This condo is really cute! It’s clean and updated. The location is great, just about a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen is great!
The pool area and gym are quite small for the number of condos at this property. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the pool.
The location is great- easy walk to shopping and restaurants in Kihei and easy drive to Wailea.

We love Kamaole Sands and have stayed at multiple condos in the last 30 years. This unit did not disappoint! It was beautiful and had been well maintained and “loved”. The host provided games that my children loved and amenities to be used at the beach. The bathrooms and kitchen have been upgraded recently. We would definitely recommend to others!

We loved staying at Kamaole Sands! The condo is exactly as described and it had everything we needed for our family of 5. Very clean and spacious. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, pots, pans and utensils. We also enjoyed having all the nice extras, like beach chairs, umbrella, a rollaway cooler, snorkeling gear and beach towels. We spent a lot of time at the beach, which is directly across the street. We loved the decor in the condo, very modern and bright. Beds were comfortable, even the sofa bed. This is a special place and we really enjoyed the stay. Mahalo!

Everything was great, the kitchen had adequate cutlery, plates and cups. Fridge was nice and clean. The condo was up to date on everything!! The beds were comfy and clean! The pull out couch could have been better but it is a pull out after all. The customer service from Rentals Maui is the hands down the best I've ever had!! They took care of everything that we needed and some miss haps as well!! Overall my family had an awesome time staying at this location and will hopefully on our next visit our to Maui we would be able to get this location again!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Kamaole sands condo! We were at this property for 3 nights before we checked into another condo in the same property. This condo has everything you need for a stay, including beach towels (although they are on the smaller size), beach chairs, and we loved having snorkeling gear! The beach is right across the street from the condo, but we spent time at other beaches that we found. Highly recommend Ulua beach- tons of sea turtles and a great reef for snorkeling. Overall, loved this condo and unit- it’s exactly as pictured in the photos!

Condo # 9-205, The pictures provided to us prior to rental was 100% correct. We loved this 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen, stacked washer/dryer Condo which has Beach blankets, chairs, umbrella, cooler, available in the room. Location was perfect, just a short walk across the street to a very nice beach that we did daily for the incredible sunsets. Maui rentals took care of ALL of our issues we had in the condo, extra blankets, ice maker repair. Our family will be back & hope this unite is available. The Kamaole Sands resort grounds was very beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit has been nicely updated. We would stay here again for sure. Wifi issues were resolved in a pretty timely manner and communication with property manager was good. Children’s warm pool was broken for the 9 days we were there. No fault of the condo owner. It was rainy and we had to sneak our children into the adult hot tub to warm up! Would still stay at this complex again.

The condo itself is fantastic. Really appreciate the beach supplies and the game cupboard. The beds are comfy, the shower is nice, the kitchen layout is cool. It is right off the elevator, so you do get a little noise from the comings and going of others. But I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.
It's fantastic being right across the street from a lovely beach, a short stroll from some shopping and dining, and a quick drive away from anything in Kihei.
I saw a couple of the other units at Kamaole Sands that family and friends were staying in, and I liked ours the best.

Such a clean, stylish, and comfortable spot walking distance from the beach. The condo had more than enough space for our party of 4 adults (we could have easily fit another couple with the surprisingly comfortable pull out couch). The location was phenomenal, feeling less touristy than Lahaina and Wailea, and providing easy and affordable options for restaurants, bars, and groceries. The condo is also stocked with beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, and coolers, perfect for lazy beach days. We saw tons of whales right from the neighboring Kamaole 3 Beach, and even saw a few turtles pass by while we swam!! We will be returning as soon as we can!!

We had a great month long stay. Upon arrival we noticed some serious concerns with the unit’s cleanliness (bathroom, laundry, kitchen, and floors). We sent an email with photos to the property manager and received an immediate response. They took the matter seriously and helped us come to a solution. We also encountered an issue with the kitchen sink leaking, which they were quick to remedy as well. There were teensy ants in the kitchen but they were easy to manage by keeping all food in the fridge, taking the garbage out daily and wiping counters. We only had them the first day or two then once we cleaned the unit, they didn’t return.
The unit is spacious, includes tons of fresh linens and lots of beach supplies. The AC is incredible and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to make many meals with ease. The complex is awesome. The pool and gym were great amenities and the Wednesday hula dancing was always a good time. The communal bbqs (grills) were a great place to cook your dinner, watch the sunset, and meet your neighbours. Can’t recommend Kamaole Sands enough. Will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay in this unit. It was as described in the add which was great. Very clean and with ample supplies for the full week. Beds and linens were fantastic. This unit is newly updated in comparison to other units and I would love to be able to stay here again one day. I would absolutely recommend this unit.

