stairs.
Then, the next afternoon, a domestic squabble erupted on our floor and a screaming women and an angry man exploded outside our door. With no phone, informing security wasn't possible.
And last, there should at least be an option to change the linens on a two week stay. We stay in condos frequently and have never seen this.
