When I first saw this listing, I thought that there was no way the views or descriptions could be reality. I was proved so wrong after our stay here after being blown away by the incredible oceanfront scenery in this clean, comfortable, and well-equipped rental. My wife and I had an incredible honeymoon here, enjoying our daily breakfasts on the Lanai with frequent turtle sightings, easy access to the beach and pool, delicious foods from the nearby food trucks, and breathtaking nightly sunsets over the beach. Highly recommend staying here!

We weren’t sure about staying in this area as we had always stayed south of Black Rock…we were quite impressed and so happy we opted to try this location out! Great snorkeling just steps to the south, and the condo amenities we very nice and updated. We will stay here again!

Highly recommend staying at this condo, it was perfect. It is overlooking the kaanapali beach, we got to enjoy watching turtles and other fishes and even dolfins... The condo has everything youll need for a relaxing and exploring vacation. We snorkelled everyday and it was perfect. The kitchen also has all the utensils we need to cook during the stay home days. From the condo there's access to walk along the entire strip of the beach where you can checkout other hotels/condos and eat at their restuarants. Theres plenty of stores nearby and even foods trucks right next to the building.
Even thought there was no AC, the two portables AC units were more than enough it kept us cool indoors during the day and night. If we return to the island, will definetely stay here again. Mahalo.

Everything about this place was great. Incredible views, very well stocked kitchen, thoughtful accommodations like the small ice chests and beach chairs. Great attention to detail. As far as the property, its a 5 minute walk to duke's or the shopping center, quiet, even though its on the 10th floor, the elevator is quick, trash chute is convenient! Great experience!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO on Ka’anapali beach! The views from the room are amazing and you couldn’t be closer to the beach. You are also super close to a walking path that goes by all of the big resorts on that side of the beach and lots of restaurants. Room came with beach chairs and umbrella, and the condo building had fresh towels to use by the pool everyday. The apartment itself was very spacious for a one bed and well appointed.
We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to book in Maui!

We had an amazing 5 day stay in this condo in mid February. The view from the balcony and living room area is absolutely stunning. We were treated to whales breaching and playing throughout the day and breathtaking sunsets every evening. The condo has everything you could possibly need and any questions we had were answered by the host immediately. It's close to stores and restaurants, and the beach is just steps away. It far exceeded our expectations. We have already booked again for next year and cannot wait to go back!

OMGoodness. This condo was amazing. The location, the view, the sunsets, the bed, the couch, the patio, the Tommy Bahama umbrella and chairs that were provided. Everything was perfection. Seriously, I’ve been to Hawaii 8 times now and this is my favorite condo, by far. Sandy is amazing to work with. We were the first to stay since the fires and everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the unit for five nights and loved every minute of it. The views are breathtaking, especially the sunsets, and we spent a lot of time sea turtle spotting then running down to the beach to admire them on the beach minutes later.
The Mahana staff were very kind and kept the entire resort incredibly clean. Check-in process was simple and straightforward and had good follow up communication with the owner and the on-island contact.
The unit had plenty of towels, kitchen plates/pots/pans/appliances, beach chairs, and other things that made it easy to pack lightly and live fully once we got to Maui. You can sleep with the glass door open to hear the waves at night or open the doors and windows for a refreshing cross breeze. Everything in the unit was VERY clean and we felt very comfortable from the second we walked in the door.
The resort wasn’t overly crowded the week before July 4th and it always felt like we were in a secluded retreat when we were in the unit. We highly recommend this room and hope to visit Maui again, soon!!

The place was amazing. The views of the ocean from the lanai and room are the best in Maui. You are literally on the ocean. It is not really for kids though. More of an adult atmosphere. Our host Sandy was very attentive!

The unit was absolutely amazing! Breathtaking views, and it was if you were sitting in a boat on the water, looking out over the ocean.
Very well equipped, with high end appliances, and kitchen needs.
Lots of dining and shopping close by. There is a food truck lot within walking distance that offers a variety of options.
I have definitely make a record of this unit, and will be re-booking for future visits to the island.

Ocean view just doesn't get old. Sitting on the patio is fantastic every morning. Sunsets are amazing. My wife was sleeping while I went into the living area and quietly played my guitar. No issues with the place at all. It was clean, great place to make meals, bathroom was all very functional. If I had any questions, Sandy was right on it immediately with an answer. We'll definitely be staying here again if it's available.

We loved this place! We spent several days here and the day always began with breakfast and a good book on the lanai, watching the Pacific waves roll in. Our 10th floor perch gave us a beautiful perspective of the ocean panorama up and down Kaanapali beach. People walking the beach directly below and surfers and boats out on the water entertained us. The evening sun set in the distance lit up our later afternoons and evenings. The spacious bedroom features a floor-to-ceiling picture window and screen that forms the back wall of the lanai … what a great way to go to sleep with the sound of Pacific waves, then throw open the shades to welcome the day. The kitchen had everything you’d need and even some pleasant surprises as previous renters had apparently left some supplies behind for the next guest. Beach chairs, beach umbrella and boogie board were there for borrowing (though I think the umbrella was missing the gizmo that screws into the ground, making it difficult to keep upright on a windy beach). The unit was nicely decorated and squeeky-clean. We liked it so much we booked it again to come back this winter for whale-watching from the lanai.

