Perfect location, clean, comfortable with extra items for the beach. Just relax on the decks and watch the sunset or cross the street to enjoy Magic Sands beach.

The view was amazing from the patio. The inside was a flashback from the 70’s but for the price no complaints and would stay here again.

Needs some updating but still nice. Management was great to work with on issues with insects. Very responsive to my request. The lanai was huge and spent time watching the whales and great sunsets. The beach park across the road is nice but no sandy beach to enter the water. Not recommended for small children for swimming. You are on the busy road so can get very noisy from traffic and boom music from pos cars. Should put the money spent on boom equipment to their cars. All in all if you like watching whales this is a nice place.

This 2 bedroom condo was perfect for our week stay. It came with Fantastic views with a great location across from a great sandy beach. A short distance from a snorkeling beach. Close to most activities. The condo itself felt like home with ample space, a furnished kitchen, large living room and good bedroom. The showers were great. There was enough space in this condo for everyone to have his/her space. The balcony was huge, again with great views. We are very happy that we stayed here and would recommend this condo to others.

We paid extra for this unit compared to our other experiences renting at this condo complex. Having such a large lanai on the 2nd floor overlooking the beach was really the draw but the place does need some work inside to justify that extra cost. Working with the management was easy and they were responsive to our needs.

Being located across the street from amazing beach with a great view is best thing about this property. This unit was not cleaned thoroughly when we checked in. Prop Mgmt acknowledged my request but never followed thru. This unit is in real need of updating, I’m not sure if stained rusted and worn bathrooms and kitchen can be scrubbed clean to show difference. Mattresses need replacing too. Hard and lumpy. Owners are clearly hands off.

We loved our stay and our hosts stocked this condo with everything you could possibly need. They supplied beach toys, chairs & towels, coolers, pharmacy items, etc, etc. The balcony was huge and well furnished, a great spot for morning coffee and nighttime cocktails. Should we be lucky enough to visit the Big Island in the future we’d be happy to stay here again.

While this building does have an elevator it does not reach all levels. This is a challenge with getting suitcases and groceries to and from the unit. Everything else was as advertised. And we got to experience the Magic Sand. It all disappeared one night. The beach scene was totally entertaining.

The location was the best in the complex with the beach and the sunset views unobstructed. Parking was great. Some of the kitchen equipment was in need of rehab due to the age of the complex but other amenities were very nice.

We love the location. Condo could use some updating/attention. Little things like no wine opener and two Coffee grinders, but neither worked. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Incredible location with beach and sunset view. Magic sands is a beautiful lively beach and only sandy beach in the area. Huge patio was great for enjoying the gorgeous Kailua-Kona weather ( best weather we’ve had on Big Island) and view. Complex had great activities such as pool, BBQ, pool table, etc. Hosts also provided everything needed for day at the beach for 4+ people. This was the perfect place for our family. Wish we were still there.

The unit itself could use some updating and minor attention to detail would go a long way here. The bed is uncomfortable, the AC ducts need to be cleaned; allergy sensitive people like me beware, toilet in hall runs every 5 min, clock on Wall is broken, decor is very minimal, pillow cases and bedding in general and drapes are dingy, the sliding doors are really hard to open, no wine opener in unit, no tea kettle, which we needed both, total basics only. It wouldn’t take that much money to make this unit outstanding. But the lanai and view were wonderful for us and we had our friends over several nights and watched all the action at the beach below. Walking to the beach to take a dip was a high point for me. I ran down Alii drive in the morning one day we were here and biked on a rented bike the next. Overall a good experience just wish they’d put some more money into the unit. I manage vacation rentals where I live so maybe I’m pickier than most. But a little more attention to detail would go along way.

You can open your slider to hear the ocean waves and families playing in the beach’s across the street. The sunsets are beautiful. It was clean, well supplied and comfortable. Updated towels, and a smart TV would be our only suggestion. It’s up three floors which is fine for active families. Parking is right next to stairs. Very convenient. Quiet neighbors except the temporary construction for a lovely updated beach park. It did not bother us but it elevates the noise level with the bust street. We were rarely home so it was fine. Great location and near everything around Kona.

So glad we sprung for this property with a huge, wraparound balcony, facing the ocean on one side! There was a large dining table out on the balcony so we could eat all of our meals while enjoying the sound and view of the ocean. We spent hours out there. The pool at this property was also lovely. The beach is a short 3-5 minute walk across the street. Be advised that in the winter the beach practically disappears. There was very little sand to sit on. But I think that is not the case in the summer. We had a great stay!