We had a 9 night stay here in August 2022. This was our 4th time in Maui and 2nd time staying in Kihei (we stayed in Kaanapali the other 2 times).
Pros:
- The location is perfect as it’s directly across from the beach and within walking distance to dining and shops.
- The unit is brightly decorated and spacious for our family of 5.
- The beds were comfortable.
- Living area has a huge tv with Netflix
- The unit is equipped with beach towels, beach chairs (but no boogie boards) and most things you’ll need in the kitchen if you want to cook any of your meals.
- The washer/dryer is also a huge plus.
- Pool and bbqs which we used to cook steak and burgers one evening.
- The mgmt company was responsive to my emails about the safe which was not usable during our stay and when someone had parked in our assigned parking spot after we returned from a long day.
Cons:
- We did encounter some tiny ants in the kitchen even though we knew not to leave any food out but I understand this is apparently common (my sister who was in another unit also had some too).
- The window beside the front door does not have any frosting or window covering so people walking by at night can see into the unit. There are also 2 roller blinds in each of the bedrooms and when they are rolled down, there is still a 2 inch gap between them which privacy-wise isn’t ideal. We just taped up some paper towels and problem was solved.
We would stay at Kamaole Sands again. Kihei is a convenient location.

This apartment was the perfect size for our family of 4, children ages 5 and 7. Upon entry the apartment was clean, nicely furnished and temperature set just right. There were cleaning supplies to keep the unit tidy during our stay, and enough dishwasher and laundry detergent for our 10 days stay. These little details made the stay that much more pleasant.

The place is close to everything. It is about 3 min walk to the beach, 10 min drive to Turtle Beach and Big Beach. The place is clean and spacious. You have everything you need. We did not use the kitchen but we were able to use the bowls and mugs. This condo is like a home away from home.

The property was just like it was posted in the pictures. The location could not be better, literally across from the beach. The complex is gorgeous, the pool, the amenities, the entire experience was fabulous. The property management were so easy to deal with and promptly returned any emails sent. We had a great experience with three adult children alongside my husband and I.
There was five beach chairs, which was perfect for our family of five and two boogie boards which my kids had a blast with. We added a beach umbrella to the mix. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Property was in overall nice condition and nicely remodeled except the master shower, which was gross.
The overall cleanliness of the unit was a concern in that it had obviously not been cleaned. We wiped down the entire unit our first day, and questioned what the cleaning fee was for if we had to clean it. We asked management about, but received no response about that. Also the sheets on the two twin beds were covered in hair, so we requested they be changed, and they were. Main shower did not have hot water so management said they would send someone to check out the hot water heater. Never heard if someone came and every shower continued to be cold.
There was construction going on in the unit above us that went on all day every day except Sunday. We wish they had reached out and told us it was going to happen, as it was extremely loud.
Also not thrilled to have to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels beyond the few starter rolls. For the price we paid to stay there, that should be included.
We love Kamaole Sands and have stayed at this complex several times. Just won’t stay in this unit again.

We stayed in this unit for 10 days and loved it. The pull out couch was comfortable for grandma and the grandkids. Both boys (3 & 9) wanted to sleep with her so she and one kid slept on the bed portion and another kid on the chase lounge part of the couch next to it. They all fit great. I was prepared for scary bugs, but there were none. Most importantly, the unit did not have a musty or mildewy odor from all the humidity. My mom has BAD asthma, allergies and COPD and can’t breathe when there is any mustiness. She did fine and the unit smelled fresh and clean. We left a boogie board in the lanai closet, which was stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, coolers, a swim noodle etc. Great location across from the beach. Restaurants and convenience store (ABC store) within walking distance. The pool area has a 2ft deep kiddie pool with stairs that was great for my toddler plus a larger pool for the big kids and hot tubs for the grown ups. We would stay here again for sure.

We love staying at Kam sands. This unit has a nice layout. It was very nice having ac in every room. It's decorated very well and is comfortable. It could use a deep clean but clean enough to stay in. It has beach chairs but no umbrella to use and has plenty of beach towels. Communication with the host was amazing. I would recommend this unit to my friends and family.

The unit was very clean and Shirley was awesome. The tv remote was very difficult to use need a simpler one as Shirley had to come over several times to make it work. Outside was very dark the entrance needed more lights. We could not find any stairs only elevator.
We could have used more soap and tp in the bathrooms. We did not have enough hot water for 4 people to shower which was a big problem!

We spent 3 glorious weeks in this unit. Our contact at Maui Vacation Rentals was a star. Todd Tuttle answered all our questions and was consistently helpful. Unit is newly refreshed and super clean. A walk to the beach, privacy, great pool, lots of grills. Can’t say enough about our experience!

The condo was recently renovated and very comfortable. Slept 4 adults and two kids comfortably. Fully stocked with towels, kitchen supplies, and beach supplies (chairs, coolers, umbrella, sand toys, etc.). Location is perfect with Kam III right across the street and a pool and beautiful garden grounds on-site with BBQ areas for general use.