This property BY FAR exceeded our expectations. We stayed at a hotel before this, and wish we had skipped there and just stayed at the condo. The host was amazing to work with, and even followed up once we checked in to make sure everything was good to go. We will definitely look into staying with them again when coming back to Maui. I would give 100 stars if at all possible!!

This property is simply amazing! From the unit itself, location and communication with Sandy, there is nothing more we could have wanted for our stay in Maui.
From the moment we walked in and saw the ocean through the floor to ceiling glass windows in the unit, we loved our days in paradise. The only thing we could have wanted was a longer stay!
While we ate out most of the time, the kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. The furniture is extremely well kept and is very comfortable.
Our favourite moments were having cocktails on the lanai, and watching the whales and the sunsets.
Its a long trip coming from Canada, but we will do everything we can to return in the future, and hope that we can stay again in this beautiful condo!

This is the 3rd condo that we have stayed at in The Mahana, it quickly became our favorite!!! The living room view felt like we were on a cruise ship! The ocean is gorgeous. We watched whales from the balcony, even a momma whale teaching her baby to do tail slaps, pectoral slaps and breaching, it was magical! The bed was comfortable, the furniture was great and the kitchen had everything you needed.

Just wow. We spent 8 nights during our honeymoon here and it was nothing short of amazing. The view from the balcony is amazing, we drank coffee and watched whales and turtles every morning before heading out to walk the long beach walk just outside the condo. Short 10-15 minute drive to excursions and dinner/drinks in Lahaina and a convenience store just across the street to gather supplies for the week. 10/10 experience… Maui we will be back!

My wife and I had an amazing time in Lahaina, and much prefer this gorgeous Condo to any resort. Hands down this is the way to stay, especially when you want to truly see the island. Place was spotless clean, view is absolutely insane. We sat and watched turtles from the lanai everybody morning. Beach isn’t really swimable, but it’s one of the best views for miles in either direction and the swimable beaches aren’t far. Management was responsive. Kitchen is very well stocked. We stayed here for the first half of our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. The property is quiet. There is a coral reef on the shore line which brings in turtles everyday. We enjoyed watching them from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a meal.
A few downsides are that there was construction during our stay, so we made sure to not be in the condo from 8 am until 5 pm when they were working because it was very loud. Also the property is located on a reef so you can't go into the water. We knew this ahead of time though.
Overall I'd recommend staying here. It was very comfortable and peaceful and watching the sunsets from the balcony was the highlight of our day.

We had a lovely time at this condo! Amazing views, and the host couldn’t have made for a cleaner and more welcoming stay inside. You can watch the turtles from the Lanai! The only drawback was the construction on the building and the sound of occasional drilling. Otherwise great experience.

We really enjoyed our 7 days in unit 1014 with the one exception being the noise from the ongoing construction, was irritating to be awoken by the noise of power tools at 7 or 730 every morning. We thought the construction was to be finished by the time we arrived. BUT that didn’t seem to bother the turtles we got to watch from our lana’i every morning, was awesome!! And the lana’i was heavily used morning, noon and night—so relaxing!

Had a wonderful five-night stay. The views of Moloka‘i and L:anai from this 10th floor condo simply cannot be beat, especially at sunset.
The condo is the perfect size for a couple. If you have one or two young children, you should be fine. Teens would be OK as well, but you may find things a bit crowded with just one bathroom (the shower and toilet are separate from the sink/vanity space).
The kitchen is well-equipped with a great large fridge, stove and microwave, along with a coffee maker (we had to purchase coffee filters, but we left 95 of them for future guests). There is also a small stacked washer/dryer combo which came in handy a couple of times. The TV has numerous channels to watch, but you really won't need it since you should be out and about enjoying the beach.
And the lanai is great as well with the only complaint -- albeit very minor -- was that the furniture was different than what is shown in the photos.
We didn't take advantage of some of the Mahana's amenities, but the pool and hot tub were great, especially at night.
While the "beach" directly in front of the condo isn't really a place to set up, all you have do to is walk about a hundred yards to the north of the Mahana to a decent beach. And if you set up directly in front of the adjacent complex, there is a nice little general store to go grab drinks/sandwichces.
All in all, this condo is fantastic. You won't be disappointed!

This was an excellent place to stay. We are now spoiled and won't want to stay anywhere else in Maui. The unit is steps from the ocean and you are treated to views of breathtaking sunsets every evening and turtles frolicking in the clear blue water during the day. The place was equipped with everything we needed to cook a meal or enjoy a day on the beach and we were more than comfortable. There are many shops, restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. We want to return as soon as possible!

The condo is as beautiful as the photos, and the view is simply stunning. We saw turtles and whales from the lanai, beautiful rainbows. The condo is quite large and well-appointed. Everything you need is provided, from a comfy king bed (with that view to die for and crashing waves), to air conditioning and fans, to essentials in the kitchen, to beach chairs. Wonderful location with walking access to the board walk, restaurants along the beach, food carts and store. Communication was excellent with Sandy, who is readily available, kind and helpful. There is a temporary issue with construction, but Sandy and the owner were very accommodating and empathetic. It's nice to know that the condo is being maintained and safe, but I'm sure all will be happy when it's completed. Would love to go back! Thank you Sandy!

Beautiful place! We really enjoyed our stay. The views cannot be beat - watched whales and sea turtles every day from the room. The construction was very loud at times and we had to find somewhere else to go during the day because of this, but Sandy was very upfront about this from the beginning. We really enjoyed and would recommend to others!