Only place we saw with a beach just across the road. Alii drive was quite quiet so the road didnt detract from the beautiful location with great sunsets. Had to swim every day and most days had a turtle for company in the water. Big island is a superb place to visit. Only thing was two weeks went by too quick.

The location of this property is superb. The shower head in the small bathroom barely yielded a trickle of water. This wasn't an issue for us since there was just the two of us. This would have been an issue with a family.

Fantastic view of beach and ocean from second floor balcony. Very comfortable unit with good beds. The appliances and bathroom fixtures are old and need repair or replacement. Private parking is great.

Amazing views, clean, well stocked kitchen and condo, very convenient location to beach, personal parking space, lots of activity and beach items to use including umbrellas, chairs, and boogie boards! We will definitely be recommending this to friends and will be staying here again!

Beautiful well kept, clean condo with an amazing view of the beach from the entire lanai -- a wonderful place for meals and just relaxing to the sound of the waves. If it's a little too warm out, you can still hear the waves from the living room in the lovely AC. Beach chairs, kick boards, snorkel masks, and an umbrella are provided for use as well as all the supplies needed to clean up on the way out. The only minor draw back (and I do mean minor) is it is a very popular beach so it can get pretty loud during the day and some nights. This wasn't a problem for us but for someone looking for complete peace and quiet that may be a deal breaker. Otherwise it was the most incredible place I've ever stayed and I would absolutely stay here again in the future!!

It's easy access to the beach, we can enjoy nice view from the room and eat/drink at the balcony with sunset. Weekday night, there are too much noisy music on the street, but if you close the windows, no problems.

White sands condo 201 did not disappoint. The view from the lanai was our favorite spot both morning and evening. Condo was well equipped with everything you needed including beach towels, chairs, cooler, umbrella and other beach items. All the basics to get started of dish soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels, laundry pods and toilet paper and hand soap were available. There was a hair dryer but it was not listed. Extras for an extended stay were easy to get at the nearby grocery store. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of sunscreen and other kitchen items like tin foil left from other guests…just like we left for the text group. Only thing we found missing was no baking sheet but had plenty of pans and baking dishes to make it work.

Right across the street from White Sands Beach, great pool and property amenities. All the restaurants and shopping you need within 3 miles. Property was clean and loved the huge balcony that overlooked the beach.

We rate it a 4+. Beautiful view, great location, clean condo complex. The only down side is the 5 homeless living 150’ away on the beach with their 4 dogs barking 24 hours a day.

The location is great and the condo very spacious. It badly needs ome updates--the 90s era dishwasher broke and we had to wash our dishes by hand at the last minute. But the managers were very patient in helping us navigate the Covid documentation which we appreciated.

This was our family's first trip to Kona and we had an amazing time at this complex. First of all, there are very few sandy beaches and we visited about 6 of the other beaches that were within about 1-hour of our unit. The Magic sands beach which this unit looks at was by far our family's favorite. We will absolutely be staying here again we we come back.

The condo was exactly as shown. It is a little outdated but it is large, roomy, airy and the view was just gorgeous whether watching a quiet beach in the morning or watch a fabulous sunset every evening. The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom set up guaranteed privacy. Parking was great with a large dedicated space and the condo had all the beach equipment you would want. The complex was quiet and private. Because the condo is at the front end, nobody walks by and we never heard other vacationers. The location was good as it is right across the street from one of the few nice public beaches in the area. There are also two restaurants right across the street to satisfy formal or informal dining. Downtown shopping area is only 2-3 miles away. The only downside to the location is that it is right above a rather busy and noisy road. If traffic noise and crowd noise bother you, you might want to think about it. When the sliding doors were closed, noise was minimal and it doesn’t start until 10am and is done shortly after dark. We enjoyed the beach noise and people watch from the balcony so this noise did not bother us. We were often gone during the day as well. We would rent again and felt it suited our needs perfectly.

In good location at ok price. Needs updated dishwasher, bathroom facilities and mattresses (on the hard side). Great view of ocean and very clean. We were very pleased about all the extras which included large ice chest, boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, shampoo, soap, sunscreen and bug spray. Magic Sands beach really has no beach (mainly rocks) but Kahalu'u beach is very close and Hapuna beach not far away. Would definitely stay there again.
