Overall it was decent, we had studio Mountain View, room was a bit of a tight squeeze w luggage and the fold out couch out, handy to have kitchen , amenities including umbrella rentals were great, people hold spots by pool before 7am, not a lot of nearby food options unless you have a car and it’s pretty quiet after 9pm. Which can be nice unless your looking for a party! The hotel itself was nice but it’s good to know which tower is better and closer to everything….

We love staying at the Marriott in Ko Olina. We have been there many times and try to get back there every year. The property is immaculate and some of the rooms have recently been remodeled. The amenities are perfect for us with a market and 2 restaurants on the property. The lagoon is real bonus since you have an option of swimming in the pools or lagoon...plus the sunsets are stunning.

The resort was spectacular with everything you could want. The unit was a bit disappointing however. The pictures on the web site clearly show a spectacular view of the ocean (with a note that the unit may vary from the one shown) but our unit was in theory ocean front but had no view of the ocean. Not the best start to a long awaited Hawaiian dream vacation. All in all still a good stay at Ko Olina.

The staff was amazing. Hannah responded quickly the only complaint i would have is we were suppose to have a mountain view and we overlooked the parking for the resort. I wpukd stay at tjis resort again for sure .

We loved our stay at Marriot Ko’olina!! It was our favorite part of Oahu. It’s such a Beautiful resort with a perfect lagoon for swimming, awesome pools with a slide that our kids loved, and great restaurant at the resort. Excellent property for a couple. Love walking the trail along the beach everyday. I’d recommend requesting a room with a resort or ocean view to get more natural light, otherwise the room is pretty dark. The food at the restaurant was delicious, staff and service were good.

The property was exactly as promised. Several pools to choose from including wonderful beach lagoon. Service was outstanding and the grounds were well kept. There is a "quiet" pool at the resort which was enjoyable. We will be back!!

This property was beautiful. The only downside for us was we got a garage view from the balcony, but we knew a good view wasn’t guaranteed. The room was nice. We really enjoyed walking around the property and seeing the pools, jacuzzis and the connected lagoon. The views, especially at sunset were beautiful. We had no problems with checkin or checking out. Booking was easy and I felt like Hanna made sure we knew what to expect and helped a lot during the booking process.

It was great working with Hanna to plan our trip. It was great staying at the Marriott Vacation Club Ko Olina because it had a few bars, restaurants, pools, and a lagoon. Everything was accessible. There were also other hotels and lagoons we could walk to and visit. Overall, this location really gave us the resort feel we wanted to relax.

Hanna was amazing to plan this with. The resort was also really nice and great to escape to after the busyness of waikiki.
We did pay for the ocean view and it was definitely “obstructed” (we had to lean over our balcony to be able to see) but the ad warns of This so not a big deal.
I’m not sure if mentioned, but when staying at the resort through VRBO you have to pay if you want housekeeping. They also really try to sell you on time shares (multiple phone calls) when you’re there. Again, not issues of the VRBO listing just wanted to mention in case it helps someone. Overall 5/5. This was my third time staying at an ocean-view studio here at Marriott’s Ko Olina resort, my first time in this unit.
The room was well-appointed, per usual. And it was clean, but for hair all over the floor. When I mentioned this to the front desk, they had it cleaned within minutes.
The description said “ocean-view” balcony, for which I pay extra. I am a writer, and this is normally a wonderful spot in which to create. This unit, being one floor above ground, had only glimpses of the ocean through the buildings and trees. The balcony, where I spend a lot of down time, sits immediately above the main entrance to the building, and people entering would frequently look up, wave, even say something to me.
The see-through balcony is lovely on the higher floors, but on the second floor gave it all a fish-bowl feeling.
The taller ice-cream table found in the other units, was not available here, instead the short, tiny table made eating and writing a little more experimental and uncomfortable.
This room would be great if you don’t spend time on the balcony or hope for much of an ocean view.

For the price, you can't beat this deal. The Marriott Vacation Club was set on a beautiful beach with three gorgeous pools that were definitely geared towards families with children of all ages. The on-site restaurants had great food at reasonable prices. The on-site shop was as big as a small convenience store, half full of fun souvenir shop items and the other half with groceries and other items you might need on vacation - AND had an in-store Starbucks and ice cream shop w/ the famous DOLE whip ! The whole facility was clean, had great free classes for all ages where you could do AM yoga on the beach or arts and crafts. Even a garden walk! Parking was free which is HUGE (check out the daily parking rates at the nearby hotels !!). My only complaint was that the room I stayed in had a funny odor; kinda like the cleaner they use when a room is converted from a smoking room to non-smoking room. Luckily I have a terrible since of smell so it did not really bother me and if I open the slider it aired out quick. Also the bathroom fan was broken. I did call the front desk and they confirmed there is supposed to be a bathroom fan and offered to come immediately but I declined because it was so late at night and at that point I only had one night left for my work conference. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and you get a super good deal for what you pay, considering the prices in Hawaii. I only did 4 star due to the room smell and broken bathroom fan.

The room was ocean view but since it was only booked 6 months in advance, it was a first floor pool view since others owners got priority for the booking. This wasn’t very cool

We begged for her to find us something and she worked on it and found us an ocean view, but just beware ocean view is not guaranteed even if you pay for it

Rooms are nice, food is a little pricey but we had a mini fridge, a microwave, a sink and dishes and the resort has grill stations if you prefer to make your own. Close to airport, Electric Beach and Dole Plantation—many things to see nearby! Really enjoyed our VRBO stay.

We had a great trip. Our studio room was clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed this unit and resort. The balcony is a little small on the studio units but overall I would rate this very highly and a good value for the cost.
